Los Angeles Airport.

It was afternoon, and the sun was shining so brightly that the ground was hot.

The sky in California is a dazzling blue.

Chen Mo walked out of the exit, took out a pill, and swallowed it.

During the more than ten-hour flight, he took one pill every four hours, and the four hours were just enough for him to digest the effects of the medicine. He spent the entire time cultivating.

This one enters the abdomen, just in time to start a new cycle of the body's energy circulation.

He never neglected his cultivation; it was his habit.

A figure came into view in the distance; it was Ghost.

Wearing a bespoke suit and leather shoes, with his slicked-back hair neatly combed, he stood there, and you could tell at a glance that he was a respectable person.

Cufflinks, pocket watch chain, shoes polished to a shine – every detail is impeccable.

If you didn't know better, you'd think he was the personal butler of some long-established wealthy family.

Beside him stood another person, dressed in a loose sweatshirt and jeans, their attire cheap and simple. Standing next to the exquisite ghost, their style seemed particularly out of place.

His face was covered in stubble, and he wore a pair of worn-out shoes.

The two stood side by side; one looked like a high-end butler, and the other like a homeless man.

Chen Mo was somewhat surprised, but then he realized that the person was Naga.

The two saw Chen Mo come out and quickly went to greet him.

Ghost placed his right hand on his chest and gave a standard gentleman's bow.

"Boss, welcome back to Los Angeles. This City of Angels always welcomes distinguished guests like you."

Naga bowed in greeting:

"Boss, it's been a long time."

Chen Mo nodded slightly.

He reached out and patted each of them on the shoulder.

The ghost was flattered and bowed even deeper.

Naga grinned with a simple, honest smile.

After a while, the ghost straightened up and explained:

"Naga came to help with the mission, but heard you were coming to deal with the villa, so he stayed to help you."

Naga nodded repeatedly beside him.

"Boss, feel free to give me any dirty or tiring work."

"Um."

Chen Mo asked casually,

"How did the mission go?"

The ghost lowered his voice:

"I'll report back to you once I'm in the car."

After saying that, he gestured for them to proceed.

The three walked towards the parking lot.

Chen Mo walked in front, with Ghost and Naga following a step behind.

He was dressed casually, but he was tall and handsome with long hair tied back. His posture was relaxed and languid, somewhat like a noble young master from a reclusive family.

An Asian man walked in front, followed by an American and an East Asian, each more respectful than the last.

This scene is incredibly strange no matter how you look at it.

The sight of the three of them drew frequent glances from those around them.

Girls kept taking out their phones to take pictures.

I got into the extended Lincoln.

Ghost and Naga sat opposite Chen Mo.

The car was well-cooled, and had a small liquor cabinet and cigar box.

Chen Mo crossed his legs, took out three cigarettes, and handed two to the two men.

Naga lit a fire for him.

The ghost took the cigarette and thanked him first.

The three of them each took a breath before the ghost spoke.

"Boss, everyone on the list has been dealt with. Naga took out sixteen, leaving twenty-two."

After saying that, he picked up a file bag from beside him and handed it over with both hands.

Chen Mo took it and opened it.

These are photos of the deaths of the Jiang family members.

The photos were printed very clearly, and each one had a name written on the back.

He looked through them one by one.

There are only 28 photos, 10 are missing.

Most of them were headshots or shots that pierced the heart.

The technique is crisp and sharp, without any unnecessary movements.

This brutal and direct style is nothing like the meticulous and unexpected plans that Ghost usually uses; instead, it fits Naga's way of killing.

Looking at the last two photos, you can't even make out the human figures.

Two ruins, with incomplete corpses lying haphazardly.

"Ghost, you've changed your killing style?"

The ghost smiled slightly.

"Boss, the lives of these people on the list aren't worth me meticulously planning an accidental death."

"This time there are many targets and time is tight. I also need to collect information on those politicians for you, so I chose the most efficient and direct method."

He paused for a moment, then added another sentence.

"However, I must confess that doing this is somewhat damaging to my professional pride. Without a decent work of art, my professional fastidiousness is almost kicking in."

Chen Mo put down the photo and took a drag of his cigarette.

This reflects a perception that there are too many targets, or that their value is too low, making them unworthy of meticulous planning; the only goal is to achieve the fastest possible elimination.

"What's the situation with these last two ruins?"

Naga opened his mouth to explain.

He and the ghost killed many people in succession. The remaining people became alert and gathered in two different places, and even spent money to hire a large number of security guards.

After discussing it, the two decided to simply blast them to smithereens with an RPG.

Chen Mo felt a surge of joy upon hearing this.

These two are such a handful.

No wonder there were missing hands and feet in the photo.

Only in the United States is arms control relaxed, and all kinds of heavy firepower can be easily purchased.

If this were in China, no weapons would be an option.

He immediately took out his phone and transferred the money.

"Well done. I'll say it again, as long as it's a result, I don't care what methods you use. Ghost, the money has been transferred to you."

The ghost took out his phone, glanced at it, and grinned broadly.

"Wow, boss, you're always so generous. Working with you is always full of surprises."

Then, in front of Chen Mo, he turned Naga's portion over.

Even between brothers, accounts should be kept clear; he distinguished them very well.

Naga's phone vibrated, and upon seeing the text message, he was overjoyed and thanked them repeatedly.

Eight million US dollars is no small sum for him.

Chen Mo waved his hand.

"Ghost, show me the information you've collected."

The ghost slapped his forehead.

"Oh my god, look at me, I've been so blinded by the money that I almost forgot what I was doing."

He picked up the second file folder next to him and handed it over with both hands.

Chen Mo opened the document; there were only two files. He glanced at the names and identities of the two individuals.

George Whitman, Governor of California.

Marcus Coleman, California Attorney General.

They belong to the same political party.

One gave the endorsement for the seizure, and the other signed the freezing procedure.

It's clearly stated in the materials.

Whitman, 56, served as governor for eight years. He appeared approachable, but behind the scenes, he took bribes and never hesitated to do favors.

Coleman, 43, Attorney General, in charge of law enforcement and asset freezes, is notoriously greedy.

Further down the page, it becomes clear that the two individuals are backed by the same group of wealthy patrons.

They were the backers of the bosses that Chen Mo had brought down.

However, these individuals were merely minor benefactors, insignificant at all, and certainly not enough to warrant the personal intervention of a governor and an attorney general. There must be another reason.

The ghost added from the side:

"By the way, boss, they can't freeze your bank account; they can't find anything about it. After all that trouble, they can only target your assets."

If you can't find it, that's correct.

His bank account had long been encrypted using hacking techniques, making it untraceable even by the most skilled hackers.

"How are those workers doing now?"

The ghost sat up a little straighter.

"Don't worry. I've taken care of everything as a lawyer. Although he's still being held, he's not suffering any hardship in terms of food, clothing, or lodging, and I've also made arrangements for his family."

Chen Mo nodded and returned the file bag to Ghost.

"Help me arrange for the two of them to meet up tomorrow."
