The ticket inspector's face turned pale instantly. He took a step back, his lips trembled, and he almost dropped the ticket tongs in his hand.

"No...no need, thank you for disturbing me."

He lowered his head, intending to walk around the man to check the next row.

Chen Hongwu made a move.

He raised his right hand from his knee, spread his fingers, and wedged his thumb and forefinger at the connection between the barrel and the gun body, then lowered his wrist.

This sinking motion uses the "sinking force" of Baguazhang, with the force falling from the Jianjing acupoint, making the entire arm feel like it's being weighed down by a hundred-pound weight.

The force was transmitted to the fingertips, the thumb and forefinger snapped inward, and the tiger's mouth gripped the gun barrel and twisted it outward.

"Snap!"

The gun barrel rotated ninety degrees.

The man's finger was still on the trigger guard when his wrist was twisted, causing his entire arm to tilt and the bones to make a dull thud in the joint.

"what!"

He screamed in pain, and his fingers involuntarily loosened.

Chen Hongwu simultaneously extended his left hand, gripping the gun barrel with his five fingers. With a quick twist of his hands, the Mauser pistol changed hands.

Before the man could react, Chen Hongwu had already released the gun with his right hand and stood up from his seat.

He stood up slowly, but his movements were fluid. From the coccyx to the Mingmen point, and from the Mingmen point to the Dazhui point, his spine straightened like a whip, section by section, and his whole body transformed from "sitting like a mountain" to "standing like a pine tree."

The moment he stood up, he took a half step forward with his right foot, his foot sliding out along the ground, his knee slamming into the man's inner thigh. The force traveled from his knee into the man's quadriceps, and the man's leg went numb instantly, leaving half of his body without feeling.

Chen Hongwu grabbed the man's collar with his left hand and supported his waist and hips with his right hand, exerting force with both hands at the same time.

This move uses the "Cai Lie Jin" technique from Tai Chi. Cai means pulling downwards, and Lie means swinging outwards. The hands move up and down, inwards and outwards, with the force bursting from the dantian, traveling along the spine to the shoulders and back, and then from the shoulders and back to the arms.

Using the force of pushing off the ground with both feet, twisting the waist and hips, the whole body twisted into a rope, and pulled a strong man weighing 150 or 160 pounds off the seat like pulling a radish.

Before the man could even understand what was happening, his body was already airborne.

Chen Hongwu took a step forward with his right foot, turned his body halfway around, pushed his left hand forward, and used his right hand to support his waist and hips, pushing him out of the window.

His movements were clean and crisp, without any fancy tricks. It was just the most basic stepping and pushing palm technique in Chinese martial arts, except that he replaced the palm with a support and changed the direction of the push from the front to the side window.

The man was thrown out of the car window.

The windows of the trains in the Republic of China era were sliding windows. When Chen Hongwu stood up, he casually reached out his left hand and pushed the window open.

"Ah~!"

With a scream that had gone awry, the man flew sideways out of the car window, tumbled in the air, and crashed heavily onto the gravel floor of the platform.

The man fell onto the platform and rolled three times before stopping. The train was picking up speed to leave the station, so the fall wasn't too bad. He lay there stunned for a full three seconds before slowly pushing himself up from the ground.

He stood on the platform, covered in dust, with two bloody marks on his face from being pebble-stabbed, and a tear in his trouser leg.

He looked down at himself, then looked up at the slowly moving train, and chased after it, cursing loudly.

"You bastard! You—you motherfucker—"

He ran while cursing, chasing the tail of the train for more than ten steps.

The train was going faster and faster, and he couldn't keep up. He bent over, panting heavily, and waved his fist at the departing train, his curses being swallowed up by the roar of the rails.

The carriage was silent for a moment.

Then came the sound of train wheels rolling over the rails, "Clang, clang! Clang, clang!"

The train has already left the station.

Chen Hongwu closed the window, sat back down, placed the pistol on his lap, and peeked into the magazine with his thumb.

Full.

He pushed the magazine back, placed the gun down beside his legs, leaned back in the chair, hunched his shoulders and straightened his back, focusing his energy in his lower abdomen, in the exact same posture as when he first sat down.

The ticket inspector stood in the aisle, ticket clamps raised in mid-air, as if he were nailed to the spot.

His mouth opened and closed repeatedly, his face turning pale and then red, and he couldn't utter a single word for a long time.

The young man wearing glasses next to him was so frightened that he curled up into a ball, the ducks in the chicken coop squawked loudly, and all the surrounding passengers stared wide-eyed.

"Whoa!"

"This person is incredibly strong!"

"A martial arts expert, right?"

It took the ticket inspector a while to come to his senses. He stiffly turned his neck, bowed to Chen Hongwu, crossed his arms over his chest several times, and his voice trembled.

"Thank you... thank you, sir. Thank you so much, sir."

Chen Hongwu nodded.

The ticket inspector straightened up, wiped the sweat from his forehead, took a deep breath, and continued inspecting tickets.

This time, the ticket check went surprisingly smoothly.

The men who had been lounging with their legs crossed in their seats pulled out their tickets and respectfully handed them over before the ticket inspector even approached.

A young man who was blocking the aisle moved aside before the ticket inspector could speak.

A few passengers in the corner, their eyes darting around suspiciously, exchanged glances and discreetly tucked the short sticks sticking out of their sleeves back in.

The ticket inspector continued checking tickets without encountering any further difficulties.

Chen Hongwu sat by the window as the train rattled forward, the fields and villages outside rushing past in the coal smoke. He pressed the pistol under the wicker box, closed his eyes, and breathed slowly and evenly, his lower abdomen rising and falling slightly with each inhale and exhale, as if he were dozing off or standing in a stunt.

The train had been running for more than ten minutes, and the ticket inspector had long since left the carriage. The surroundings had quieted down again, with only the rumble of the wheels rolling over the tracks and the occasional sound of a child crying.

Suddenly, the front door of the carriage was kicked open.

The wooden door slammed against the metal carriage wall with a loud bang, startling everyone in the carriage.

Seven or eight people filed in.

Everyone was carrying a gun. Two machine guns and five or six pistols, their muzzles pointed menacingly at the passengers in the carriage.

The leader was a burly man with a thick beard. He pointed his machine gun at the ceiling and fired a shot.

"Da da da!"

Gunshots rang out in the narrow carriage, bullets pierced the metal roof, and metal scraps and dust fell down.

"Aaaaaah!!"

Several women screamed, the children cried loudly in fright, and the ducks in the chicken coop flapped their wings and thrashed about.

The bearded man lowered the muzzle of his gun, scanned the passengers in the carriage, grinned, revealing two rows of teeth yellowed from smoke.

"Don't move! Hand over all your money and valuables! Anyone who touches them will be killed!"
