Chen Ping followed Lao Sun's instructions.

"Yes, I know. I can't be careless on such a big construction site!" Old Sun nodded.

When Chen Ping returned from the construction site, he patted the dust and cement stains off his trousers. Instead of going straight back to the clinic, he turned a corner and went to Zhao Guosheng's office.

Zhao Guosheng was sitting behind his desk, holding an enamel mug in his hand. The tea had already lost its color, but he didn't add any more water. He just held it there, as if he was in a daze.

Seeing Chen Ping come in, he put down the jar and asked, "I saw you go to the construction site in the backyard. Did something happen?"

Sun Xiaoyan was standing in front of the medicine shelf, holding a medicine box in her hand and comparing it with the name on the prescription. Hearing the commotion outside, she looked up and saw Chen Ping. Her eyes were slightly red, and she pursed her lips without saying anything. She then lowered her head and continued searching on the medicine shelf.

Chen Ping opened the pharmacy door and went inside. "Xiao Yan, which medicines do you need? I'll help you."
