(Sigh, I apologize for not updating yesterday. I had an English exam, went to a party with classmates in the afternoon, and bought some things for my internship in the evening. I didn't get back to my dorm until after 10 pm. Also, I've been thinking about this book lately and it does have some major problems, so I'm figuring out how to improve it. But while thinking, I actually came up with the idea for another book and wrote some drafts. The new book might be released in the next few days.)

Ye Yang stood in the fitting room, having just unbuttoned the navy blue suit he was wearing, preparing to change into another one.

His fingers had just touched his collar when he suddenly stopped.

He looked up and saw his own reflection in the large floor-length mirror in front of him, but he noticed a waiter standing deep within the mirror.

He had his hands folded in front of him, wearing a white shirt and black vest provided by the mall, and a black face mask.

Ye Yang subconsciously leaned forward to try and get a better look.

Then the waiter in the mirror raised his hand, and that hand reached out from the mirror and grabbed Ye Yang's wrist.

Before Ye Yang could react, he was pulled forward and his body passed right through the mirror.

A ripple appeared on the mirror's surface before it returned to calm.

Ye Yang stumbled into a world of mirrors. He staggered a couple of steps to regain his footing, then looked up and around; mirrors were everywhere.

Some floated tilted in mid-air, some hung upside down above, and some jutted out from the ground at an angle.

His own image was reflected in each mirror, and light refracted back and forth between the mirrors.

Ye Yang's reflection in the mirror sometimes faces him directly, sometimes is turned to the side, and sometimes only half of his back is visible.

Then, all the Ye Yang reflections in the mirrors simultaneously let out a series of uneven laughs.

But the Ye Yangs in the mirror revealed a strange smile that he had never seen on his own face before.

"So you're up to this, huh?" Ye Yang stood there, twisting the wrist that had been grabbed, and said with some displeasure.

A dozen identical Ye Yangs simultaneously rushed out from mirrors on all sides.

Ye Yang dodged to the side, avoiding the first mirror image's punch, and then quickly ducked back, causing the second mirror image to miss its target above him.

His right hand reached for his waist, and the Decade Driver automatically put on the device the moment it touched his fingers.

The white base reflects a matte texture under the ethereal green light emanating from the crystal core.

With his left hand, he took the Decade Rider card from the card box, tapped the card surface lightly with his finger, and then inserted it into the slot.

Grab the handle with one hand and violently push it towards the middle.

"Henshin".

"KamenRide—Decade!"

A magenta halo exploded from the center of the belt, close to the ground.

Nine knight phantoms appeared and collapsed simultaneously. The moment the transformation was complete, a magenta dimensional shockwave spread violently outward from Decade as the center. The wave impacted the oncoming mirror images, shattering them into countless fragments like breaking glass.

The shockwave continued to push outwards, eventually crashing into the surrounding mirror walls.

The sound of the mirror shattering echoed one after another, and countless shards of glass flew through the air, each fragment reflecting the fleeting magenta light.

"Pathetic." Decade patted non-existent dust off his hands and then commented in a flat tone.

Just then, a dark figure darted out from behind the mirror wall that was half broken off behind Decade.

It was a silent beast about the size of a human, but its appearance was extremely bizarre.

Its entire body was covered with dark purple scales, from which a viscous, translucent liquid seeped, dripping onto the ground with a hissing, corrosive sound.

Its eyes are located on the sides of its head, with vertical pupils. Its mouth is like a torn slit that runs across its entire face, revealing several rows of fine, sharp teeth when it is open.

Its limbs are thin and long, with prominent bone spurs at the joints, and its claws are longer than human fingers, gleaming with a cold, eerie green light under the reflection of the mirror.

"It looks quite unique," Decade tilted his head and casually commented.

The Silent Beast let out a sharp screech, then exerted force with all four limbs, lunging at the Imperial Knight like a giant lizard.

The Imperial Knight dodged to the side, and the Silent Beast's claws grazed his shoulder armor, leaving a few fine sparks on the magenta armor.

After missing its target, it nimbly twisted its body in mid-air, and then all four claws simultaneously grabbed a mirror wall on the side that was not completely shattered.

It pressed its body against the mirror and turned to lock onto Decade once more.

At the same time, a dull metallic scraping sound came from deep within the shattered mirror directly in front of Decade.

A figure slowly emerged from the shadow of the shattered mirror.

He wore a set of dark gray half-body armor, the surface of which was pitted and covered with dents and scratches left by battle, and a pattern that had become blurred was engraved on the chest armor.

He slowly walked towards the Imperial Knight, dragging a long-handled axe in his right hand. The axe blade dragged on the ground, carving a deep furrow in the broken glass with each step.

He looked at Decade, didn't say anything harsh, but simply picked up the axe from the ground and carried it on his shoulder.

Imperial Knight chuckled lightly, then flicked his wrist, saying in a calm voice, "So you want to kill me in the Mirror World, and leave me utterly dismembered?"

