Chen An nodded without much expression after hearing this.

It doesn't matter whether I bring a gun or not; with the long-range transport capability, I can get the gun back whenever I want.

He then followed Black Wolf to store the guns in the locker, and then went to the security gate at the entrance.

Several security guards thoroughly searched the group from head to toe, and after confirming that they were not carrying any dangerous items, they politely let Black Wolf and his men in.

Upon entering the casino, Chen An couldn't help but look around. This was his first time in a casino, and the air was filled with the pungent smell of cigarettes and alcohol!

The air was filled with loud shouts, and every gambling table was surrounded by people, most of whom were dressed simply and looked no different from the people on the street outside.

"Let's go, Chen An. The air here is too polluted. We're actually heading to the VIP casino, where Parker usually hangs out." Black Wolf said, then walked confidently toward an elevator not far away.

Chen An then led the archers and others to follow.

The group slowly ascended in the elevator.

Before long, the elevator stopped at the 6th floor. As the elevator doors opened, the outside view was revealed: stylish walls covered with elegant murals, and an expensive cashmere carpet covering the corridor floor.

The air was fresh, a stark contrast to the scene on the first floor. There was no noise here, only the sound of chips clashing.

Black Wolf led Chen An through the corridor to a gambling hall, where many well-dressed wealthy businessmen were seated.

The crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling and the stunningly beautiful women around them seemed to be intentionally or unintentionally highlighting the special status of VIPs!

Black Wolf glanced around and quickly spotted a familiar figure, then hurried over.

Chen An looked over and saw a white man in his forties or fifties, dressed simply, but most attractive of all was his smooth, shiny bald head.

He guessed that Black Wolf probably recognized the other party because of this.

"Pal, it's been a long time."

Black Wolf approached and greeted him with a smile.

Hearing the noise, Pal turned around and was taken aback when he saw Black Wolf. "Hey! Black Wolf, weren't you in Los Angeles a while ago? Why are you back all of a sudden?"

Black Wolf chuckled. "I came back to take care of some things."

He then looked at the gambling table and asked, "How's it going? How much have you won?"

"Don't even mention it, I lost millions in three hours, I'm so annoyed," Pal said, glancing at the cards in his hand before throwing them onto the table. "Fuck! I lost again!"

"How about we talk?" Black Wolf said.

Pal waved his hand. "I'm not interested right now. I know the trouble you've gotten yourself into, and I don't really want to help you. It might drag me into it."

Black Wolf's face stiffened, and the words he had just prepared stuck in his throat, unable to be uttered.

"This isn't like you, Pal. You turn down business when it comes to you. Can you afford to pay back the money you lost today?" He knew the other man's character well; he certainly didn't have any extra money on hand right now.

"How do you know I'll keep losing? Black Wolf, you're underestimating me." Pal was immediately displeased upon hearing this.

Depend on!

Black Wolf was furious. This Pal was useless in every way, but he had a lot of connections and was very influential here. Otherwise, he wouldn't have sought him out.

Chen An curiously examined the stacks of chips on the gambling table, thinking to himself that it seemed easy for him to win money.

Since we're already here, why don't we win a hundred million before we leave?

The idea popped into his mind and wouldn't leave him, so he simply sat down next to Pal.

This action immediately caught the attention of Pal and Black Wolf.

"Chen An, what are you doing?" Black Wolf asked.

Chen An smiled slightly, "Black Wolf rarely comes here, how about playing a few rounds? It'll be a good opportunity for him to experience it."

"Black Wolf, who is this? I don't think I've seen him before," Pal asked.

Black Wolf began by introducing, "This is my friend, Mark Ann."

Then, looking at Chen An, she asked, "An, can you?"

Chen An shook his head. "No."

"Why are you getting involved if you don't know what to do!" Black Wolf looked surprised.

"You can learn if you don't know how," Chen An said with a smile, then snapped his fingers at the woman not far away, "Madam, could you please exchange some chips for me?"

Then Chen An took out three bundles of US dollars from his pocket, about $300,000.

"Okay, sir, please wait a moment." The young woman accepted the money and walked towards the counter not far away.

Chen An looked at Pal and the others at the table, "You guys continue, I'll take a look and join later."

The group didn't think much of it after hearing that.

They assume the other person is just a curious newbie who wants to try it out. Usually, once they've lost all their money, they'll slink away, and the gambling table continues, with the dealer dealing the cards.

Upon seeing this, Black Wolf couldn't help but facepalm.

Why is Chen An gambling again out of the blue? Could it be that the other party is so short of money because they've lost it all?!

Soon, Pal lost another tens of thousands of dollars.

Chen An had also figured out the rules; it was a very common way to play Texas Hold'em.

Just then, the woman handed Chen An her chips, and he gave her a thousand chips as a tip.

"Thank you, sir." The young woman kissed Chen An's cheek warmly before continuing to stand by the gambling table.

"Hey! Mark Ann, did you understand?" Parr asked, equally curious whether this guy would lose as badly as he did.

"Of course, let's begin. Adding me is no problem, right?" Chen An said, looking at the others at the gambling table.

"OK!"

"no problem."

Soon a new round of gambling began, and the dealer started dealing two hole cards to Chen An and the others.

Chen An reached out and took the card, glanced at it, and put it down. Black Wolf wanted to reach out and take another look, but Chen An slapped his hand away.

"You have bad luck; you're going to lose this round," Chen An said.

Black Wolf was taken aback. "My luck is bad? Chen An, where did you see that my luck is bad!"

"Please place your bets," the dealer announced.

A man in a suit not far away placed a bet of $100,000 in chips. He was also the one who had won the most and had the most chips on the table.

"Then I'll bet $100,000 too," said the Middle Eastern tycoon in a white robe opposite Parr.

"I'll have $100,000 too!" Pal said.

Chen An was no exception, betting $100,000 as well.

The dealer then dealt three community cards in succession: two 7s of clubs and one 7 of hearts of the same rank, and one 6 of hearts.

Looking at the three community cards, the people present couldn't help but pick up the bottom cards in front of them and look at them again, wondering what kind of hand they could form.

The man in the suit smiled slightly, as if victory was assured.

Pal, on the other hand, had a furrowed brow and looked like he had just eaten shit.

Chen An didn't look at his cards, waiting for these people to raise the bet. He was 100% confident of winning this gamble!
