Zombie Apocalypse: Don't be afraid, I'm not a good person.

Chapter 249 Hmph! Just a show-off superhuman!

The zombies at the entrance were quickly cleared away by Shenhe and his team, and there were no more living zombies left on the city wall.

Shenhe's helicopter moved to a different position, just missing the steps leading up to the city. The zombies below, attracted by the engine noise, stopped climbing up the city walls and instead craned their necks to circle around the helicopter, letting out roars.

The soldiers in the plane, along with Shenhe and his men, continued firing their guns at the horde of corpses below.

The remaining zombies inside the city gate tower were quickly killed by Liu Hao and his group.

With red eyes, Liu Hao and Han Jun carried Song Haiyang at the front, followed by a group of girls, all pale-faced, covered in blood and exhausted, carrying an overwhelming sorrow, as they walked out the door step by step.

As soon as they stepped outside, they were swayed by the wind, their long hair constantly hitting their faces. Weak and powerless, they couldn't even stand steadily and ended up sitting directly on the zombie corpses.

Dozens of people, some sitting and some standing, stared blankly at the two enormous objects in the sky, lost in thought.

Their expressions varied, and it was impossible to tell what they were thinking.

Apart from Lin Miao, Li Xue, Feng Xiaoran, Liu Hao, and Han Jun, who had a good relationship with Song Haiyang.

Although the others were also sad and distressed, they were mostly overjoyed to have survived the ordeal.

They looked at the naval lettering on the plane, at the soldiers with guns, and at the zombies falling to the ground under the gun barrels.

They were thankful that they had made it through.

Liu Hao looked up at the soldiers firing from the plane, then at Song Haiyang's corpse, his voice filled with resentment.

"If they had come sooner, things might have been different in the ocean."

Han Jun frowned upon hearing this, then turned and patted his shoulder. "You can't blame anyone else. If we had stayed in the corner today, Wang Chao wouldn't have been bitten and jumped off the city wall, Lao Liu wouldn't have been dragged away by the zombies, and Xiao Qing and Xiao Wan wouldn't have been bitten to death by the zombies."

Ocean won't be killed by Fatty just because he cut off Fatty's arm. It's all fate. Everyone has their own destiny. Let nature take its course.

Han Jun's words made everyone present nod in agreement. Everyone has their own destiny; otherwise, there wouldn't be so many fortune tellers who can know a person's life through their birth date and time.

Liu Hao tilted his head and looked at Han Jun with a speechless expression. "I just didn't want to admit our mistakes. I wanted to comfort my selfishness and not really blame these soldiers. But you put on a show and gave me a lecture. But you're right, it's all fate."

Most people are like this: when something goes wrong, they first shirk responsibility, claiming they are not at fault and that everyone else is.

Han Jun grinned. "I'm afraid that if you say those things in front of those soldiers, they'll mistake you for a zombie disguised as a human and kill you."

"Holy crap, thank you so much for saving my life."

Shenhe discovered these survivors as they walked out of the city gate tower.

He was genuinely surprised; he hadn't expected there to be so many girls among the survivors.

There were more than thirty girls, all wearing soft leather armor on their upper bodies, but their lower bodies were different.

Bodycon skirts, dresses, cropped shorts, yoga pants, jeans, black and white stockings—you name it, they have it.

Pairs of long, fair legs gleamed in the sunlight. Each one exuded youthful energy.

But Shenhe only glanced at them curiously and then lost interest. They all had great figures and were quite pretty, some of them even considered school beauties.

But compared to his woman, he is far inferior, mainly in terms of skin condition and body proportions.

It's remarkable that they're still alive in an environment with so many zombies.

Shenhe and his group's plane drew attention from the zombies above, while Jiang Yan and her group's plane hovered at the city gate.

Seeing that there were no zombies on the city wall, the helicopter began the rescue operation. Two soldiers slid down the rope first, and the soldiers above threw down the rope ladder.

The two soldiers below kept watch while holding onto the rope ladder tightly to make it easier to climb.

"Hurry up! We can send ten people!"

Upon hearing that only ten people could go up, the atmosphere in the crowd immediately became chaotic. Some people looked anxious but were too embarrassed to step forward first, and they looked at each other.

Seeing their hesitation, the soldier smiled.

"Don't even think about it. Let the younger ones go first. There are still more than ten planes over there, and they can all get on."

All the girls looked at the youngest girl in their group, who was only eighteen years old and had come on a trip with her parents.

Her father turned into a zombie and bit her mother. Before her transformation, her mother pushed her father into the bedroom and went in herself. Now she is all alone.

Seeing everyone looking at her, she nodded and shakily and unsteadily climbed up the rope ladder.

Upon reaching the top, the first thing you see is a chest, and only then do you notice an extremely beautiful face on top of that chest.

The large woman extended her hand to her, her expression cold and arrogant, yet she couldn't help but reach out.

"Thank you, beautiful big sister!"

Zhang Ling'er is sweet-looking, and even sweeter-talking.

"Mmm." Jiang Yan's lips curved into a faint smile.

As Zhang Ling'er walked towards her seat, she muttered mischievously in a low voice, "What a cool older sister!"

The ten people didn't climb very fast because of the strong wind and the girls' exhaustion, but thankfully they all made it to the top.

Seagull No. 1, once full of passengers, turned around to attract zombies, and then it was Seagull No. 3's turn to pick up passengers.

Shenhe had been on a plane for half a day and was already restless. Now he had to rescue people and squeeze with a bunch of girls. He felt uncomfortable and didn't want to.

Seeing Tiger and Liu Ming slide down the rope to help, he simply stood on the edge of the cabin and stepped out.

"Holy crap—!"

Tiger and Liu Ming were halfway down the slide when they caught a glimpse of a figure falling down out of the corner of their eyes. They were startled and almost fell, cursing as they did so.

The two looked over and saw that it was Shenhe, who had landed steadily on the ground and then leaped onto the wall, leaving everyone with a proud and aloof back view.

The girls behind him stared in astonishment at his tall, straight back. Once they came to their senses, they began to chatter amongst themselves, despite their own exhaustion.

"Wow! He jumped from that high!"

"Wow, that's amazing! You seem completely unharmed!"

"Could it be one of those superhuman beings from novels, a powerful being who can manipulate zombies at will!"

"He...he's so handsome..."

"Alright, stop swooning and get up there! Aren't you tired? If you're not going up, I'll go first!"

"Okay! I'll start climbing right away, please wait a moment!"

Tiger and Liu Ming exchanged a glance, then looked at Shenhe's back with admiration. The most deadly kind of pretense is the subtle kind; look how he's captivated these girls. Impressive!

On Jiang Yan's plane, Zhang Ling'er stared at Shen He in surprise, her pink cherry lips agape.

"Hey beautiful lady, who is he? He jumped from that height and he's fine! That's amazing!"

"Hmph, just a show-off superhuman."

Jiang Yan felt disdain for Shenhe's actions. A guy with zero combat experience only knew how to attract young girls with these tricks. It was laughable!

Next second,

Jiang Yan floated out of the cabin.

"Wow! Superpowered individuals! They really exist! Hey? Pretty lady, watch out! Oh my god!"
