Powerful Fist - General Breaks Arrow!

Gongliquan is the entry-level boxing style of Jingwu Gymnastics Association. Its moves are simple and unadorned, without pursuing fancy changes, relying entirely on the strength and power of the waist and horse.

This move, "General Breaks Arrow," is even more straightforward, taking the momentum of a general breaking an arrow to make a vow, with no return in sight. Once the fist and foot strike, the force penetrates to the very end.

Tan Tui is a highly representative leg technique in Northern martial arts, which emphasizes that "the hands are like two doors, but the legs are the only means to strike."

Chen Gongzhe's kick was fast and cunning, with his toes pointed and springing upwards, aiming straight for Chen Hongwu's lower abdomen. It was the fourth move of the Twelve Forms of Tan Tui, the "Cross Stance".

Bajiquan - Iron Bolt!

The knee is the middle section of the leg, and the "Iron Gate Bolt" is a classic defensive technique in Bajiquan. The knees are bent inward to seal the groin area, and the thighs are squeezed together like an iron gate. When an external kick hits the knee, it is as if the kicker has struck an iron pillar.

"Bang!"

Chen Gongzhe felt as if his toes had hit an iron plate, and the back of his foot was slightly numb from the impact.

Knowing he wouldn't gain any advantage by getting close, he stepped back to regroup his stance.

But Chen Hongwu's left hand had already arrived!

Alligator Shaped - Crocodile Kiss!

This is an extremely unpredictable move in the Twelve Forms of Xingyi. When a crocodile hunts, it lies on the surface of the water, suddenly raises its head when it encounters its prey, and bites down, never letting go.

Chen Hongwu used his left hand as the head of a crocodile, with his five fingers joined together like a crocodile's mouth, and flicked upwards from below, aiming directly at the weakest gap between the joints of Chen Gongzhe's forearm ulna.

The force originates from the center of the abdomen, passes through the elbow and penetrates to the fingertips, as fast as lightning, as powerful as a crocodile's jaws snapping shut and tearing inward.

Chen Gongzhe felt a sharp pain; his entire right arm went numb and tingling, and his boxing stance involuntarily crumbled.

But the moment he was locked in, he struck out with his left hand from the side, using the "turning palm" technique from the Misty Fist.

Chen Gongzhe twisted his wrist and drew a semi-circular arc, like a snake bypassing the obstacle, bypassing Chen Hongwu's alligator-shaped lock, and slapping it towards his ear.

This turning palm technique is a relatively obscure style in the Misty Fist, which Huo Yuanjia rarely used, but it is recorded in the boxing manual of the Jingwu Gymnastics Association.
