The moment the dark blue beam of light collided with the golden flames, the entire top floor of the Time-Space City seemed to be violently shaken by a giant hand.

The shockwave spread along the ground, the rock strata made a dull cracking sound, and the debris was swept into the air and then fell down like a rainstorm.

Etelgar's Hellfire, the golden torrent that had once easily torn apart all of their combined attacks, was actually blocked this time. It wasn't just barely blocked; it was firmly pinned in mid-air.

The golden destructive energy churned wildly on the impact surface, like a trapped beast desperately trying to break free of its cage, but the dark blue beam of light remained motionless.

Not only did they not retreat, they pressed forward.

Etelgar was stunned. He couldn't understand how two people who were about to die could still launch such an attack.

He gritted his teeth and released a large amount of energy. The light of the hellfire surged for a short time, roaring as it tried to suppress the beam.

But it was no use. The power of the dark blue beams did not weaken; instead, they piled up layer upon layer, becoming heavier and heavier with each push.

Finally, the golden flame was completely engulfed, and the dark blue light overwhelmed everything, carrying the remnants of Etelgar's Hellfire, and crashed heavily into Etelgar.

The intense light engulfed all outlines, the explosion was so loud it hurt people's eardrums, and thick smoke and dust churned and filled the entire space.

After the light dissipated, the arms of Sirius and Delusional Sirius simultaneously drooped down.

It wasn't put down, it fell down, like two puppet limbs with their strings cut, limply crashing to either side of the body.

Not only were they completely drained of energy, but they didn't even have the strength to lift their fingers to maintain their posture. Both of their bodies were swaying and could fall at any moment, but neither of them took their eyes off the depths of the thick smoke.

They knew Etelgar wasn't that easy to kill, but the problem was, they couldn't even finish him off right now.

Just as they had predicted, a flash of golden light appeared deep within the thick smoke.

The golden light shot out from the smoke, and in the blink of an eye, it was almost in front of them.

Sirius's instincts acted before his brain could react; he tried to roll to the side to dodge the attack, but his legs wouldn't obey him.

At this moment, his legs felt as heavy as if they were filled with cement, nailed to the ground and impossible to pull up. The shadow of death loomed over him as Sirius frantically tried to figure out how to dodge the attack.

He was pushed aside...

The force that pushed him was immense, far beyond what someone who was also exhausted could muster.

Sirius's body was pushed sideways and his vision swept across a face as he spun around.

It's the face of a delusional West...

His face was expressionless, devoid of any tragic or resolute expression; there was nothing superfluous about it. It was as if he were simply doing something very ordinary.

Then the golden light engulfed him...

With a muffled boom, it wasn't the kind of explosion that could engulf the world, but a more cruel sound—the sound of a body being torn apart by high energy.

The body of the delusional West exploded in golden light, and countless tiny fragments were thrown into the sky by the shockwave. They refracted into starlight under the sunlight and then slowly drifted away, like a silent snowfall.

Only a bottle cap-shaped timer remained.

It did not shatter; instead, it floated quietly in the air, reflecting the sunlight from high above and shining directly into the chronometer on Sirius's chest.

Just then, a faint starlight flickered inside the Sirius timer, and a fourth star silently appeared on the timer, which originally only had three stars lit up.

Sirius's mind was blank, devoid of everything, except for this one thought that kept pounding in his head: why could Sirius's arm still move when it was clearly unable to lift itself?

There is no answer, and no answer is needed...

An emotion surged up from the depths of my chest, a bitter taste stuck in my throat. I wanted to say something but couldn't utter a word. Finally, all my emotions were swallowed up by something scalding hot.

This is anger...

As the smoke and dust slowly dissipated, Etalgar's figure reappeared.

The mask on his face shattered, revealing a mouth underneath, with rows of fine, overlapping fangs that looked sharp and ferocious.

His gaze pierced through the lingering smoke and landed on Sirius, who lay sprawled on the ruins, with a mocking, cat-like look.

"Oh? You actually managed to survive."

His tone was very soft, as if he were chatting, as if he were commenting on a trivial matter. When he squeezed out the next sentence through his fangs, there was even a hint of pleasure in his voice:

"See? This is what happens when you disobey me!"

However, the way he scattered into pieces was actually quite beautiful, like fireworks exploding in the night sky, both dazzling and poignant.

Sirius lay on the ground, head bowed. Although he was severely injured and unable to do anything, he still moved.

Those hands, those hands that were completely exhausted just a second ago, suddenly surged with new strength from somewhere.

He dug his fingers into the cracks in the gravel and struggled to stand up, swaying with every movement, but he finally managed to stand.

Aetalga watched him stand up, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. He was genuinely surprised that the guy in front of him could actually stand up.

But then he calmed down, adopting the tone of a hunter discovering his prey is still alive, half surprised and half amused:

"You can still stand up?"

Before he finished speaking, Sirius vanished.

Without any unnecessary movements, it simply vanished into thin air and then reappeared out of nowhere in front of Etelgar, so close that it was almost touching him.

"What's so interesting about it?"

"Huh?"
