I'm in Detective Conan, and I start with the Grand Theft Auto system.

Chapter 210 Conan: With a gun in hand, he really speaks with confidence!

Ran watched Sonoko's departing figure and sighed, "Sonoko is so busy... She goes to all sorts of tutoring classes almost every day. She seems more tired than a high school student."

Lin Shen nodded, his gaze still fixed on the now-empty sidewalk by the door: "What can you do? They're a big and powerful family."

"As the second daughter of the Suzuki Group, there's a ton of things to learn from a young age, and she'll be constantly socializing in the future, so she has no choice but to learn."

As he spoke, he walked to the entrance of the coffee shop, reached out and flipped over the sign hanging on the door, indicating that the shop was temporarily closed.

Then he turned to look at Xiaolan, slightly raised his chin towards the lounge, and said, "Come on, I'll take you in to see a classic romance movie. I guarantee you'll cry!"

Xiao Lan's curiosity was immediately piqued.

She put down her textbook, jumped off the bar stool, and quickly followed Lin Shen, her tone filled with undisguised curiosity:

"I'm really curious... what movie did Sonoko watch that made her cry like that?"

Her tone carried a hint of defiance, "I consider myself to be quite sensitive to tears; most movies can't move me."

Lin Shen didn't reply, but merely gave a noncommittal smile.

The door to the lounge was pushed open.

The lights were dimmed as usual, with only the television screen lit up.

Lin Shen sat on the sofa and patted the spot next to him.

Xiaolan hesitated for a moment, then sat down, keeping about a fist's distance between them. The movie began.

When Xiaolan saw the opening credits, she raised an eyebrow slightly. Titanic?

Oh...it really is a classic tearjerker.

She had watched it several times before. It was good, but surely not good enough to make her cry buckets? She sat there and watched it very attentively.

The first time Jack took Rose to dance in third class, the two of them stood at the bow of the ship with their arms outstretched in the sea breeze, and there was that line, "You jump, I jump." These were all quite touching, but Xiaolan felt that she could still handle it.

However, as she looked around, she gradually sensed that something was wrong.

"President, you... don't put your hands around like that."

"President, you...you should concentrate on watching the movie~~"

"If you do anything reckless again... I'll... I'll... Waaah..."

“…………”

The melody of "My Heart Will Go On" played on the screen, and the melodious singing flowed through the room.

But Xiaolan had no energy left to pay attention to that movie.

At that moment, only one thought remained in her mind: she finally understood why Sonoko always cried after watching this movie.

Fumiyo Edogawa drove a black sedan, taking Conan through less populated areas of Beika Town, and finally stopped in an old, crumbling neighborhood.

She got out of the car, pushed open the door of a dilapidated two-story building, and gestured for Conan to go inside.

The room was dimly lit and had a musty smell.

A tall man wearing a black mask and a black trench coat stood in the center of the living room. Seeing Conan enter, he gave a sinister laugh.

"Shinichi Kudo, you're a smart man. You know how to cooperate with us, which saves us a lot of effort."

Conan walked into the house with his schoolbag on his back, glanced around, and finally his eyes landed on the masked man.

He showed little panic and calmly said, "You already know who I am..."

He frowned and asked, "I thought I hid it quite well, how did you manage to find out about me?"

As he spoke, he turned his back, seemingly to adjust the straps of his backpack, but in reality, he quietly unzipped the inner compartment of his backpack.

Fumiyo Edogawa closed the door, her chubby, amiable smile on her face: "You certainly hid it well, but you overlooked one thing."

"You disappeared, but your body was never found, and there was never any news report about your death."

"Shinichi Kudo seems to have vanished into thin air, neither alive nor dead. This just doesn't make sense, does it?"

The masked man picked up the conversation, saying, "What's even stranger is that after you disappeared, that previously unknown Kogoro Mouri suddenly became famous."

"A bumbling detective who hadn't achieved much in over a decade suddenly had a meteoric rise in deductive reasoning skills, and could easily solve cases wherever he went."

"Such unusual things can always be uncovered if you put your mind to it."

