At noon, Zhong Xun drove Qin Fengyue to a Western restaurant.

The two were strikingly good-looking, and their innate nobility and refined elegance, cultivated by their high level of knowledge, made them appear like a pair of siblings who stood out from the crowd.

"Clothing matching" might be an inherent trait that Zhong Xun and Qin Fengyue share when they meet. After taking their seats, the two began to communicate fluently in a foreign language with the blond, blue-eyed waiter.

The waiters understood Chinese, and as soon as they walked a short distance away, they could hear the two attacking each other in their accented and dramatic voices.

"No wonder you maintain such a great figure; you can eat a huge salad like a cow grazing."

"How can anyone compare to you, my goodness? You even order double steaks. Anyone who didn't know better would think the judge's family was starving."

"No, no, darling, this will help me sculpt my thinner skin."

"What thin skin? Is it just your clothes giving you that illusion? There are so many people with poor eyesight these days, oh ho ho ho!"

The waiter was startled and turned around abruptly. He saw Zhong Xun and Qin Fengyue pouring juice and clinking glasses, their faces beaming with smiles that said, "You are my darling, may our friendship last forever."

Halfway through the meal, Meng Jingting sent a text message asking how they had managed to have lunch.

Zhong Xun took a picture of a table full of half-eaten food.

Meng Jingting leaped into the air, landing and using the momentum to retreat more than ten meters. He then gave a deep order over the walkie-talkie: "First squad, withdraw immediately! Third squad, flank from the right!"

Xie Wencheng was hit on the shoulder by a stray tail of pollutant, wincing in pain as he retreated to Meng Jingting's side. Just then, he saw a photo flash by quickly. "Hey? Who's eating?"

Meng Jingting pressed his earpiece: "What?"

Xie Wencheng: "Why are you pretending to be confused with me?!"

Meng Jing grabbed Xie Wencheng by the back of his neck, clutching his cold, hard combat suit, and tossed him away. "Get to work!"

Xie Wencheng let out a knowing "Hmph!" two beats later.

After finishing her meal, Qin Fengyue had a small experiment to do. Zhong Xun told her to drive back first, while he took the bus to "Yuefeng Lanting".

The case that occurred in this community remains unsolved.

As mentioned before regarding "hiddenness," there are pollutants here.

"Yuefeng Lanting" is located in the center of Area A. It can hide in the energy scan. Is it the same as "concealment"?

Zhong Xun was particularly concerned about this point. He even considered that if it were true, he would seize the opportunity before the court hearing and let "Hidden" swallow it first.

The black ball has recently doubled in size, and Zhong Xun hopes it is a growing type.

After consuming those "puppet silks" yesterday, "Hidden" fell into a deep sleep again.

A man carrying a briefcase walked briskly, opened the access control, and Zhong Xun followed him inside.

The security guard merely glanced at him before continuing to watch the surveillance footage.

Zhong Xun has an air of being able to live in the best apartment in any upscale neighborhood. Based on the information he saw on Meng Jingting's computer, he found five buildings.

The door connecting the safety passage in the middle separates the two rooms on the left and right, so it is one apartment per floor.

Since Zhong Xun lacks identity verification, he naturally cannot access the 301 redirect.

He stood downstairs looking up. The curtains of apartment 301 were drawn, and he could only see a row of half-dead succulents outside the open-air balcony.

The woman is still in a coma in the hospital (she has changed her ways and is living a good life), and these little plants are exposed to the scorching sun, lacking care.

Although an accident occurred in this community, it involved pollutants, so it was announced that the female homeowner had suddenly fainted. Otherwise, panic would have spread, and even the intervention of the tribunal could not calm people down.

Later, a magnetic field scan was conducted on the entire community, and the report submitted stated that "the escape of pollutants has been confirmed."

The afternoon sun was shining brightly. A mother was pushing a stroller and basking in the sun, while several elderly people sat chatting under the shade of a tree. Children on skateboards whizzed past. The occupancy rate of this community was very high, the property management was responsible, and the community environment was elegant and beautiful. A man was walking past Building 5 with his dog when the previously quiet white dog suddenly started barking wildly at the building. Worried that it would disturb others, the man pinched the dog's muzzle and dragged the white dog away.

Everything proceeded as planned.

Zhong Xun had dealt with pollutants for two lifetimes, so he couldn't sense anything unusual.

It seems the trail has gone cold since the girl in the hospital remains unconscious.

Zhong Xun was pondering whether he would need to borrow Meng Jingting's access...

The glass door was pushed open from the inside, and the two looked at each other, both somewhat surprised.

Xu Hengzhou's gray eyes widened in suspicion: "What are you doing here?"

Chung Hsun: "Do you think the investigating judge has credibility?"

Xu Hengzhou had always believed that Zhong Xun was not good enough for Meng Jingting, a burden who might harm the court one day. But this morning, Xu Hengzhou heard Sun Chen and others exclaim in amazement that Zhong Xun had answered a questionnaire with some kind of equipment with 100% accuracy on a difficulty level of 80.

Xu Hengzhou was somewhat confused.

Zhong Xun was still standing in the sunlight. He was dressed lightly, and the hem of his shirt was billowing in the wind. He always had that faint smile on his face, which was polite and gentle, giving people the illusion that he was very easy to talk to.

Xu Hengzhou suddenly realized something, and his expression changed slightly: "Your mental tentacles can sense pollutants?"

Zhong Xun's smile deepened: "Of course, Judge."

Ding--

The elevator has arrived at room 301.

As the person in charge of the case, Xu Hengzhou naturally obtained the spare key from the victim's family.

The door opened, and a light dust wafted in the air. The furniture, which was originally very fresh and clean, was now covered with a layer of mist.

Zhong Xun and Xu Hengzhou put on shoe covers and went inside one after the other.

The girl lay on her side in the living room, with white outlines on the floor, outlining the locations where some physical evidence had fallen. Zhong Xun noticed a shoe print on the balcony.

Approximately size 43, a man's foot.

"The only clue," Xu Hengzhou said, "is that no useful DNA was left, not even a fingerprint."

Zhong Xun stared at the direction of the shoe print, as if the other party had committed the crime out of thin air, stepped on it, and then disappeared in an instant.

"Can your spiritual tentacles sense this?"

Zhong Xun shook his head: "I've sensed it, there are no pollutants in this room."

Disappointment flashed in Xu Hengzhou's eyes. During the meeting, he suggested that the investigation should move away from the residential area and outwards. But perhaps it was an innate intuition, Xu Hengzhou always felt that all the secrets were in this room.

Suddenly, Zhong Xun and Xu Hengzhou exchanged a glance and looked towards the door at the same time.

The young man, who was about to knock on the door, was startled and withdrew the foot that had been sticking out.

It was a handsome face, young and clean-cut, with a friendly smile. His gaze lingered on Zhong Xun's face for a second before he greeted Xu Hengzhou familiarly, "Good day, sir."

Zhong Xun asked in a low voice, "Do you know them?"

Xu Hengzhou explained: "The person on the other side of the emergency exit lives in 302. He has given a statement. He was on a business trip next door that night and didn't return until two days later. The evidence is complete, and he is cleared of suspicion."

Xu Hengzhou asked the young man, "What are you doing here?"

The young man quickly waved his hand: "I've been exercising lately and I was taking the stairs. When I heard the noise, I thought Xiao Zhang had been discharged from the hospital. She brought me dumplings before, so I thought I'd ask her."

The young man was a bit reserved.
