The streets of Wind Chime Town remained noisy.

Lin Yu didn't linger at the stalls. Carrying a package full of potion bottles, he walked through the crowded streets and headed straight for a gray-white stone building on the west side of the town.

Looking at the wand and raven pattern exclusive to the Potions Masters Association at the entrance, Lin Yu's expression became more serious.

He remembered that in the game, in Wind Chime Town, potions weren't something you could just put out and sell anywhere.

Selling a few bottles occasionally might not bother you.

However, selling such items in large quantities over a long period without proper identification can result in fines or even imprisonment if caught.

Lin Yu didn't intend to do just a one-off deal.

Having the identity of a potion master is a must, not only for selling medicine now, but also for Lin Yu's future plans.

Thinking of this, Lin Yu pushed open the door and went inside.

The hall was dimly lit, and the air was filled with a strange, pungent smell of various medicinal herbs.

Behind the counter sat an old man wearing glasses, flipping through a book so thick it could kill someone.

Hearing footsteps, he looked up, adjusted his glasses, then pulled a form from a drawer, took out a quill pen, dipped it in ink, and pushed it towards him, saying:

"You seem to be a new face."

"Hmm." Lin Yu walked to the counter.

The old man didn't ask any more questions. He pointed to the tightly closed wooden door on the side of the hall and said, "Go in. The examiner is inside."

Lin Yu nodded slightly and walked towards the wooden door.

......

Ten minutes later.

The association's doors opened, and Lin Yu walked out.

He was now wearing a dark gray potion master's robe, with silver patterns embroidered on the collar and cuffs.

He wore a bronze badge on his chest, which was engraved with a crucible and a medicine bottle, with three horizontal bars below the design.

Third-tier potion master.

Lin Yu only took the third-level exam, not because he couldn't pass the higher-level exams, but because there was no need to.

In Wind Chime Town, those who can reach the third tier of potion master are generally no less than 30 years old.

Lin Yu, who completed the third-level assessment at the age of 20, already attracted a lot of attention during the test, so going any higher would be too conspicuous.

He was already at the fourth or fifth rank right after registering. If word got out, the entire Wind Chime Town would be watching him, and it might even attract the attention of the lord.

According to Lin Yu's understanding, Lord Rodwell of the Eagle Territory, including Wind Chime Town, is not a good person, otherwise he would not have increased taxes year after year.

Without much thought, Lin Yu adjusted the collar of his robe and headed towards the Adventurers' Guild.

With an identity, selling potions will be much easier from now on.

......

The Adventurers' Guild of Windchime Town is located in a three-story stone building on the north side of the town's central square.

Lin Yu pushed open the door and went in.

The Adventurers' Guild's hall was much more lively than the Potions Master's Guild's.

Mercenaries, adventurers, merchants—all sorts of people huddled together, making a racket, the air thick with the smells of sweat, alcohol, and leather.

The notice board was covered with all sorts of requests, from cleaning slimes from the sewers to slaying monsters in the forest—you name it.

Lin Yu walked through the crowd to an empty wooden table in the corner and put down the package.

He unpacked the package, and twenty bottles of healing potions were neatly stacked on the table.

The red liquid swayed gently in the glass bottle, casting a soft glow in the dimly lit hall.

In the Adventurers' Guild's lobby, it's not uncommon to see people setting up temporary stalls to sell potions, equipment, or materials.

As long as it doesn't block the passage or cause a disturbance, the guild generally won't interfere.

For adventurers, this is also something to be happy about.

These stalls are usually run by novice alchemists or potion makers who are just starting out, and the items they bring out to practice are often cheaper.

Either you're an experienced vendor with connections, and you can occasionally find some novelties that aren't commonly found on the market.

As Lin Yu arranged the potions and straightened up, a sharp-eyed adventurer noticed the brand-new Tier 3 potion master badge on his chest.

The bronze badge was not very conspicuous in the dim light, but the pattern of the crucible and medicine bottle, as well as the three horizontal bars, were recognizable to those in the know.

Such a young third-tier potion master?

Many people turned their attention to this.

Soon, a burly man with a scar on his face walked over, picked up a bottle of potion, and looked at it in the light next to him.

The liquid is clear, pure in color, and free of impurities or sediment.

"Good quality." The burly man put down the bottle and looked at Lin Yu: "How much?"

"One gold coin, limited to one bottle," Lin Yu said.

The burly man's eyes lit up. He took a gold coin from his purse, slapped it on the table, picked up the potion, and turned to leave.

A bottle of healing potion sells for about one gold coin on the market, while a good quality one can sell for one gold coin and fifty silver coins, or even more.

Lin Yulian's products are of even better quality than the best on the market, and those who know their stuff will naturally snap them up.

Once the first one was there, onlookers gathered around.

"Give me one too."

"I want one bottle."

"Is this medicine effective?"

Inquiries came one after another.

Lin Yu accepted the money while giving a brief reply.

"Advanced healing solution; wounds treated with this solution will not become infected for three days and can accelerate healing instantly."

Lin Yu spoke in a steady tone, without much of a sales pitch, which made him seem more credible.

In less than twenty minutes, there was only one bottle of potion left on the table.

Lin Yu put it in his pocket, got up and walked to the front desk on the inside of the hall.

A girl with pink hair was sitting behind the reception desk, tidying something up with her head down.

Hearing footsteps, she looked up.

She has a small face, big eyes, and light pink lips. She looks to be in her early twenties and is quite cute.

The nameplate on her chest reads: Lilia.

"Sir, what can I do for you?" she asked in a sweet voice.

Lin Yu placed the potion on the table.

"I would like to see your president."

Lilia glanced down at the bottle of potion, then looked up at Lin Yu.

Her gaze lingered on his face for two seconds, then moved down to the potion master badge on his chest.

Third order.

Her expression changed, becoming more serious: "May I ask what brings you to the president?"

"Let's discuss a collaboration," Lin Yu said.

"Please wait a moment." She took the potion with both hands, turned around and walked upstairs, her leather boots making a clattering sound on the wooden floor.

Lin Yu leaned against the edge of the stage and waited.

The hall was still noisy. Some people were loudly boasting about their adventures yesterday, some were arguing about the payment for the commission, and others were gambling with dice at a table in the corner.

About five minutes later, Lilia came down the stairs, her expression even more respectful than before.

"Sir, the chairman requests your presence upstairs."

Lin Yu nodded and followed her upstairs.

The second floor was much quieter than the first floor; the corridor was covered with a deep red carpet that made no sound when you stepped on it.

Several portraits hung on the wall, presumably of the past presidents.

Lilia walked to the end of the corridor and knocked on the door: "President, they've arrived."

"Come in," a woman's voice came from inside, low and slightly hoarse.