The scarred man gripped the axe handle with both hands, then raised the axe to his front, and said in a hoarse voice:

"If you have someone to blame, blame yourself for meddling too much. Young Master Shen is dead, do you think that's the end of it? You shouldn't have investigated that cocoon, and you definitely shouldn't have investigated the Shen family. Someone paid to have you killed, so I'm just here to collect your body."

Decade shook his head helplessly, then said, "Let's do it then."

The Silent Beast launched the first attack.

It pushed off the mirror wall with its four limbs, and its whole body shot out like a compressed spring.

It opened its mouth and spat out a glob of dark purple slime, while simultaneously brandishing its sharp claws to strike Decade's head from the side.

Decade leaned back, the slime grazing the cross on his chest before landing on the mirror behind him with a loud corrosive sound.

He raised his foot and kicked upwards, his boot striking the beast's chin and forcing its mouth shut. At the same time, he reached out with his right hand and struck the beast's side.

The cracking sound of the shell shattering was particularly jarring in the quiet mirror world. The Silent Beast let out a painful scream and was then kicked away.

The scarred man seized the opportunity when Decade threw a punch and slashed in. His axe swept upwards from below, the blade creating a sharp whistling sound as it aimed straight for Decade's waist.

Decade withdrew his right fist, then pressed down with his left hand, using the back of his hand to deflect the axe blade, and then struck the scarred man's chest with his right palm.

The scarred man blocked with the handle of his axe, and the impact of the collision between his palm and the handle sent him back two steps.

A vicious smile crept across his lips. "Not bad. Too bad—you're all alone here. But we—are more than two."

As he finished speaking, several pairs of eerie green vertical pupils lit up in the shadow of the shattered mirror.

Several more Silent Beasts crawled out from the depths of the mirror. They were similar in appearance to the first Silent Beast, but slightly smaller in size.

They surrounded Decade from different directions, growling and gurgling in their throats, their claws scraping against the mirror with piercing shrieks.

Decade glanced around, then rotated his wrist and reached for the card case at his waist with his right hand.

"A few more sandbags are good too—perfect for warming up." He pulled a card from the card box. The red card surface danced in the red light reflected from the mirror, and the dragon emblem on the card surface glowed slightly under the magenta energy.

Outside the fitting room on the other side, Lin Xingran leaned against the display shelf. She took out her phone to check the time; almost ten minutes had passed since Ye Yang entered the fitting room.

She frowned and impatiently tapped her finger twice on the screen.

"Why are you taking so long to change clothes? Even if you have to try on two outfits, it shouldn't take this long. It's not like you're a girl picking out a dress, what's there to dawdle about?"

She shoved her phone back into her pocket and called out towards the fitting room, "Ye Yang! Are you done yet? We still need to go up to the third floor to buy that old man a graphics card!"

There was no response from inside the fitting room.

Lin Yumin was helping Ye Yang choose a tie when she heard Lin Xingran call out. Ye Yang didn't hear a response, so he gently put down the tie in his hand and walked towards the fitting room.

She knocked on the door twice, and said with some concern, "Ye Yang, are you still changing? Is the size wrong? Should I ask the clerk to bring you another size?"

There was still no answer from inside.

She knocked twice more, then her brows furrowed slightly, and a hint of alertness flashed in her dark brown eyes.

She turned to look at Lin Xingran and Lin Ying, and said in a lower voice, "Why isn't Ye Yang saying anything?"

Lin Ying and Lin Xingran also came over at this time.

Lin Xingran's impatience had turned into an inexplicable tension.

Lin Ying stood next to her, her light gray eyes fixed on the closed fitting room door.

Lin Xingran gently pushed her older sister aside, then grabbed the doorknob and called out, "Ye Yang, you didn't die in there, did you? We'll open the door if you don't say anything—"

She turned the doorknob and found that the other side was locked.

Lin Xingran frowned, then she kicked the door open with her foot.

The fitting room was empty.

The navy blue suit was draped over the back of the chair, and Ye Yang's T-shirt and jeans, which he had just changed out of, were still neatly folded and placed on the stool. Even the magenta camera on his chest was quietly placed on top of his clothes.

But he himself has disappeared.

They searched the entire fitting room thoroughly, even opening the ventilation vents overhead, but still found nothing.

Lin Ying ran to the front desk, placed her hands on the counter, and asked in a trembling voice, "Y-you—hello—excuse me—did you see the boy who came in with us just now leave?"

The receptionist was taken aback by her anxious tone. After thinking carefully, she said, "Miss, I've been here the whole time, and no one has come out of the fitting rooms. That young man you mentioned—I remember him, the one in the blue suit—he went into the fitting room and hasn't come out since. Is there a problem?"

Lin Ying turned back to look at the fitting room, her light gray eyes reflecting the large floor-length mirror.

The mirror reflected the empty fitting room and the room full of suits.

Lin Xingran stood at the doorway of the fitting room, one hand on the doorframe, scratching her head, and said in a puzzled voice, "That's strange—where did he go? He couldn't have just vanished into thin air—"

Then she suddenly stopped scratching her head and her gaze fell on the full-length mirror.

There was a very fine crack on the edge of the mirror, as if it had been shaken out from the inside by something.

At the very moment she stared at the crack, something flashed deep within the mirror.
