Tetsuji Tomizawa has been very busy lately.

After getting the hundred or so Gatling guns from Lin Shen, he felt it wasn't enough.

This guy directly imported another hundred RPGs from Lin Shen, completing his equipment setup. Then, with a wave of his hand, he began recruiting mercenaries.

If you pay enough, people will come faster.

A few days later, a team of retired special forces soldiers completed their assembly, were fully equipped, and were ready to go.

Without wasting any words, Tomizawa Tetsuji threw them a list: "These are the people. Beat them to death."

As a result, several gunfights broke out overnight near Tokyo Bay, and several CIA hideouts in Tokyo were raided, resulting in numerous deaths.

This is just outrageous no matter how you look at it.

A Tokyo tycoon dared to target the US secret police; such a thing was unheard of before!

However, to be fair, the CIA is indeed in the wrong.

Who told them to disregard martial ethics and try to kidnap Tomizawa Tetsuji, and even kill the successor Tomizawa Tetsuji had chosen?

No matter how you look at it, the truth is on Tomizawa Tetsuji's side.

Of course, reason alone cannot win a war. More importantly, there are a few CIA personnel who have long been bribed by Tetsuji Tomizawa.

Money paves the way, intelligence is readily available, and Gatling guns and RPGs are plentiful.

The battle was going very smoothly for Tetsuji Tomizawa.

Meanwhile, many in Tokyo's wealthy circles have chosen to side with Tetsuji Tomizawa.

The reason is simple: everyone is afraid.

If the CIA can kill Tomizawa Tetsuji's son today, will they kill my son tomorrow?

If they can break into the Suzuki family today, will they dare to break into my house tomorrow?

As this fear spread, the entire circle of the wealthy became tense.

Not to mention that Tomizawa Tetsuji also had dealings with the Black Organization. Although the Black Organization did not directly participate, it secretly provided a lot of convenience.

Tokyo suddenly became incredibly lively.

During the day it seemed normal, but at night, the gunshots went off like firecrackers.

The sounds of Gatling gun fire and RPG explosions became the background noise of Tokyo's nightlife.

The news reports every day: "Gunfight broke out in Beika Town last night," "Another explosion occurred in the port area," "A warehouse in Meguro Ward was destroyed by an explosion"...

The sounds of explosions in Tokyo continued unabated.

Inside Cafe 221B, a television news report was broadcasting a story about a large-scale conflict in Toto Minato Ward.

The image shows charred car wreckage and shattered glass scattered on the ground.

Xiaolan sat on the sofa, watching the images of billowing smoke on the television, and sighed worriedly, "Sigh... why is there another shooting?"

"It seems like the safety situation in Tokyo is getting worse lately?"

Lin Shen, sitting on the other side with a cup of coffee in his hand, listened to this and echoed without changing his expression, "Yes!"

"If you don't have anything important to do lately, it's best not to go out and about."

Conan sat on the chair next to Lin Shen and silently rolled his eyes at him.

Even a fool could tell that all this mess in Tokyo was probably related to this guy!

Gatling guns, RPGs...aren't these the things Lin Shen often uses for his antics?

This guy actually sold weapons to Tetsuji Tomizawa!!

But he had no evidence and couldn't say a word.

Conan could only suppress his curiosity and sit there staring blankly.

He is now particularly eager to know who is fighting whom, how the fight went, and how it will develop in the future.

Unfortunately, his intelligence network was limited, and he couldn't get to the core of the problem no matter what he tried, leaving him itching with curiosity.

Just then, Xiaolan suddenly spoke up: "President Lin, I'd like to take my parents to the beach in Izu for a vacation this weekend!"

She took out her phone, checked her bank balance, and felt much more confident.

She had recently saved a lot of money working at a coffee shop, and with the occasional red envelopes and bonuses from Lin Shen, her pockets were bulging.

She figured that now that she was all grown up, it was time to repay her parents for all the years they had taken such good care of her, and maybe... also set them up!

Lin Shen smiled and nodded, "That's a good thing! It's good to go out and relax occasionally; you can't work every day, can you?"

Ran happily picked up her phone, ready to call her mother, Eri.

Before she could even dial, the door was pushed open, and Eri Kisaki walked in carrying a briefcase.

She seemed to have overheard the conversation and smiled slightly, "Okay, it's so kind of you, Xiaolan. I'll cancel my work for that day."

She walked in, her gaze sweeping around the private room before finally settling on Lin Shen and Conan. "President Lin, Conan, why don't you come along too? It'll be more lively with more people."

Conan froze.

Xiaolan was also a little surprised and hurriedly said, "Mom, this...this is our family trip..."

Eri Kisaki turned her head and smiled at Ran: "It would be so boring if just the three of us went."

"Every year it's the same: a meal, a stroll on the beach, a few photos, and that's it. So boring!"

"We can't even get enough people to play beach volleyball."

"It's rare to go out like this, so it's more fun with lots of people."

Ran opened her mouth, unable to find a rebuttal, and looked at Lin Shen and Conan: "So, are you free?"

She asked if she was free, but her tone and expression conveyed one thing—you'd better not be free!

Conan has no intention of getting involved in Ran's family affairs.

He quickly made an excuse: "I...I probably can't go. I made plans to go to tutoring with Ayumi and the others this weekend!"

"I'm sorry, I can't go!!"

Lin Shen was originally planning to make up an excuse to refuse, but Eri Kisaki casually said, "President, why don't you come along too?"

"Perfect timing, I have some work-related matters to report to you."

The word "report" was used in a light tone, but the meaning was clear: if you don't come, work-related matters will have to be reported on Saturday; you can't escape it anyway.

Lin Shen's lips twitched. After weighing the options, he decided to be sensible and not offend his finance minister.

He could only nod: "...Alright, I'm quite free, let's go together."

Eri nodded in satisfaction, then turned to Ran and said, "Alright, Ran, let's go have dinner together and pick out a resort hotel while we're at it."

"Mom knows you've made a lot of money lately, so I won't hold back this time."

As she spoke, she picked up her bag and walked towards the door, giving Xiaolan no chance to complain to Lin Shen.

Ran opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but Eri's words, "Hurry up, I'm hungry," shut her up.

She had no choice but to obediently change her clothes and be pulled out of the coffee shop by Eri Kisaki.

After the door closed, the coffee shop became quiet.

Lin Shen leaned back on the sofa, slowly took a sip of coffee, glanced at the door, and said with a smile, "Xiao Lan is indeed no match for her mother."

Conan pushed up his glasses and hummed in agreement.

He also breathed a sigh of relief, realizing he wouldn't have to suffer along with them!

He quickly said to Lin Shen, "President Lin, could you tell me... what's been happening lately?"

Lin Shen didn't hide anything and told them about the conflict between Tomizawa Tetsuji and the CIA.

Conan's eyes lit up; he finally had something to do this weekend!
