The morning in Wind Chime Town has begun to awaken.

The aroma of bread wafted from the street-side bakery, and the clanging of metal came from the blacksmith's shop.

Vera sat behind the large desk with her legs crossed, her calves, encased in black stockings, had smooth lines, and her toes, adorned with dark red high heels, swayed back and forth.

Upon seeing Lin Yu, she put down her wine glass, sat up straighter, and her chest curves were clearly visible beneath her cheongsam.

"Mr. Lin Yu, you're right on time." She smiled, her gaze falling on the storage pouch at his waist.

"Looks like my six hundred bottles of potions are ready?"

"Hmm." Lin Yu nodded slightly, walked to the desk, and with a wave of his hand, ten heavy wooden crates appeared one after another and were neatly stacked on the carpet.

He casually opened the lid of the nearest box.

A faint red glow and a refreshing medicinal scent instantly filled the air.

Inside the box, bottles of healing potions were arranged closely together. The red liquid inside the crystal-clear glass bottles was clear and transparent, without any impurities.

Vera got up and walked over, picked up a bottle, examined it carefully in the morning light streaming in through the window, and then uncorked it and took a gentle sniff.

A glint of satisfaction flashed in her eyes, but it was quickly masked by her usual lazy smile.

"The quality is as good as ever, even more consistent than the first time I saw it."

She put the medicine bottle back and clapped her hands: "This batch of goods can be distributed within a day."

Lin Yu's gaze lingered on her face for a moment, then casually slid down for a second, brushing over her crossed legs.

Those legs were still encased in black stockings with a delicate, matte finish.

The words "Secret Pleasure" flashed across my vision.

After making this subtle, suggestive gesture, she looked up at Lin Yu, a lazy, playful smile playing on her lips.

However, Lin Yu had already withdrawn his gaze, his face expressionless, as if that glance had been unintentional.

"Can we begin, President Vera?" he asked casually.

A faint hint of surprise flashed across Vera's eyes, then her smile deepened.

Interesting, this little man is more composed than she thought.

"Of course." She put down her wine glass, stood up, and walked around the desk.

The high heels clicked softly on the carpet.

"Let's go to the training room next door. It's quieter and more spacious there."

The two went to the next room.

This place is much simpler than the office, with only a long table, a few chairs, some miscellaneous items piled in the corner, and a large platform in the middle.

Vera waved her hand, and a layer of pale blue light spread from her fingertips, covering the doors and windows and blocking out outside sounds.

"Soundproofing magic, to avoid being disturbed," she explained, walking to the center of the room and turning to face Lin Yu.

"Mr. Lin Yu, what type of magic do you wish to learn? Offense? Defense? Support? Or perhaps more theoretical aspects like magic construction and manipulation?"

"Let's start with basic elemental magic," Lin Yu said. "Different attributes, the more attributes the better."

Vera raised an eyebrow: "Don't bite off more than you can chew. But... okay."

Today I'll teach you three of the most basic spells: Fireball, Waterball, and Lightning Strike.

"We'll decide what to do next based on your understanding of the situation."

As she spoke, Wei stretched out her right hand, palm up, fingers slightly spread.

"Watch closely, first up is Fireball. The key is to convert magic into fire element, compress it highly in your palm, stabilize it, and then..."

Before she finished speaking, a fist-sized, orange-red fireball appeared out of thin air above her palm with a "poof," hovering quietly and burning steadily, radiating scorching heat.

The fireball's internal structure was clear and stable, and the trajectory of the magic flow was faintly visible.

"Feel the fluctuations of magic and the way the elements converge."

Vera's voice was more serious than before, carrying the earnestness of an instructor.

She maintained the fireball as she walked to Lin Yu's side.

The temperature isn't high enough; the fire element needs even stronger 'passion' to drive it!

Vera's fingers were cool, and through her skin, Lin Yu could clearly feel the delicate touch of her fingertips and the subtle force guiding her magic.

Her chest brushed against his arm almost imperceptibly, the soft pressure coming through the thin fabric of her clothes.

Lin Yu didn't even flinch, his mind focused on controlling the magic power in his palm.

A few seconds later, a steady fireball "whooshed" into shape above his palm.

Vera released her grip with some surprise, took a half step back, and looked at the fireball.

"...Success on the first try? And the structure is very stable." She looked Lin Yu up and down, her eyes filled with admiration.

"As expected of the great alchemist I've chosen."

"Continue." Lin Yu dispelled the fireball, his tone calm.

Vera smiled and began to demonstrate the water balloon technique.
