They crossed the main street and turned into a narrow alley.

There were few people in the alley, and the lighting was dim.

Lin Yu stopped in front of a tailor shop with a light blue sign, pushed open the door, and stepped aside to make way for the entrance.

"Come in."

The three women went in one after another.

The door closed behind them with a soft click.

The warm yellow light in the shop enveloped them, and the smell of fabric and needlework mingled together, creating a comforting and dry warmth.

The proprietress looked up, her gaze lingering on the three black robes for a moment before shifting to Lin Yu, a hint of composure in her eyes as if she had seen all sorts of customers:

"Sir, did you bring a guest to have clothes made?"

"I'll order three sets, and I need them tomorrow." Lin Yu placed a gold coin on the counter.

"You decide on the style; it needs to be attractive and unique."

The proprietress picked up the gold coin, weighed it in her hand, and put it into her apron pocket.

"No problem. But sir, we need to take your measurements first to order custom-made clothes."

She glanced at Mia, Papi, and Treya, then pulled a measuring tape from under the counter and handed it to Lin Yu.

"The shop's rule is that customers measure themselves."

Upon hearing this, Mia's tail stiffened.

Papi lowered his head and rubbed the floor with the tip of his boot.

Treya's ears turned red, but she didn't lower her chin; she simply pulled her hand back from the hilt of the sword and placed it at her side.

Lin Yu took the measuring tape and turned to look at them: "If the three ladies are not willing, they can go to another store."

Mia's tail twitched. She turned her head to look at Treya, then at Papi.

Papi's fingers gripped the hem of her skirt, but she didn't back down.

Theresa paused for a few seconds before speaking:

"Mr. Lin Yu has helped us so much, we can't be willful, let's stay here."

Lin Yu nodded, didn't ask any more questions, and walked towards the changing area inside the store.

The changing area was divided into three small cubicles by curtains. The space was not large, but large enough to turn around in.

"Please have the three ladies wait for me inside," he said.

Mia went into the room on the left first, her tail leaving a long, thin trail on the floor.

Papi went into the middle room, while Treya hesitated for a moment before walking into the room on the far right.

The curtain closed behind them, making a soft rustling sound.

Lin Yu first lifted the curtain on the left.

Mia stood in the center of the cubicle, her back to the door, her tail sticking out from the edge of her skirt and coiling loosely in a circle on the floor.

Hearing footsteps, she turned her head, her face turned towards Lin Yu, and the corner of her mouth curved slightly:

"Mr. Lin Yu, I haven't taken any measurements before, so I don't know what to do."

"You can stand here, I'll take your measurements." Lin Yu wrapped the measuring tape around his fingers twice and walked behind her.

His fingers first rested on her shoulder, his fingertips gently pressing through the fabric. The measuring tape went around her shoulder, slid down her collarbone to her chest, and then gathered along her waist.

Mia's breath hitched, and her tail twitched slightly on the floor, the tip of which curled up slightly.

Lin Yu's soft measuring tape slid down from her waist, past her hips, and stopped at the edge of her skirt.

There it had already folded into the starting point of the snake's tail, and the area where the skin and scales met had a subtle tactile feel to the touch, with the warm skin transitioning into the cool, smooth scales at the edges.

His fingers slid down half an inch along the boundary line, touching the slightly raised area below his lower abdomen, where the scales were thinner and softer than elsewhere, carrying an extremely subtle warmth.

Mia's tail suddenly tightened.

"Mr. Lin Yu—" Her voice rose a little, then fell back down.

"What's wrong?" Lin Yu's measuring tape stopped there, his tone a little confused, like a human who had no idea about the snake-man's anatomy.

Mia's lips moved, and the muscles in her tail tensed and relaxed.

That spot was her most sensitive area.

But she opened her mouth, and nothing came out. She couldn't very well tell a kind man who was helping her take her measurements:

"You touched me there."

Moreover, the other party was unaware of the snake-person's physical structure and did not know that her beta was located there.

Mia's tail tip tapped the floor twice behind her, and finally, only a soft, gentle sound escaped her throat:

"It's nothing, it's just... a little itchy."

Lin Yu's fingertips lightly brushed against her lower abdomen: "Here?"

Mia's body tensed up suddenly, and her tail curled up slightly.

She bit her lip, her voice squeezed out from between her teeth, tinged with an awkwardness she didn't know how to explain:

"Hmm...it's just there...it's a little itchy."

After she finished speaking, she turned her face to the side, not daring to look at him.

Lin Yu pulled the measuring tape back from below her lower abdomen and measured it in sections along the base of her snake tail.

When he measured her waist, his fingers inadvertently brushed against the thin, soft scales on the inside of her tail.

Mia's body trembled again, and her tail involuntarily tightened half a circle, curling around his calf.

It wasn't a strong force, but you could feel the scales on its belly brush against his trouser leg before it loosened.

"Sorry—" Mia quickly retracted her tail.

"It's alright." Lin Yu had already put away his measuring tape: "I'm done measuring, Miss Mia can go now."

When Mia came out of the cubicle, Papi was squatting outside the cubicle, hugging her knees with her hands and resting her chin on the back of her hands.

She looked up at Mia and said, "Your face is so red."

"It's hot," Mia said.

Lin Yu lifted the curtain on the right.

Treya stood in the cubicle, her back ramrod straight, even more upright than when she was on the wooden platform.

Her gaze did not fall on Lin Yu, but on the seam of the curtain in front of her.

The horse's mane shimmered like satin in the morning light, its four hooves slightly apart, standing very steadily.

"Miss Teresa, let me measure your upper body first," Lin Yu said.

He walked around to her side, placed the measuring tape on her shoulder, slid it down the outside of her arm, measured her shoulder width, and then returned to her neck.

His fingertips paused on the back of her neck, feeling the warmth there.

Treya's ears turned red for a moment, but she didn't move.

As the measuring tape slid from the back of her neck to her chest, the back of his fingers inevitably brushed against the edge of her blouse collar, which was already stretched taut.

Her breath hitched.

"You might need to relax a bit here."

Lin Yu's soft ruler circled halfway around the outline of her fierce mouth, his fingertips pressing against the edge of the fabric, feeling the firmness of the muscles underneath.

"Miss Theresa must exercise regularly, right?" he asked.

"Hmm." Theresa's reply was brief, her chin slightly raised, her gaze still fixed on the curtain.

Lin Yu pulled the measuring tape back and paused at the edge of the belt on her waist.

Her waist was very slender, creating a contrast with the width of her hips. The lines of her body spread down from her waist, across her abdomen, and then tapered at her hip bones.

He crouched down, and used a soft measuring tape to measure along the horse's body, from the shoulder blades to the rump, and then to the top of the tail.

Lin Yu's fingers slid down her spine, and when they passed her lower back, her tail flicked slightly, hitting the back of his hand.

The force was not great; it seemed to be an unconscious reaction.

"I'm sorry—I didn't mean to." Treya's voice was a little tighter than before.

Lin Yu didn't turn around and continued measuring.

When the measuring tape reached her abdomen, his palm gently pressed against the inside of her horse's body, where the hair was softer than on her back, and he could feel the contours of her ribs rising and falling under her skin.

Her leg moved slightly, and the horse shifted half an inch to the side, as if making way for something, or perhaps searching for a more suitable standing angle.

"I'm done measuring." Lin Yu stood up and tucked the measuring tape between his fingers. "Miss Theresa can leave now."

When Treya walked past Lin Yu, her ears were still red, but she didn't lower her head.

The curtain swayed slightly with her movement, then stopped.