He paused for a moment, then continued, "And then we discovered the real secret of the sleeping Kogoro."

After listening, Conan sighed and had to admit defeat: "You even noticed such details... It seems I really underestimated you guys."

The masked man chuckled, his deep voice sounding particularly smug in the empty room: "If we don't even have this much skill, then we might as well not exist."

"Shinichi Kudo, you're a smart man. I advise you to be honest and cooperate with our experiment."

"If we're lucky, we might even make it back alive."

When Conan heard this, the corners of his mouth suddenly curled up.

He shook his head and said regretfully, "Going with you? I'm afraid that's not an option."

Fumiyo Edogawa narrowed her eyes, a dangerous glint in her voice: "Oh? Why?"

The next second, Conan turned around abruptly, the pistol in his hand already pointed steadily at Fumiyo Edogawa's chest.

He gripped the gun with both hands, his posture less than standard, but his imposing presence was undeniable, and when he spoke, his voice carried an unprecedented firmness:

"Because you can't take me with you."

His heart was racing, but his excitement far outweighed his fear!

His words just now weren't said in vain; the tactic of stalling for time, though old-fashioned, is indeed effective.

While the two were showing off their deduction skills, Conan had already quietly taken out his pistol from the inner pocket of his backpack.

At that moment, he suddenly understood Lin Shen's feelings when he said those words!

Having a gun makes him really tough!

Fumiyo Edogawa and the masked man both froze as they watched Conan suddenly raise his gun.

The air froze for about two seconds.

Then the masked man laughed, a laugh tinged with disdain: "Hahaha, brat, you think that toy gun can scare me?"

As he spoke, he reached for his waist casually, clearly not taking the "toy" seriously.

Conan watched his movements, though he still didn't want to fire the shot.

But he's not stupid. You can't just stand by and watch the other person pull out a real weapon and aim it at you, can you?

He pulled the trigger!

With a bang.

The bullet pierced the masked man's shoulder with pinpoint accuracy.

The force pulled him backward, and he let out a heart-wrenching scream: "Agh!!"

He clutched his bleeding shoulder, staggered, and leaned against the wall, too pained to speak.

Fumiyo Edogawa, standing nearby, was dumbfounded, her jaw nearly dislocated.

She stared intently at the gun in Conan's hand, her voice trembling: "Huh?! What! This is a real gun?!"

Conan quickly turned the gun towards her, his voice cold and hard: "I said don't move! If you dare to move again, I can't guarantee where the next shot will hit."

His voice carried a force that was completely out of character for a child.

The masked man clutched his shoulder, sweating profusely from the pain, and could no longer maintain his aloof demeanor.

His tone shifted dramatically from panic to relief: "Stop! Stop! Stop!! I'm done playing!! Shin-chan, don't shoot! I'm your dad!"

Upon hearing this, Conan's head buzzed: "...Huh?"

He stared blankly at the masked man, then glanced at Fumiyo Edogawa, completely unable to react.

Fumiyo Edogawa panicked as well, seeing the increasing amount of blood seeping from the masked man's shoulder, and could no longer continue the act.

She quickly ripped off her wig and the chubby fake face, revealing a delicate and beautiful real face, and her voice returned to its original tone:

"Shin-chan! It's me! It's your mom! Don't shoot! We were just kidding!"

Conan stared at that face that was all too familiar—Yukiko Kudo—and his brain went completely blank.

He froze for several seconds, then turned to look at the masked man who was crouching on the ground in pain.

The masked man used his other hand to grin and remove his mask, revealing a familiar face: Kudo Yusaku.

Conan stood frozen in place as if struck by lightning, his mouth opening and closing repeatedly before he finally managed to stammer out, "...Mom? You...are you really Mom? Then...then you..."

He pointed to Yusaku Kudo on the ground, "Dad?"

Yusaku Kudo clutched his bleeding shoulder, his face contorted in pain, tears welling in his eyes. "That's right... ugh... it was me... ah... it hurts so much..."

Conan looked at his parents, then at the still-smoking gun in his hand. His face slowly went from shock to speechlessness, before he finally managed to stammer, "...You deserved it!!"
