Zombie Apocalypse: Don't be afraid, I'm not a good person.

Chapter 164 What are you doing, you stinky older sister!

Two hours slipped away, one by one.

On the sofa in the living room, Lin Xingran's fingers twitched slightly, and her long eyelashes trembled on her delicate face.

After a few seconds, she slowly opened her moist, hazy almond-shaped eyes. She rolled her eyes, her mind still a little groggy, but her thoughts were gradually returning.

Before she could fully regain her senses, a strong feeling of palpitations coursed through her body.

"what!"

Lin Xingran frowned. She had just recovered from the zombie virus infection and was still very weak.

Her heart was pounding wildly in her chest, and the suffocating panic made her feel extremely uncomfortable.

She clutched the fabric of her clothes tightly with one hand, her body curled up in a ball, panting heavily.

He couldn't help but mutter under his breath.

"Hey, you brat, what are you doing?!"

She never expected that when she woke up, she would be greeted not by her sister's concerned face, but by her sister's emotional state.

She had just thought she was about to mutate into a zombie.

Two minutes later, the sensation gradually subsided.

"Sister...Shui...Sister, where are you...?"

Her throat was so dry it felt like it was on fire, burning with pain. She swallowed hard and called out softly in a hoarse voice.

The room was quiet, and no one responded to her.

Lin Xingran propped herself up on the sofa with her elbows and slowly sat up. There was a half-empty bottle of water on the coffee table. She picked it up with longing in her eyes and unscrewed the cap.

I looked down and smelled it; there was no strange odor. Only then did I cautiously take a small sip to taste it.

After confirming it was safe, I tilted my head back and drank about half of it, then put the lid back on.

The fountain of life nourished her body, which was severely dehydrated from sweating profusely, and her condition finally improved.

She clutched her still wildly pounding heart, looking around at the unfamiliar surroundings. Was this a high-end hotel suite? Where was her sister? Her sister was still agitated!

Suddenly, a few pieces of clothing draped over the sofa opposite her caught her eye.

Judging from the style, it should be a men's item, and there was a bath towel casually tossed next to it.

She walked over, picked up the bath towel, and smelled it. It clearly smelled of her sister's usual shampoo!

Lin Xingran put down the bath towel, her face turning ugly, and a strong anger welled up in her heart.

She thought her sister had met with misfortune while trying to save her, and was probably being bullied by bad people.

She looked around and suddenly noticed the heavy-looking crystal ashtray on the coffee table.

He bent down, grabbed it in his hand, and shook it.

She looked up at the direction of the bedrooms on both sides and walked barefoot towards the bedroom closest to the sofa.

Inside the room, Shenhe glanced at the map, a playful smile creeping onto his lips.

"Hey, you've got it wrong!" Lin Zhien's voice was extremely suppressed, carrying a hint of unbearable pain.

"Was I wrong? No, I wasn't."

As soon as Lin Xingran reached the door, a familiar female voice reached her ears through the door, but she didn't recognize the other male voice!

Her face turned bright red; she was furious.

OK!

And they even have the audacity to say they made no mistake?!

She quickly reached out, wanting to turn the doorknob and rush in to save the person, but the conversation that followed made her look up at the door and freeze in place.

"Shenhe, my ice-type ability is too draining. I really can't hold on any longer. Shall we rest for a bit?"

Lin Xingran stared wide-eyed in surprise, her mouth agape in an "O" shape. What was that all about?! As if she'd been burned, she quickly withdrew her outstretched hand.

Shenhe River?

Isn't that the man's name? Is the person inside Shenhe? How did he find his way here?

No wonder my sister's voice sounds so soft.

Lin Xingran dared not linger any longer, turned around and left, tiptoeing back to the sofa to lie down.

It would be so embarrassing if I fainted at my sister's bedroom door because I was too excited and they found me.

Inside the room, Lin Zhien's long, black hair was tied in a high ponytail. She had just used her ice-type ability to its fullest extent for the first time, and her physical strength was severely depleted. A fine layer of sweat appeared on her forehead, and a few strands of hair stuck to her cheeks.

I'm so tired now I'm just lying there, completely stiff.

Her cherry-like lips were slightly parted as she breathed softly.

After resting for a while, she withdrew her arm from her waist and placed it under her face, which still had a lingering blush.

Shenhe stood beside her, his gaze fixed on the system panel. He had just personally experienced the ice-type ability.

This is indeed an extremely powerful superpower!

Although I haven't used any skill cards on Lin Zhien yet, her initial awakened freezing ability is already quite amazing.

With a thought, one can freeze targets at will, though the range is a bit short. I imagine that once I learn the skill, I'll be quite adept at clearing out zombies.

The strength he had gathered from Zhao Xinduo was now completely used up, leaving him feeling utterly refreshed.

Just as I was thinking about it, Lin Zhien crawled over.

She pulled away from his arm, snuggled into his embrace, rested her face on his strong chest, and wrapped one arm tightly around his waist. Shenhe naturally pulled her into his arms and gently patted her slender back.

Shenhe opened his palm and placed it directly in front of her.

With a spatial fluctuation, an ice-type skill card emitting a faint glow appeared out of thin air in his palm.

Although this wasn't the first time she'd seen this tactic, Lin Zhi'en's face still lit up with surprise.

She raised her head, her beautiful eyes sparkling as she gazed at Shenhe, quietly waiting for him to speak.

Shenhe felt somewhat helpless.

She has a cool and aloof personality and doesn't like to talk much. If it were Li Yuetong, she would probably be clinging to his arm and acting coquettishly right now, making all sorts of exaggerated exclamations to provide him with emotional support.

However, looking at Lin Zhien's expectant expression, she has a unique and charming appeal.

He slipped the card into her hand. "You've awakened your special ability. This is a skill card that will help you quickly master and improve the efficiency of your ice-type ability. With it, you can better protect yourself and Xingran."

Lin Zhi'en looked languid, holding the card between her two slender, beautiful fingers. She examined it curiously for a moment, then tilted her head back and asked softly, "Do you have any more?"

"Hehe, I have some, you can use it."

Shenhe gently stroked her back and chuckled softly.

He noticed that every time he gave her something, she would habitually ask, "Do you have any more?"

She's such a caring woman, but he'll only have this thing after she's used it.

Lin Zhien stared at his face for a moment, and when she was sure he wasn't lying, a wave of emotion welled up in her eyes.

She forced herself to sit up, leaned forward, and planted a kiss on Shenhe's lips, saying solemnly,

"From now on, my life belongs to you."

After snuggling back into his arms, she seemed to remember something and added, "Xingran's too."

"Yes, you are all mine."

Shenhe chuckled softly. He lowered his head slightly, his fingers running through her slightly disheveled hair, which was damp with sweat, and gently stroking it down the back of her head to behind her ear.

It felt like soothing a frightened kitten; the touch from my palm was soft and warm.

Lin Zhien didn't speak, but buried her face deeper into his chest, her ear tips turning a light red. After a moment, she nodded very slightly, tacitly agreeing.
