Conquer the other worlds with abandon, they've fallen in love with me!

Chapter 84 I thought you were just playing around...

Lilia's ears perked up, but she didn't look up, biting her lip to hold back her tears.

"Awake?" Lin Yu's voice rang out.

Lilia lifted her face from the pillow, her eyes and the tip of her nose were red.

Lin Yu stood at the door, holding a tray in one hand and closing the door with the other.

On the tray were two puddings, a glass of milk, and a small dish of cut fruit.

The pudding is caramel flavored, and the caramel layer on the surface shimmers with an amber light.

Lilia's tears still clung to her eyelashes, but her eyes were already bright.

She threw off the covers, stepped barefoot onto the floor, rushed to Lin Yu in two steps, and buried her face in his chest.

Her forehead bumped into his chest, making a dull thud on her own head, but she didn't care.

She wrapped her arms tightly around Lin Yu's waist, her fingertips pinching the back of his shirt.

"I thought you were gone." Her voice was muffled in his chest, buzzing.

Lin Yu held the tray in one hand and raised the other hand to pat her head.

"I went to buy you pudding."

Lilia lifted her head from Lin Yu's arms. Her eyes were still red, but the corners of her mouth had turned up.

Tears still clung to her eyelashes, shimmering in the light filtering through the crack in the door.

"Then why didn't you tell me?"

You sleep like a pig.

Lilia wanted to retort, but her mouth opened and she couldn't say anything.

She looked down at herself; her nightgown was wrinkled, the neckline was open, and there was a red mark on her collarbone.

She looked up at Lin Yu again. His expression was calm. He was standing there with a tray in his hand, as if he had just gone to the kitchen to get breakfast.

Lilia bit her lip.

"Did you...do something to me just now?"

"That's really clever." Lin Yu didn't intend to make up a reason.

Lilia's face flushed red.

She loosened her grip on Lin Yu's waist, took a step back, crossed her arms over her chest, and turned her head away.

"I'm ignoring you," she said.

Her voice was muffled, nasal, and had a slightly coquettish tone at the end.

But she didn't move her feet; she remained standing in front of Lin Yu, less than half a step away from him.

Lin Yu placed the tray on the bedside table and turned back.

He reached out and put his arm around Lilia's waist, pulling her closer.

Lilia didn't struggle; she followed his lead and fell into his arms.

Lin Yu sat down on the edge of the bed and placed her on his lap.

Lilia straddled him, her knees kneeling beside his waist, the hem of her nightgown spreading out to cover both of their legs.

Her face was very close to his, nose to nose.

"Didn't you say you were ignoring me?" Lin Yu asked.

Lilia bit her lip, staring at Lin Yu.

However, after glaring for two seconds, she softened.

She buried her face in Lin Yu's neck, her forehead against his collarbone, and said in a muffled voice, "You're annoying."

"Um."

"While I was sleeping..."

"Um."

"I thought you were just playing around..."

"Silly girl, I only bought the pudding because I was afraid you would be angry."

"Didn't you say this was your favorite food?" Lin Yu patted Lilia's head.

Lilia stopped talking, leaned on his shoulder, and tugged at his collar with her fingers.

Lin Yu reached for a pudding on the bedside table, opened the lid, and scooped out a piece with a spoon.

The caramel-colored pudding trembled in the spoon, releasing a milky aroma.

Open your mouth.

Lilia lifted her head from his shoulder, glanced at him, and opened her mouth.

"Ah~~"

The pudding melts in your mouth, its sweetness spreading across your tongue, mingled with a slight bitterness from the caramel.

She chewed twice, swallowed, and then opened her mouth again.

Lin Yu scooped up another spoonful.

The two of them just fed each other without saying a word.

Lilia ate half a pudding, then suddenly remembered something and reached for the milk glass on the bedside table.

Lin Yu handed her the cup, and she took it and drank a big gulp, leaving a ring of milk stains on the corner of her mouth.

Lin Yu reached out, pressed his thumb against the corner of her mouth, and wiped away the milk stain.

Lilia's eyelashes trembled slightly, but she looked at him without flinching.

"Lin Yu."

"Um."

"If you're going to leave in the future, please tell me. Don't just leave without a word."

I will be sad.

"it is good."

Lilia took another sip of milk, put the cup back, and leaned back onto Lin Yu's shoulder.

"Is the pudding delicious?" Lin Yu asked.

"tasty."

"Tastes better than mine?"

Lilia was stunned for a moment, then realized what she meant and blushed again.

She reached out and lightly punched Lin Yu: "You're annoying..."

Lin Yu smiled, slid his hand down from Lilia's waist, and pinched the soft flesh on the side of her leg.

Lilia twisted her body, but couldn't dodge.

"Stop fooling around..." Her voice softened.

Lin Yu didn't stop; his fingers traced up her thigh, touching the hem of her nightgown.

Lilia held his hand and looked up at him.

Her eyes were wet, and there were traces of milk on her lips.

"You...you came again?"

"no?"

Lilia bit her lip, neither saying no nor yes.

She leaned back on Lin Yu's shoulder, her voice muffled.

"Let me finish my pudding first..."

Lin Yu smiled, withdrew his hand, picked up the spoon, and continued feeding her.

Lilia ate very slowly, taking small bites, and the pudding stayed in her mouth for a long time before she swallowed it.

After taking a couple of bites, she suddenly spoke up.

"Lin Yu."

"Um."

"Could you... possibly not do it while I'm asleep...?"

"Oh? Really? I was very gentle today and didn't wake Lilia up."

Lilia kept talking in her sleep. I remember her saying, "It's so hot, I can't eat anymore, Dudu..."

Lilia blushed, opened her mouth, and finally managed to squeeze out only two words: "Bad guy~"

Lin Yu scooped up the last piece of pudding and brought it to her lips.

Lilia looked at him for two seconds with a spoon in her mouth.

Then he spat out the spoon, cupped Lin Yu's face in his hands, and pressed his lips to hers.

The sweetness of the pudding hadn't faded yet, mixed with the aroma of milk, lingering between Lilia's and Lin Yu's tongues.
