After leaving the teahouse, Fañes kept thinking about that sentence. He walked halfway around the street and stood for a while in front of a kebab stall, his gaze fixed on the sizzling oil droplets on the charcoal fire, but the sentence kept swirling in his mind, like an audio file that was played repeatedly, automatically jumping back to the beginning after reaching the end, and then continuing to play from the beginning again. The transitions at the boundaries were almost imperceptible, like a piece of blank space that had been cut so precisely that the seam was no longer visible.

Just as Fanes was about to find a place to sit down and go through it all again, his terminal vibrated in his pocket. He took it out and saw it was a message from Hu Tao.

The screen displayed only one sentence: "Boss! Look at this new look I gave Fufu!" A photo was attached below.

Fanes opened the photo, then stood in front of the kebab stall and stared at it for a long time.

In the photo, Furyn is standing by the wall in an alley in Liyue Harbor. Sunlight shines from her side and behind, casting a warm glow on her shoulders and the edges of her hair.

Frynn changed into a Liyue-style outfit, completely different from the elaborate and gorgeous gown she wore in Fontainebleau—a light lotus-colored short jacket with a thin, pale yellow trim around the collar, and narrow cuffs that revealed a section of her wrist and the delicate silver bracelet she had just put on.

A wide belt, a darker color than the short jacket, was tied at the waist in a delicate knot. Her lower body was clad in a plain pleated skirt that reached her knees, with a circle of light pink embroidered along the hem, resembling the outline of some flower in full bloom, peeking out from between the pleats.

Funina's hair had been restyled, with a few small hair clips tucked behind her ears, revealing the full profile of her face.

Frynn held a small sachet in her hand, the tassels hanging from her fingers and swaying slightly in the wind. The background was the bustling afternoon market of Liyue Harbor, with pedestrians and stalls around her.

Fanes stood in front of the kebab stall, staring at the photo for a few seconds. Then he put down his terminal, reopened the chat window, typed a message, and sent it: "Where are you? I'm coming right now."

After sending the message, Fanes glanced at the photo again. In the photo, Funina was looking at the camera with her head tilted to the side, a faint smile playing on her lips—a smile different from the one she usually wore when holding a teacup at the Mo Mang Palace. He put the terminal in his pocket, then turned and walked quickly out of the alley.

The location sent by Hu Tao was in a small alley on the north side of Liyue Harbor. When Fanes arrived, he saw Hu Tao squatting on the stone steps at the entrance of the alley, holding an empty milk tea cup in her hand.

Seeing Fanes turn into the alley, she waved to him: "Over here! Come and see!"

As Fanes walked over, Funina was standing in front of a shop that had already closed in the middle of the alley, looking down and adjusting how she tied her belt.

Funina looked up at the sound of footsteps. When she saw Fanes approaching, her fingertips paused on the edge of her belt for a moment, then she lowered her hand. "Does it look good?"

Fanes stopped a few steps away from her and looked at her. The afternoon sun filtered through the gaps in the clotheslines hanging above the alley, casting dappled patterns of light on her shoulders.

The collar of the light lotus-colored short jacket was reflecting light slightly, and the pale yellow piping edge maintained its curve along the outline of the collar and cuffs, like a pointer precisely placed in a new position, recalibrating the proportions of the entire garment in its own way.

As she released her wrist, the delicate silver bracelet on Funina's right wrist touched lightly, making a soft, tinkling sound.

Looking at that posture, Fanes said, "Little Fufu is so cute."

Funina's ears turned slightly red when she heard that address, but her expression didn't change much: "Hu Tao said that the clothes here in Liyue suit me, so I tried them on."

Fanes took a step closer to her: "And what do you think?"

Funina glanced down at the hem of her short jacket—the row of light pink patterns shimmered in the light, lighting up sequentially along the folds of the skirt: "It's quite comfortable to wear. Much lighter than my usual clothes."

Walnut, squatting at the alley entrance, called out, "Boss! How was it? My taste wasn't bad, was it?"

Fanes turned back and responded in her direction, "Indeed, it's quite good."

Walnut squatted on the steps, continuing to insert the straw into the edge of the milk tea cup lid: "Of course! Let me tell you, there are several clothing shops in this alley, and I found this short jacket at the second one. Its collar and cuffs are finished, so it won't be as uncomfortable on the shoulders as the dresses in Fontainebleau. Moreover, the belt is tied in the old-fashioned way, leaving some room for movement at the waist, which can perfectly match the curves of her body when she walks."

Fanes glanced at Furness again; her silver bracelet tinkled softly as she bent down to adjust her cuffs. Standing in the alley, he said, "It suits you well."

Then Funina squatted down at the alley entrance, flipped out the terminal panel, took a picture in Funina's direction, and saved it to her album.
