Without Mayor Leon as a hostage and his car, the other side was like ants on a hot pan, with nowhere to escape.

"Notify all units to surround this guy and make sure he doesn't escape again. The losses and impact tonight have already been significant enough!"

A response came through the walkie-talkie!

"Chief, this is terrible! Aside from the injured driver, we can't find Mayor Leon. He's not in the car. I'm repeating, he's not in the car!"

The beast, disguised as Curry, approached the arriving police cars, anxiously shouting, "Quick! He's right ahead, we can't let him get away any longer!"

"Yes, sir!" A large number of police officers quickly approached the shop not far away.

Seeing this, the beast smiled slightly and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Inside the command center.

"What's going on! Why is there no signal!" Vardi asked the police officer next to him. Unfortunately, the equipment malfunctioned at the most critical moment, and he had no idea what was going on.

"I don't know, Chief. The equipment is fine; it seems like the signal is being interfered with in that area, but the range is too large!"

"Chief, Chief, can you hear me?!" The communicator was restored a moment later, and a police officer's voice came through.
