Wang Caidie's face lit up with joy. Men are all the same, like teddy bears, unable to move when they see a beautiful woman. But this man has a gun, so he's a good match for her. She'll secretly kill the woman next to him, and in the end, he'll be completely at her mercy.

Thinking of this, Wang Caidie's smile widened.

"Hehe, it's good that you're not angry, brother. I'll definitely follow you closely from now on and make you feel comfortable..."

"laugh!"

Before she could finish speaking, Shenhe suddenly raised his hand and fired a shot swiftly and decisively. Although Wang Caidie was very beautiful, he wouldn't be foolish enough to keep someone who wanted to kill him alive.

"Uh...why...why?!"

Wang Caidie stared at Shenhe in disbelief, looking down at her wounded abdomen. Warm blood quickly soaked through her clothes, and excruciating pain suddenly erupted.

"You're not as pretty as her, where does your confidence come from?"

Shenhe pointed at Li Yuetong, his voice piercing her heart.

"Aaaaaaahhhhh—!"

Wang Caidie looked at Li Yuetong with resentment, and her shrill scream instantly pierced the entire neighborhood!

Shenhe hit her in the stomach because he didn't want her to die quickly, but now he's annoyed by her shrill voice, which is much more penetrating than his own. It would be troublesome if it attracted zombies, especially since he wasn't at the monster-hunting spot.

He glanced at her with disgust and raised the gun.

But in the next instant, a slender little hand suddenly pressed down on his wrist, while another little hand raised a pistol.

The gun was pointed directly at Wang Caidie's head.

Li Yuetong's voice was weak, "I'll do it..."

"No! Ugh... I was wrong... I..."

Wang Caidie shook her head, clutching her stomach as she crawled backward.

"Piu!"

"Are you alright?"

Shenhe's gaze fell on Li Yuetong's trembling hands and her deathly pale face, and he asked in a low voice.

"It's alright... there has to be a first time, and I won't allow anyone to hurt Mr. Shen; they all have to die..."

Li Yuetong gently closed her eyes, suppressing the acid in her throat and the churning in her stomach. She deliberately avoided looking at Wang Caidie, whose expression was frozen at her feet. Her gaze lingered on the wound on Shenhe's neck, filled with madness.

Shenhe couldn't help but shudder at the sight.

next to.

Zhang Ran glanced at the corpse on the ground, his brows furrowing subconsciously before slowly relaxing and returning to calm.

Tang Dashan stared wide-eyed at Li Yuetong, instinctively shrinking his neck back, his chubby appearance resembling a frightened fat quail.

Shenhe turned to look at Zhang Ran, his tone somewhat scrutinizing, "What are you doing here?"

Zhang Ran met his gaze, her expression frank and serious. "The gunshots you made just now were too loud and attracted a lot of zombies. I was worried that something might happen to you, so I was thinking of coming over to lend you a hand. I happened to see her attacking you, so I chased after her all the way here."

Shenhe stared at him silently for a few seconds, a slight change in his expression, before speaking calmly, "With so many zombies, you still dare to come out? Aren't you afraid of dying?"

Zhang Ran grinned.

"Of course I'm scared of dying, that's why I've been hiding until you zombies are all gone."

Shenhe chuckled lightly, "There are no more open zombies on the street. You can wander around nearby, but be careful, as many shops still have trapped zombies inside."

Zhang Ran remained silent for a moment, then nodded knowingly.

Shenhe's words were a tacit acceptance of his kindness, and also a way of thanking him. Both of them understood this perfectly.

Shenhe cleared out the zombies on the street, so the supplies naturally belonged to him. When he said this, no one present felt there was anything wrong with it.

Shenhe and Li Yuetong walked in front, with Zhang Ran and Tang Dashan following behind.

Tang Dashan wanted to ask if he could join Shenhe and the others, but having just witnessed Li Yuetong kill someone, and seeing her eyes now making him uneasy, he opened his mouth but didn't dare to say anything.

After hesitating for a moment, he scratched the back of his head, whispered to Zhang Ran, and felt that Zhang Ran was gentler.

"Hey... buddy, wanna go find some supplies together? I'm not a bad guy, don't worry."

Zhang Ran glanced at him and saw that Tang Dashan looked honest and kind with clean and gentle eyes, showing no sign of treachery or evil intentions. He nodded slightly in agreement.

Although we don't know what Tang Dashan is thinking, most people's expressions reflect their true feelings, so we can give it a try first.

In the apocalypse, it's almost impossible to survive without a team, as not everyone has guns and that much ammunition.

Zhang Ran actually wanted to team up with Shenhe and the others, but since Shenhe didn't bring it up, he was too embarrassed to ask.

You can't just cling to someone who saved you, only to become a burden to them later. That would be like repaying kindness with enmity, what kind of idiot would that be?

"Run! There are zombies!"

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhh—!"

"Help me! Please, please help me!"

Before the four of them had even stepped out of the residential compound, they heard several piercing screams suddenly erupt from the street outside.

Tang Dashan rushed to the door and looked outside!

Several groups of people were gathered on the street, carrying large and small bags, and were rummaging through various shops for supplies.

A man was pinned to the ground by a zombie, which was tearing and gnawing at his flesh.

"Holy crap! These shameless thieves! Our leader hasn't even gone to get the supplies yet, and they've already started looting! They're all thieves!"

Enraged, Tang Dashan charged into the street, yelling and cursing as he ran.

"Hey! Who gave you permission to take things without permission! Where were you when we were killing zombies?!"

Although he didn't come out, he didn't steal anything either.

Suddenly, with a series of cracking sounds, a man was violently pounced out of the noodle shop by a zombie, his body smashing through the glass door and falling to the ground.

Immediately afterwards, several more zombies sprang out of the store and began frantically devouring the man who had fallen to the ground and was spitting blood.

The street instantly descended into chaos. Someone screamed in fright, which drew the attention of the zombies who were eating. The zombies immediately got up and roared as they chased after the group.

In the chaos, several zombies suddenly sprang out from the other two shops that had been pried open, knocking several people down on the spot.

Tang Dashan was so frightened that he dared not shout anymore and shrank back to Shenhe's side.

Zhang Ran quickly approached, gripping the self-made spear in his hand, his face full of vigilance as he surveyed his surroundings.

A man being chased by three zombies saw Shenhe and his group coming out of the residential area. His fear immediately turned into joy. He ran towards them as fast as he could without caring about the consequences of his actions.

The man was clutching two large bags of supplies tightly in his hands. The heavy bags were clearly slowing down his running speed, but he refused to let go no matter what.

"Help! Kill them!"

"Hurry! Shoot! I can't run anymore!"

He was carrying two large bags of supplies, which contained beer and half a pig that he had found in a restaurant.

Once he throws it away, the zombies are no match for an ordinary person running at full speed.

Tang Dashan looked at him like he was an idiot, and seeing him leading the zombies this way, he couldn't help but shout, "Don't you fucking run this way! Throw your stuff away!"

The man was about twenty meters away from them. Hearing Tang Dashan's words, a hint of hesitation flashed across his face, but he still rushed over.

Seeing that Shenhe and the others had no intention of firing their guns to help, and with the roars of the zombies behind them getting closer and closer, the man's face instantly turned ferocious, and he started cursing at Shenhe.

"Go ahead and fucking shoot!"

"How could you just stand by and watch me die! I'll fucking kill you!"

"You'll get your comeuppance! You son of a bitch!"

Tang Dashan yelled back, "Save your ass! We owe you! You could have just thrown your stuff away and run away, you big idiot! You bitch! Fuck your mother!"
