I'm in Detective Conan, and I start with the Grand Theft Auto system.

Chapter 33 What a crappy mission! I thought it would be much harder.

While the two bodyguards were focused on Fujie Akiyoshi, Lin Shen, sitting astride a black motorcycle in an alley about two hundred meters away from the entrance, watched everything happening at the club entrance from behind his helmet visor.

The departure of those two bodyguards created a gap in the defense.

Lin Shen twisted the accelerator, and the engine roared up suddenly, like a wild beast that had been released from its reins.

The motorcycle suddenly shot out of the alley, turning into a black lightning bolt on the empty road, heading straight for the clubhouse entrance.

The moment the bodyguard at the door looked up upon hearing the engine, it was too late!

The motorcycle sped past Hiroyuki Nagai, leaving no time for anyone to react.

In the fraction of a second that the motorcycle brushed past Hiroyuki Nagai, Lin Shen flicked his right hand.

A black, palm-sized C4 bomb traced a short arc through the air and landed precisely at Nagai Hiroyuki's feet.

When the bodyguards saw the beeping square on the ground, their minds went blank.

C4—that's C4!

This isn't an ordinary grenade; it's something that can blow up half a floor of a building!

Reason prevailed over professional ethics in a fraction of a second.

The two bodyguards who were closest to each other froze on the spot and instinctively lunged out in the opposite direction;

The other two bodyguards, standing a little further away, didn't hesitate at all; they turned and ran without even looking back.

As for the bodyguard who was lecturing Fujie Akiyoshi, upon hearing the familiar, death-sent-sounding alarm behind him, he almost reflexively released his grip on Fujie Akiyoshi's collar and rushed towards the flowerbed across the street without looking back.

Hiroyuki Nagai stood next to the C4, as if he had been nailed to the spot, his face filled with disbelief and fear.

Then—BOOM!

The enormous fireball engulfed everything within a radius of several meters.

The ground trembled, the shockwave rattled the bronze lamps at the entrance of the club, and shattered the glass doors under the porch, scattering countless tiny flashes of light across the floor.

Before the madam could even scream, she and Hiroyuki Nagai were completely engulfed by the flames.

The blast wave shattered the windows of several nearby cars, and sirens blared incessantly, creating a piercing symphony in the night sky.

Across the street, Fujie Akiyoshi was thrown to the ground by the shockwave, his ears ringing, and it took him a long time to get up.

He turned around and saw the charred, unrecognizable crater at the entrance of the clubhouse, burning brightly. He froze for two seconds, then couldn't help but spit out a curse: "Holy shit... that's insane..."

He covered his still-bleeding forehead, turned and ran!

But he had only run less than twenty meters when he heard a series of hurried footsteps behind him.

The two bodyguards who had been lying on the back of the flowerbed had gotten up.

They were professionals after all, and after a brief moment of surprise, they quickly snapped back to reality.

They glanced at the still-smoking pickup truck, then at the direction Fujie Akira had fled, and instantly understood!

The driver deliberately caused the crash; he was a decoy used to attract attention.

"Grab him! Don't let him get away!"

The two bodyguards took off after him.

Hearing the shouts behind him, Fujie Akiyoshi was terrified and ran forward as fast as he could.

But how could an ordinary person outrun a professionally trained bodyguard?

He had run less than 100 meters when one of his bodyguards tackled him from behind, knocking him face down onto the concrete ground, causing blood to gush from his nose.

Immediately afterwards, another bodyguard arrived, stepped on his back, and twisted his hands behind his back, causing him to scream in pain.

The two men dragged him back to a back alley next to the clubhouse like a dead dog.

The lights were dim, and the ground was covered in oil and water.

The two bodyguards exchanged a glance, then began to act.

A punch landed on his stomach, causing him to curl up like a shrimp; then a kick landed on his ribs with a dull thud.

Fujie Akiyoshi was in so much pain that tears streamed down his face, and he cowered on the ground, begging for mercy.

A bodyguard crouched down, grabbed his hair, lifted his face, and asked coldly, "Who sent you?"

