"Um... how about we run away together?"

Lu Ze scratched his head, his voice tinged with embarrassment.

His back was still pressed against the cold metal wall, but the tension on his face, as if facing a formidable enemy, had subsided considerably.

Strangely enough, he felt little fear in the face of a Herrscher and a Judgment-class Honkai Beast.

According to Xing's intelligence, Sirin is a brutal and inhuman Herrscher, but now she seems to be just a somewhat eccentric little girl.

Of course, Lu Ze did not doubt that Xing's information was wrong.

However, there is still a difference between written descriptions and what one sees with their own eyes.

The woman standing in front of him was only up to his chest. Her long, dark purple hair was messily draped over her shoulders, and her white hospital gown was loosely draped over her body. Her golden eyes were staring at him intently.

She had countless opportunities to kill him, but she didn't.

Not only did she not wake up, she even squatted beside him and waited for him to wake up. In the illusion, she did indeed torment him quite a bit, but in the end, it wasn't real.

Lu Ze's intuition told him that the little girl in front of him was not like the incommunicable Xilin that Xing had mentioned.

When Xilin heard the words "escape together," she was slightly taken aback at first, then a smile appeared on her lips.

"escape?"

She repeated the word, her tone undisguised mockery. Not mocking Lu Ze, but mocking the word "escape" itself.

"Do I need to run away?"

Celine's voice wasn't loud, but every word was clear and forceful: "They're the ones who should run away."

As if in response to her declaration, a violent tremor suddenly came from the ground beneath her feet.

The entire Tower of Babel was trembling.

The metal walls of the solitary confinement cell emitted a low hum, the overhead lights began to flicker, and the crackling sound of unstable electricity spread across the ceiling.

Immediately afterwards, a piercing alarm sounded throughout the entire Tower of Babel.

The scarlet warning lights flashed wildly in the confinement room, casting flickering light on and off on the faces of Celine and Bella.

Celine ignored the alarms. She stood amidst the flashing red light, her expression as calm as still water, her golden eyes reflecting crimson spots, and a faint smile still playing on her lips.

"I have received divine favor, and I will bring divine punishment upon these people."

Celine reached out her hand.

Lu Ze felt a blur before his eyes, and the floor beneath his feet suddenly disappeared.

One second he was in that solitary confinement room with its red alarm flashing, and the next second, a biting cold wind rushed into his collar.

He stood atop the Tower of Babel. Beneath his feet lay the cold, metallic crown of the tower, and above him, the sky was a pale gray.

The Siberian wind, carrying fine snowflakes, lashed against my face, feeling like countless tiny needles.

The cold wind jolted Lu Ze awake completely.

He subconsciously looked around and saw Celine standing on the edge of the tower, her long, deep purple hair fluttering in the wind. Her thin white hospital gown was billowing in the wind, but she remained motionless, like a nail driven into a blizzard.

Lu Ze followed her gaze downwards, and then he saw it.

On the snowfield, countless Honkai Beasts surged in from all directions.

They swept across the ice field like a tide, converging into an unstoppable torrent.

Small rush-class Honkai Beasts raced across the snow, heavy tank-class Honkai Beasts crushed the frozen ground, and several massive temple-class Honkai Beasts took slow, heavy steps, each step leaving a deep crater in the snow.

Their sheer number is enough to send chills down the spines of anyone with trypophobia; they surge in from all directions on the horizon, completely surrounding the Tower of Babel.

The rustling sound of claws digging into the ground and the deep roars of beasts blended together, so powerful that even the howling northwest wind couldn't suppress them.

All the Honkai Beasts stopped at the foot of the tower, raised their heads in unison, and bowed their bodies towards the top of the tower—paying homage to the Honkai Queen.

The alarm inside the tower was still blaring, and the red warning lights shone through the tower's windows, appearing weak and helpless against the vast white snowfield.

The wind howled past the tower top, whipping up snowflakes. Lu Ze stood a few steps behind Sirin, looking at the overwhelming Honkai beasts below and then at the back of the purple-haired little girl in front of him.

After a moment of silence, he suddenly said:

"Spatial teleportation is so convenient."

This is Lu Ze's truest thought at this moment.

Celine didn't turn around, but her shoulders seemed to tremble slightly.

Bella turned her head to look at Lu Ze with her light blue eyes, her expression cold, but her brows were slightly furrowed.

She wondered if this person was mentally ill. Shouldn't a normal person's reaction in a situation like this be fear or awe?

"Your Majesty, are you really not going to kill this person?" Bella asked earnestly.

She was afraid that Lu Ze's mental illness would be contagious to Xilin.

Xilin still did not answer.

She stood on the edge of the tower, looking down at the Honkai beast horde that seemed to worship her, a faint smile always playing on her lips.
