I'm in Detective Conan, and I start with the Grand Theft Auto system.

Chapter 207 I admire you guys, I'll give you guns for free!

Lin Shen drove his black sedan smoothly away from Mihua Department Store, heading west along the streets at night.

Soft music was playing inside the car, creating an atmosphere that was completely different from the firefight that had just taken place.

The four children sat in the car, still not fully recovered from the explosion and gunfight.

They all seemed to have their souls ripped out, sitting quietly in the back seat without saying a word.

Just then, Lin Shen, with one hand on the steering wheel, slowly reached into his coat pocket with the other and pulled out a small black remote control.

He didn't even glance at the remote control; he simply pressed the red button on it.

Conan caught a glimpse of that movement out of the corner of his eye, and his back instantly tensed.

Before he could even ask what it was, a series of deafening explosions suddenly erupted in the night behind him.

Boom! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The explosion came from the direction of Mihua Department Store, making the car windows vibrate.

Conan suddenly turned his head and saw that the department store, which had been brightly lit just moments before, was now spewing flames from all the windows from the sixth floor upwards!

Thick black smoke, accompanied by orange-red flames, shot into the sky, and shards of glass rained down from the heavens, illuminating the entire street.

The explosions came one after another, like a thousand firecrackers exploding in succession inside the building.

The four children in the car all trembled with fright.

Mitsuhiko nearly jumped out of his seat, Genta instinctively covered his ears, and Ayumi covered her mouth, her eyes wide open.

Conan slowly turned his head and looked at Lin Shen, his eyes filled with shock, confusion and an indescribable complex emotion.

He remained silent for several seconds before speaking, his voice somewhat hoarse: "President Lin... was it really necessary to go this far?"

Lin Shen still held the steering wheel with one hand, his gaze calmly fixed on the road ahead, his tone completely unwavering: "Of course it's necessary."

He put the remote control back in his pocket and chuckled:

"Remember this: if you ever accidentally commit any illegal or criminal acts in the future, be sure to thoroughly destroy the crime scene."

"Nothing is more useful than fire."

His tone was as calm as a teacher explaining a point of knowledge in class: "Once a fire starts, you can find fingerprints, footprints, DNA, surveillance records, and so on."

"Ninety-nine percent of the evidence and clues were burned to ashes."

"It saves time and effort, and avoids a lot of trouble later on."

Conan watched him earnestly explaining "crime aftermath handling techniques" and felt a throbbing in his temples.

He took a deep breath, then exhaled forcefully, his tone carrying a mixture of helplessness and determination:

"President!! We don't need to learn this kind of thing now, and we don't plan to learn it in the future."

Hearing this, Lin Shen chuckled, a laugh that carried a hint of "young man, you're still too naive": "That's hard to say."

"Given the way the four of you are, where trouble seems to follow you wherever you go, you might actually come in handy someday."

"Learning another skill is never a bad thing."

Conan, too lazy to argue with Lin Shen any longer, simply turned his head, looked at his three friends in the back row, and warned them sternly:

"What President Lin just said was all nonsense. Don't take it to heart, and don't follow his example, understand?"

Before Ayumi and Genta could express their opinions, Lin Shen spoke first.

He joked, "Conan, that's a hurtful thing to say."

"I'm your savior, after all. Your attitude is not right."

Conan retorted without backing down: "Having someone save your life is one thing, but preventing you from dragging them down with you is another!"

Lin Shen wasn't angry. Instead, he flashed a self-righteous smile, gripped the steering wheel with one hand, drew a circle in the air with the other, and said confidently:

"Conan, you need to understand one thing: weapons are just tools; they are neither good nor bad."

"What's the key point?"

He paused, then pointed to his chest: "The one who used this tool!"

As he spoke, he turned his head, his gaze falling on the three children in the back row. His tone suddenly softened considerably, carrying a sense of appreciation from an elder:

"I think you three kids did a fantastic job tonight!"

"Faced with so many armed robbers, he not only remained calm and fearless, but also adhered to his principles: no killing, no reckless actions!"

"Kids as kind and brave as you are becoming increasingly rare these days."

"I admire you all!"

As Conan listened, his heart skipped a beat, and cold sweat began to break out on his back.

He knew Lin Shen too well; whenever this guy praised someone, it was never anything good.

as predicted!

Lin Shen had barely finished speaking when he changed the subject: "Well then, I don't have much else, but I have a lot of guns at home!"

"What if your Junior Detective Club goes on adventures in castles, wilderness adventures, or escape rooms in abandoned hospitals in the future?"

"You can come to me anytime. I can equip you with rifles, submachine guns, sniper rifles, grenades, and smoke grenades."

"I promise you'll always be safe and happy when you go out, so Mom won't have to worry anymore!"

Conan shouted almost as soon as he finished speaking, "We don't need it! We really don't need it!!"

However, the three people in the back row had already started to explode.

"Really? You're not kidding us, are you?" Mitsuhiko leaned halfway out from the back seat, his eyes shining with excitement.

"President Lin, are you serious? That's great! I've wanted an AWM for ages!"

Genta also came over, his face beaming with a silly excitement, practically drooling: "Could you get me a Gatling gun too? The kind that shoots blue flames!"

Ayumi, unusually, couldn't stay quiet either. She interlaced her fingers and whispered expectantly, "Then...I want a pretty pink toy gun...is that okay?"

"Of course! We have them all!" Lin Shen agreed with a smile as he drove, his tone full of generosity and indulgence.

"AWM, right? Gatling gun, right? Pink pistol, right? No problem, I'll arrange it for you tomorrow."

After he finished speaking, he glanced meaningfully towards the passenger seat, where he met Conan's face, which was contorted with rage.

He raised an eyebrow slightly, a smug smile playing on his lips, his eyes clearly saying—you little brat, you think you can mess with me? Do you even have the right?

Conan was completely speechless.

He felt a tightness in his chest, so tight that he felt like he was about to ascend to heaven.

He looked at the three friends in the back row who were already blinded by Lin Shen's "great weapon perks".

Watching them chatter away about which gun to choose, how many bullets to bring, and how many grenades to take on their next adventure, I felt my blood pressure visibly rising.

He really regretted it.

He regretted making that phone call tonight.

He regretted asking Lin Shen for help!

He would rather hide in the fire escape with the Junior Detective Club and wait for the police to arrive, even if it meant waiting for an extra hour!

It's better than being relentlessly attacked by this demon, who has even led my child astray!

Conan silently vowed in his heart: if anything happens again, he will never ask Lin Shen for help again, even if it kills him.

Absolutely not! Absolutely not!!!
