Shen Jicheng had no idea how long he had been waiting in the room.

He just sat there, his legs went numb. Plus, he'd had a few drinks at the bar, so his throat was incredibly dry and his lips were chapped.

He was about to remove the black cloth to find some water when he suddenly heard the door open. Footsteps entered, and he paused slightly.

"Who?"

"I'm a hotel employee, here to deliver water," a stranger's voice replied respectfully.

Shen Jicheng was extremely thirsty and quickly held out his hand, "Give me a bottle, I'm dying of thirst."

A bottle of mineral water was handed to him. Without removing the ribbon, he unscrewed the cap, tilted his head back, and gulped it down, emptying the bottle more than halfway. After finishing, he casually tossed it onto the bed and asked the waiter who hadn't left yet…

"How much longer am I going to sit here?"

He faced the doorway, judging from the sound that the other person was standing not far away. After a while, the person answered.

"I'm new here, I'm not quite sure... Please wait a little longer."

Shen Jicheng said "Oh" and didn't ask any more questions.

What he didn't know was that there were more than just him and the waiter in the room.

On the sofa opposite the bed, a man leaned back with his arms crossed. He stared at the blindfolded person on the bed with great interest, as if watching a good show.

The waiter received a signal from the man and quietly left, gently closing the door behind him.

Hearing the door close, Shen Jicheng assumed he was alone in the room. He was indeed tired of sitting, so he simply lay back on the bed. His mind began to wander, imagining a carefree and unrestrained life, and as he thought about it, he couldn't help but laugh out loud.

He didn't know that all his expressions and movements were being observed by the pair of dark, cold eyes opposite him.

As he lay there, Shen Jicheng sensed something was wrong.

heat.

It's very hot.

But he was only wearing a plain white T-shirt. If he took it off, he would be shirtless.

He held back for a moment.

I couldn't resist.

She took it off.

He lay on his back on the bed, his upper body completely exposed to the light. His fair skin was dazzlingly white under the incandescent light, and the prominent curve of his collarbone was particularly beautiful. His breathing became more and more rapid, and although he bit his lip, he still couldn't stop the sounds from escaping.

Pei Lin raised an eyebrow, a slight smile playing on his lips. He sat there on the sofa, leisurely enjoying the scene.

Her fair skin was gradually turning crimson. Her poor lips were bitten until they bled, making her both alluring and pitiful.

"Um……"

Pei Lin narrowed his eyes, watching as he finally couldn't hold back any longer, hastily ripping off his pants, kicking off the cumbersome fabric, curling up on the bed, his whole being consumed by desire.

His smile deepened.

She slowly got up, walked to the bedside, and said in an unusually gentle voice, "Tsk, what's wrong?"

Shen Jicheng's consciousness was already fading. The man's voice was like a potent drug, making his breathing even more uncontrollable. He barely managed to maintain his last shred of awareness, "You..."

He can't even finish a single sentence.

"You wouldn't... drink my water, would you?" Pei Lin's tone was filled with worry as he kindly explained to the last vestige of his reason, "I was just trying to experience what it was like that night... I didn't expect that by some twist of fate, you would drink it."

Shen Jicheng's mind went blank, only managing to glean a few fragmented words: medicine, he had taken the wrong medicine.

He was filled with despair. He should have never drunk that water.

At the same time, he cursed Pei Lin a thousand times over. Who the hell recreates the scene, even down to the act of drinking medicine? What is that if not a psychopath?!

Pei Lin suddenly had a small square box in his hand, and he was slowly and deliberately opening it. His movements were crisp and efficient, but his voice was incredibly gentle.

"But don't worry. Since you drank this water for me, I won't let you come for nothing."

Before Shen Jicheng could react to what those words meant, he felt a pair of slightly cool hands grasp his ankle.

Then--

A brute force pulled him over.

The drug's effects reached their peak at that moment. He couldn't resist it at all, and even instinctively wanted to get closer to that icy source. But as soon as he leaned in, his shoulder was pressed down.

Pei Lin gripped his chin, her tone unreadable, "What are you doing coming closer?"

He paused, his voice lowering, tinged with a cold, mocking smile.

"try to find*?"

Shen Jicheng could no longer understand what the other person was saying. He could only unconsciously want to get closer, to touch, to want more.

The unconscious murmur went unanswered.

"Want to feel comfortable?" Pei Lin's voice sounded like he was coaxing a disobedient child. "Of course I can satisfy you. But you have to be obedient. Answer whatever I ask."

He loosened his grip and began to explore, his voice soft, "Tell me, what is your purpose in approaching me?"

Shen Jicheng was so comfortable that he didn't want to talk.

The next second, the pain made him almost instinctively speak, "Money...for money..."

Pei Lin wasn't surprised at all. He casually unbuckled his belt, his tone as relaxed as if he were discussing what to eat for dinner.

"You need money? No problem, I have plenty."

He bent down.

"Come on, baby, be good."

The temperature continued to rise until it became scalding hot.

Shen Jicheng's voice was completely hoarse. He was breathing heavily, unable to utter a complete sentence, his words broken and choked with sobs.

"No...don't..."

Pei Lin chuckled softly. "Don't want to?" He made a move to leave. "Then I'm leaving?"

Being asked to stay again, Pei Lin's lips curled into a cold, detached smile.

"Tsk, you're such a hypocrite, baby?"

"Well……"

Pei Lin patted him lightly, as he pleased.

"How will you know if you can fit into a circle if you don't even try? Am I right?"

The only response he received was a weak gasp.

Time passed little by little. Next to the trash can, those little transparent trinkets piled up more and more.

The night is long.

It was also slow.

Pei Lin narrowed his eyes, staring intently at the person beneath him. He rode him with abandon, his Adam's apple bobbing, his voice slightly hoarse, "So alluring."

"It makes me a little reluctant to take your life."

"But people who offend me usually don't have a good ending. Let alone someone like you, who drugged me and courted death."

His voice suddenly softened, so soft it sent chills down your spine.

"What should I do...?"

He spoke slowly and deliberately. Suddenly, as if he had thought of a good idea, he said, "How about this? If you can hold out for the whole night, I'll let you go."

His eyes narrowed slightly, and the corners of his lips slowly curved upwards.

"If not, I'll throw you into the sea and feed you to the sharks."

A person's physical strength is ultimately limited.

Even though Shen Jicheng took the medicine, he couldn't stay awake all night. After Pei Lin tossed and turned, he finally passed out in the middle of the night.

Pei Lin glanced casually at the unconscious man, then coldly stood up and fastened his watch. He stood condescendingly beside the bed, letting out a snort through his nose.

"Useless."