"I...I don't know what you're talking about..." Fujie Akiyoshi said stubbornly.

Then he heard a crisp "crack" from his right index finger, followed by a sharp pain that seemed to explode from deep within his bones and shot straight to the top of his head.

"Ah—!!!" His scream echoed several times in the narrow back alley.

"Who sent you?" The same question, but with an even colder tone.

Fujie Akiyoshi's defenses completely collapsed.

He was trembling with pain, tears and snot streaming down his face, his voice trembling and choked with sobs: "I'll talk! I'll talk!! It was a short-haired young man... very handsome!"

"He made me do this! He said he'd give me a sum of money after it was done... I really don't know who he is!! I don't even know his name!!"

Lin Shen crouched in the shadows, one hand pressing on his earphone.

He overheard the entire conversation through the listening device on Fujie Akiyoshi's body.

He was silent for a few seconds, then slowly exhaled and shook his head.

In the original storyline, this person was even capable of committing suicide and framing someone else.

The fearless man thought he could at least hold out for a few minutes.

And what happened? He confessed everything after losing a finger.

Not only did she confess, but she also described the employer's physical characteristics in great detail!

Lin Shen immediately realized that he had misjudged the situation!

Being unafraid of death doesn't mean being unafraid of pain!

He mentally crossed out Fujie Akiyoshi.

Lin Shen got back on his motorcycle, started the engine, and drove around in the night, eventually returning to the entrance of the back alley.

He didn't slow down, but twisted the throttle to its limit, and the motorcycle shot into the alley like an arrow.

The two bodyguards in the alley immediately became alert upon hearing the engine sound approaching.

One of the bodyguards reacted extremely quickly, drawing his pistol the instant he saw the black motorcycle appear at the alley entrance and firing two shots.

boom!boom!

The bullet grazed Lin Shen's helmet and struck the wall of the back alley, knocking down two pieces of brick.

But Lin Shen didn't rush over as they expected.

At the last moment before entering the alley, he suddenly pressed down on the handlebars, jumping off the motorcycle sideways. The instant his feet touched the ground, he rolled forward, landing on his shoulders. He rolled more than a dozen times on the rough cement ground, his clothes rustling as they were rubbed together, until he finally stopped after crashing into a few empty wooden crates piled up at the end of the alley.

Although he was covered in dust and dirt, he was not hit by any bullets.

The motorcycle, having lost control, continued to slide forward due to inertia.

The car's side scraped against the ground, leaving a long trail of blinding sparks that were particularly conspicuous in the dim alley, as it slid straight toward the two bodyguards and the slumped Fujie Akiyoshi.

The two bodyguards instinctively dodged to the side.

But when they could see clearly what was tied to the side of the motorcycle by the sparks from the friction, their pupils suddenly contracted!

The small black square, taped to the sides of the rear wheel and in the gaps of the frame, was emitting a faint electronic buzzing sound.

That's C4.

And there's more than one!!

"Damn! Where did this guy get so much C4?" one of the bodyguards blurted out a curse filled with despair and anger.

Then the two of them turned around almost simultaneously and ran desperately out of the alley.

But it was too late.

boom--!!

C4 detonated at almost the same moment.

The explosion illuminated the entire back alley as if it were daytime, and the shockwave, carrying rubble and metal fragments, sprayed out in all directions.

The two bodyguards were thrown to the ground by the blast wave as soon as they reached the alley entrance, their backs mangled and bloodied by flying shards.

Fujie Akiyoshi—he didn't even have time to get up from the ground before he was completely engulfed by the flames.

Lin Shen stood up from behind the pile of wooden crates and patted the dust and grit off his clothes.

He glanced at the raging fire in the alley, his expression calm, his eyes showing neither anger nor pity.

He entered the cheat code again, and a brand-new black motorcycle appeared out of thin air on the side of the road at the alley entrance.

He got into his car, twisted the accelerator, and drove away from the scene without looking back.

The night wind whistled past his helmet.

He thought to himself: What a stupid mission. I thought it would be really difficult.

Defense Ministry officials? Professional bodyguards? That's it?

He handled it all by himself!!
