Papi is indeed very cute, with a pink and tender appearance, like a little cake, making you want to take a bite.

In every aspect.

Papiyas's face flushed red, and she bit her lip as she said:

"Mr. Lin Yu... what are you going to do... I'm not ready yet..."

"Of course I won't force Miss Pappy, I'm just admiring her," Lin Yu said gently.

Papi's breathing faltered; she wanted to say, "What's so great about it?"

But before he could say anything, Lin Yu lowered his head and kissed her lips.

Papi:(˵>ㅿ<˵)

"Mr. Lin Yu—" Her voice changed, "...How could you..."

Seeing Lin Yu's focused expression, Papi felt very shy and somewhat puzzled.

Wow, you can do that too! Papi smells so good.

……

……

Ten minutes later, Lin Yu patted Pappy's head and asked, "Do you like this?"

"I like it~"

"Then I've helped Miss Pappy." Lin Yu's voice came from above her head, tinged with amusement.

"In return for kindness, Miss Pappy, shouldn't you help me out too?"

Upon hearing this, Papiya bit her lip and did not reply.

With Lin Yu leading the way, her first reaction was not resistance, but rather some mental preparation.

After all, since someone as distinguished as Mr. Lin Yu had done this, she had no reason to refuse.

These are some of the small details Lin Yu pays attention to, so that the other party can accept them and feel respected.

Papi didn't flinch, but instead asked timidly, "What should I do?"

Lin Yu: "I'll teach you."

Half an hour later—

"Okay, we're finally done measuring."

Lin Yu lifted the curtain and walked out. Papiyas, who was following behind, still had tear stains on her cheeks, but the corners of her mouth couldn't help but turn up.

Mia was leaning against the counter talking to the proprietress when she saw Papi come out. Her gaze lingered on Papi's face for a moment, and her eyebrows slowly rose.

"Papiyas, are you crying?"

"no."

Your eyes are all red—

"Dust got in by accident," Papbi said.

Mia glanced at her, then at Lin Yu, a slight smile playing on her lips, but didn't press the matter.

The proprietress wrote down their measurements on a thin piece of paper, the pen gliding across the surface, then glanced up at Lin Yu:

"Sir, it will be ready this afternoon. You can pick it up tonight."

Lin Yu nodded and took out a few more silver coins from his storage magic bag, placing them on the counter.

He turned to the three women and said, "It's lunchtime, let me treat you to a meal."

Mia's tail tapped on the floor.

Papi looked up, her eyes bright.

Treya paused for two seconds, then lowered her hand from the hilt of her sword: "Then... I shall accept your offer."

Lin Yu led them out of the alley, across the main street, and stopped in front of a restaurant in the town center that looked fairly clean.

Lin Yu pushed open the wooden door, stepped aside to let them go in first, and followed behind.

The restaurant was small, with a few clean wooden tables, each topped with a rough earthenware vase and a bunch of wildflowers.

The table by the window was empty, and sunlight streamed in, spreading a warm golden glow across the tabletop.

Lin Yu sat down by the window, and Mia sat opposite him, her tail coiled halfway around the floor.

Papiyas sat down next to him, his boots dangling slightly on the chair leg.

Theresa sat down opposite him. Since she was a centaur, Theresa didn't need a stool; she could simply remain in a kneeling position.

The proprietress came over with a tray and placed the dishes on the table one by one.

A plate of roasted lamb chops, golden brown on the surface, with the fat still sizzling.

A plate of stewed beans, seasoned with spices, rises with the aroma of heat and pepper.

A large bowl of mashed potatoes, topped with dark meat gravy.

There was also a basket of freshly baked bread, with a crispy crust; you could hear a slight cracking sound when you broke it open.

Papi stared at the plate of lamb chops for a few seconds, then swallowed hard.

Mia swept her tail back and forth on the floor twice, but didn't touch the chopsticks.

Treya sat up straight, her hands on her knees, and didn't touch the dishes on the table.

Lin Yu picked up his knife and fork, cut off a piece of lamb chop, put it in his mouth, chewed it twice, and swallowed it.

"Eat it," he said, "it won't taste good when it's cold."

Mia moved first.

She reached out and picked up a piece of lamb chop, took a bite, paused for a moment while chewing, then sped up her chewing, but still chewed each bite very thoroughly.

Papi also picked up a piece of bread. When she broke it open, hot air rushed out from the crack. She looked down to smell it before taking a bite.

Treya ate slowly, chewing each bite carefully, as if she hadn't eaten a meal so attentively in a long time.

Lin Yu didn't ask any more questions or pick up more food; she just occasionally pushed the plate towards them.

After the meal, most of the plates on the table were empty.

Papi leaned back in her chair, her hand resting on her slightly protruding belly, her eyes half-closed, like a well-fed little animal.

Mia's tail swayed gently on the floor, its tip bobbing up and down.

Treya put down her knife and fork, wiped her mouth with a cloth from the corner of the table, her movements carrying an unconscious air of propriety.

Lin Yu paid the bill and stood up: "Let's go, I'll take you back."

The three women followed him out of the restaurant. The sun shone directly down from above, warming the ground.

Lin Yu stopped in the open space in front of the tent and turned to look at them.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow morning," he said. "Get some rest and recharge."

Mia's tail swept across the ground: "Mr. Lin Yu, is there anything we need to prepare for tomorrow?"

"It's fine as long as you're here." Lin Yu smiled, waved his hand, and turned to walk towards the main street.

His silhouette was stretched into a long, thin shadow in the afternoon sunlight, extending along the stone path and disappearing around the corner.

The tent was quiet for a while.

Mia spoke first, her voice carrying a lazy tone:

"Today has been a dream, so many things have happened."

She lay on a straw mat inside the tent, her tail coiled at her side, the tip swaying gently.

"Ah, how wonderful it would be to become Mr. Lin Yu's woman. Mr. Lin Yu is gentle, rich, kind, and handsome—"

"Mia, have you no shame?" Treya leaned against the wooden crate, a blade of grass in her hand, her gaze fixed on the canvas of the tent roof.

"She starts getting all lovey-dovey as soon as someone is nice to her."

But her face turned red, a thin layer of pink spreading from her ears to her neck.

Mia sat up from the hay mat, turned her gaze to Papi, and a sly smile curved her lips:

"Little Papi, tell me quickly, why did you spend so long with Mr. Lin Yu in the locker room earlier? Did you two do something?"

Papi sat in the corner of the tent, hugging her knees, her wings tucked behind her.

Her ears turned slightly red: "I didn't do anything."

"Really?" Mia slid off the hay mat, her tail darting across the ground, and came close to her.

"Then why did it take you so long to come out?"

Papi's face turned even redder: "It's just... the measurement took a little longer..." She paused, her voice muffled in her throat:

"Mr. Lin Yu...he realized I couldn't fly anymore. He said he could cure me."

Papiyas didn't tell Lin Yu what had surprised her, but the scene from before kept flashing through her mind, making her face turn even redder.

Upon hearing Papi's words, Mia turned her head and glanced at Treya.

Treya also turned her head, the blade of grass in her hand already broken in half.

They knew how much Pabi suffered because she couldn't fly, and Lin Yu's actions undoubtedly made him even more admirable in their eyes.

"Really?" Mia lowered her voice slightly. "He really said that?"

Papiyas nodded. "He said he needs to prepare a few things, but it shouldn't be difficult."

The tent was quiet for a while.

Mia's fingers twirled slightly at the hem of her skirt, and her tail tapped twice on the floor.

"Mr. Lin Yu... he's such a good person," Mia said, her voice much softer than before.
