By the time we returned to the manor, it was completely dark.

The lights were on in the hall, and several maids were tidying up the tea set. Luna was standing by the table folding napkins. When she saw Lin Yu enter with Lilia and Sena, she smiled at them.

"Welcome home, Master!"

Lilia released Lin Yu's hand and ran over to help Luna fold her napkin.

Sena followed, and the two of them squeezed next to Luna, learning how she folded napkins.

They had already become friends with the maids at the manor, so Lin Yu simply let them stay at the manor so they wouldn't feel lonely.

The lights in the hall were warm and inviting as Luna stood by the table folding napkins.

When she lowered her head, a few strands of hair slipped down from behind her ears and fell beside her cheeks.

The candlelight flickered on her profile, lengthening and shortening the shadow of her eyelashes.

She occasionally raised her eyes, her gaze falling on Lin Yu, her eyes alluring.

The other maids were wiping the table and arranging vases; no one noticed Luna's gaze.

She placed the folded napkins on the corner of the table, ran her fingertips along the edge of the fabric, and then bent down to reach for the dishcloth under the table.

Seeing this, Lin Yu raised an eyebrow. Luna Mei.Chuan.Kun.Nei.

The wind of freedom blew in, and only the white silk clung tightly to the skin.

Moonlight streamed down Luna's feet, leaving a trail of silvery tassels.

Luna maintained that pose, clutching the rag in her hand, turning her head to look up from the table and onto Lin Yu's face, a slight smile playing on her lips.

Luna's appearance was originally pure and lovely, but when she looked at Lin Yu, she instinctively revealed a touch of charm, which was quite a contrast.

Like a fruit ripened prematurely, all its fragrance is offered to its owner.

Of course, the culprit behind all this is Lin Yu, the hardworking gardener.

Lin Yu straightened up from the door frame, walked across the hall, and headed towards her.

"Luna," he said in a low voice, "the glass window over there isn't very bright. Come with me and take a look."

Luna paused for a moment, then draped the rag over the edge of the table: "Yes, Master~"

She followed Lin Yu toward the window on the side of the hall, her steps neither fast nor slow, her skirt swaying gently at her feet.

The small, white silk-wrapped treads moved alternately, gleaming delicately in the candlelight.

The window was at the corner of the corridor, some distance from the hall. The other maids were still busy at the table. The light was dimmer on this side, and the candlelight was only enough to illuminate half of the window.

Luna stood by the window, looked up at the glass, then down at the rag in her hand: "It seems a little dusty..."

Her voice was very soft, as if she were talking to herself.

She raised the rag to reach the top edge of the glass, stood on tiptoe, and her skirt rode up a bit, revealing more of her white-stockinged thighs.

She held the position for a few seconds, then put it down after reaching it, wiping the glass twice with the cloth in her hand, her movements unhurried and deliberate.

Lin Yu stood behind her.

His chest was only inches from her back, and he could smell the faint scent of soap on her body, as well as the warmth of her body after she had just moved around.

Luna stopped moving her hands, turned her head to face Lin Yu, and didn't say anything.

But her buttocks shifted back half an inch, touching Lin Yu's pants through the white silk and fabric, stopping there, gently rubbing against him, then again.

The movements were small and subtle, as if afraid of being seen, yet hoping Lin Yu would notice.

Lin Yu did not choose to take it a step further, but instead gave her some simple guidance on her work.

Lin Yu then withdrew his hand, took half a step back, and turned to walk towards the study.

Luna's breathing was still erratic. She looked down at the sweat on her thighs, glanced at Lin Yu's back, and instinctively wanted to follow him.

"Luna—" Lilia's voice came from the other end of the hall: "Come help us set out the candles—"

"And over here too," Sena's voice followed.

Luna stopped in her tracks.

She stood there watching Lin Yu's figure disappear around the corner of the corridor, then glanced back at the direction of the lobby.

Lilia and Sena were standing by the table, each holding a candle, waving at her.

She swallowed hard, put down the rag, and walked towards the hall.

......

The study door wasn't closed completely; it was left a crack.

Lin Yu sat down behind the desk, leaned back in his chair, and casually picked up a book from the back of the bookshelf to read.

Not long after, there was a light knock on the door, as if afraid of disturbing something.

"Come in."

Liuli Chun pushed the door open and closed it behind her.

She changed into a light-colored nightgown, the hem of which reached her ankles, and her hair was loose, with a few strands falling over her shoulders.

She walked to the desk and stood there, neither sitting down nor speaking, but simply standing there, her fingers gently twisting the fabric of her skirt.

Lin Yu didn't look up at her and continued reading.

He thought it was Luna knocking on the door, but he didn't expect it to be Ruri Tsubaki.

"What do you need me for?" Lin Yu asked knowingly.

Upon hearing this, Ruri Tsubaki twisted the fabric of her nightgown with her fingers and lightly rubbed her toes on the floor.

She didn't dare to look at Lin Yu, her gaze lingering on his chest. Her lips moved several times, as if she was trying to organize her thoughts.

After several seconds, he managed to squeeze out a sentence: "Master must be tired after a busy day too?"

The last syllable of his voice rose slightly, carrying a hint of probing.

Lin Yu closed the book and placed it on the table: "And then?"

Ruri Tsubaki's eyelashes trembled, her throat bobbed, and her voice was a little softer than before: "Let Ruri Tsubaki... help Master relax a bit..."

As she spoke, Ruri Chun took half a step forward, the edge of her nightgown brushing against the floor.

After she finished speaking, she seemed to have all her strength drained away. Her shoulders hunched slightly, but she didn't back down any further.

You could tell she was incredibly nervous, but she still stood there, biting her lip, waiting for a reply.

"Relax? How do I relax?" Lin Yu tapped his fingers lightly on the table.

Ruri Chun's breathing became disordered.

She took another half step forward, her knees touching the edge of the table. As she bent over, the neckline of her light-colored nightgown drooped down, revealing her collarbone.

She reached out to touch Lin Yu's collar, her fingertips brushing the edge of the fabric before pulling back. Then she reached out again, pinched the top button, and slowly unbuttoned it.

The movements were slow, and the fingertips were trembling slightly.

After finishing one, she didn't stop, moving her finger to the next.

"...Relax like this." Ruri Tsubaki swallowed.

Lin Yu did not stop her.

His gaze fell on her trembling hands as she unbuttoned her shirt, one button at a time.

He paused after each finger unwrapped a single one, as if checking something or encouraging himself.

She stopped when she untied the third one and didn't continue.

Lin Yu reached out and pinched her chin, lifting her face slightly: "I don't like dishonest maids. You have to speak your truest thoughts."

Forced to meet Lin Yu's gaze, Liuli Chun bit her lower lip and said, "I...I want Master..." Her voice was a little louder than before.

Lin Yu released his grip with satisfaction and leaned back in his chair.
