Zombie Apocalypse: Don't be afraid, I'm not a good person.

The mummified corpse lay there, and after only a dozen seconds, its shriveled skin suddenly began to swell.

First his belly swelled up rapidly, as if it had been inflated, then his limbs, chest, and head. In the blink of an eye, he became even fatter than before.

That's not all; round bumps began to appear all over his body, from his forehead to his toes.

The bulge was translucent and filled with a thick, green liquid, which was piling up and accumulating.

Suddenly! The corpse covered in green welts opened its eyes.

Its eyes had turned green, with no whites and no pupils. It slowly sat up from the bed and then stood unsteadily on the ground.

The fluid inside the pustules on its body swayed back and forth with its movements, and then, as if fermenting, gas appeared inside, making the pustules bulge!

It's a new type of zombie!

Alien Zombies: Firefly Corpse Puppet

Talents: Jet, Self-Destruct, Parasite

Description: A green, transparent sac that glows like fireflies at night; the green liquid contains a small number of blood mosquito eggs.

--------

Shenhe felt a chill run down his spine from the sight of the dense pustules constantly emerging from its body. He couldn't help but rub his arms and scratch his face.

Those swaying green liquids were clearly not good stuff.

The name is quite elegant, but the appearance doesn't match it!

This world is getting weirder and weirder!

Shenhe was deep in thought.

The door to the building across the street was suddenly kicked open with a loud bang.

A young man in his early twenties scrambled out, his hair a mess and his face covered in sweat.

He held a bottle of floral water in his hand, pressing the spray nozzle rapidly. White mist sprayed all over his body, including his neck, arms, and legs.

Shenhe noticed this.

On his bare right side of his neck, a green abscess the size of a billiard ball bulged out.

He had obviously been bitten by a blood mosquito, and then he ran away as fast as he could before the swarm of mosquitoes surrounded him.

"Buzz—"

Behind him, swarms of red mosquitoes flew out of the unit door and all the open windows, chasing after the young man's back.

But when the swarm of mosquitoes was still two or three meters away from him, the first few suddenly stopped, frantically flapping their wings and retreating. The blood mosquitoes behind them couldn't stop and crashed into each other, emitting a deafening buzz.

The young man looked back as he ran, and when he saw that it was working, he grinned, a hint of joy flashing in his eyes.

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

Heavy footsteps came from inside the building entrance.

Another figure rushed out.

not human.

It was a zombie covered in green pustules.

The young man heard footsteps and nervously turned around.

The moment he saw that face clearly, his steps faltered, his eyes turned red, and his expression was one of distress and fear.

"Dad! Dad! Wake up!"

He screamed desperately, his voice trembling uncontrollably, "It's me, Zixuan! It's your son, Huang Zixuan! Dad! Stop chasing me! Waaaaah!"

"roar-!"

The Firefly Corpse Puppet responded with a roar, then pounced on the young man with heavy steps, though at a considerable speed.

The young man was terrified and turned to run towards the gate of the residential area, but he hadn't run ten meters before his running speed slowed down.

"Well!"

Several bluish-green veins, like earthworms, crawled out from his chest, hidden by his clothes, spreading rapidly down his neck, across his chin, and covering his entire face.

Gradually.

His eyes were covered by a green mist, his limbs became stiff and twisted, and he made a "hoarse" sound.

Ten meters away, the Firefly Corpse Puppet also stopped.

Its belly swelled up, its head tilted back sharply, and its mouth opened wide.

"puff-!"

A jet of emerald-green liquid, as thick as a forearm, shot out of its mouth like a ray and struck the young man precisely on the back.

"Sizzle!"

His clothes were corroded, creating a large hole. When the green liquid came into contact with his skin, white smoke rose up, and his skin began to melt and spread to the sides, revealing the flesh underneath.

"Aaaaaah! It hurts...it hurts so much!"

He retained his last shred of consciousness, letting out a scream as he desperately reached behind him with both hands. His fingers were melted by the corrosive liquid as soon as they touched the wound.

The green liquid, like a living thing, burrowed into the flesh through the wound, melting the blood and flesh into a dark green liquid wherever it went.

The firefly-like corpse puppets rushed over from behind, grabbed his shoulder, and knocked him to the ground.

It lowered its head and bit down on the young man's neck, tearing fiercely. With each bite, more fluid seeped from the pustules on its body.

Just a few seconds.

The young man on the ground stopped struggling, and his body began to swell rapidly. The abscess on his neck, which was the size of a billiard ball, was now as big as a fist.

Inside the holes on its back corroded by the green liquid, hundreds of tiny white larvae were wriggling back and forth in the melting flesh, making soft squeaking sounds.

Shenhe was speechless at the new zombie's attack methods. What was this world doing? Had it gone mad?

"System check, see if the ray it's shooting can hurt me!"

Even if you're thick-skinned and not afraid, you still need to be careful. You don't want your clothes to get corroded and you'll be naked, right?

"It's useless to me, that's all that matters!"

Upon hearing that his skin was immune, Shenhe felt reassured.

He reached out and grabbed the Mk18, cocked it, rested it on his shoulder, and pressed his right eye against the scope.

The crosshair was aimed at the back of the head of the firefly corpse puppet that was still gnawing on its son.

The new variant also comes with three talents.

Kill it, and you might get a golden blind box.

"laugh!"

A flash of light shot from the muzzle, and the bullet whizzed precisely into the back of its head and exited through its forehead.

The Firefly Corpse Puppet froze, its gnawing mouth stopped in mid-air, and it fell forward on its knees.

A dazzling golden streak shot out from its corpse and flew towards the Shen River.

Shenhe smiled, a hint of joy flashing in his eyes. He'd won! He'd gotten a skill for free!

Just as he was about to put his gun away and see what he could fire this time, something unexpected happened!

The dozens of bulging green pustules on the Firefly Corpse Puppet, which had been completely still, suddenly lit up with a dazzling green light at the same time!

Shenhe's smile vanished. Oh no!

"Bang!"

The intense green light suddenly contracted forcefully, transforming into a powerful shockwave, which swept the green liquid within it in all directions!

"Holy crap! That's intense! I'd be happy if he died!"

Shenhe cursed and slammed the window shut with lightning speed. At the same time, he took two steps back and created a semi-transparent spatial barrier in front of him.

"Buzz—!"

A gust of air swept by, and the window shook slightly.

Countless green liquids splattered onto the glass and walls.

"Sizzle... sizzle..."

A piercing corrosive sound immediately rang out.

Thick white smoke immediately rose from the areas splashed with the green liquid.

The window glass was visibly riddled with small holes and dents.

Everyone in the living room was startled.
