The key turned the lock cylinder, producing a crisp metallic clanging sound.

After the door opened, Lu Ze reached out and pressed the switch by the door. The ceiling light inside the room turned on, and the warm yellow light illuminated a clean space.

The living room isn't large, but the layout is very comfortable.

A light gray sofa was placed against the wall, and the remote controls for the TV and air conditioner were on the coffee table.

A moderately sized LCD TV sits on the TV cabinet, next to a potted green ivy with vines hanging down, gleaming with a vibrant green luster under the light.

The floor was a light-colored composite wood floor, very clean, reflecting soft light.

The open kitchen connects to the living room. The stove and range hood are spotless, and a dry dish sponge sits by the sink.

The house is not big, but it is fully functional.

Lu Ze pulled Bangya's suitcase through the door, placed it against the wall, and then turned around to get her slippers.

Bonya followed Luze in and closed the door behind her.

She stood in the entryway, her gaze slowly sweeping across the entire living room, a hint of curiosity in her gray eyes.

After looking around, Bonya nodded slightly.

The environment is very comfortable and clean.

"Was it just cleaned up?" she asked, her tone tinged with doubt.

"What are you saying!" Lu Ze immediately objected. "Do you think I'm that lazy?"

Bonya didn't answer, but just tilted her head and pretended to be stupid.

Lu Ze snorted, expressing his dissatisfaction.

This house was an inheritance left by his parents. When they bought the house, they took into full consideration the issue of their children's future schooling and specifically chose this area with abundant educational resources.

The neighborhood has everything from elementary to high school, and there are several universities nearby, including Binhai University, which Luze and Bangya are planning to apply to.

When they go to university, they won't even need to live on campus; they can continue living here. It's only a ten-minute walk to school.

"Come on, let me show you your room first." Lu Ze's tone carried a hint of boasting. "I spent a long time tidying it up."

He walked ahead, pushed open a door on the right side of the corridor, and turned aside to give way to the view.

Bonya walked to the door and looked inside. The room wasn't big, but it was decorated with care.

A 1.5-meter single bed was placed by the window, with light blue sheets and fluffy, soft pillows.

There was a small white table lamp on the bedside table, and next to it was a yellow rabbit plush toy.

Luze knew that Bonya liked rabbits, and this was bought last week.

A simple white wardrobe stood in the corner, and the window was half open, with white curtains fluttering gently in the evening breeze, bringing in the cool air of a summer night.

"This is the room I prepared for you!" Lu Ze stood at the door, introducing it like he was showing off a treasure. "It even has a private bathroom."

Bonya walked into the room, her gaze moving from the bed to the curtains, from the curtains to the bedside table, and finally settling on the yellow rabbit.

She reached out and picked up the rabbit, pinched its ears, then turned around, wrapped her arms around Lu Ze's, and pressed her cheek against his shoulder.

"Yes. I like it very much."

Her voice was very soft, but Lu Ze heard it clearly.

He looked down at her, and seeing her lovely face, the corners of his mouth unconsciously turned up.

"If you like it, that's good."

The two then worked together to take the items out of the suitcase.

I hung the clothes one by one into the closet, put the toiletries on the bathroom shelf, and placed a few of my favorite game cartridges on the lower shelf of the bedside table.

The two cooperated very well during the tidying process, occasionally exchanging a few words such as "Where should I put this?" or "Do we need that?", just like a couple who had been living together for a long time.

After finishing these tasks, Lu Ze straightened up, clapped his hands, and looked at the room's layout with satisfaction.

He turned to Bangya and said, "All done. Bangya, go take a shower first. The class monitor is organizing a graduation dinner tonight; we'll go together later."

"it is good."

Bonya nodded, took out a set of clothes she had just put in the closet, and turned to walk into the bathroom.

As Lu Ze listened to the pattering water coming from the bathroom, a strange feeling welled up inside him.

He walked to the window, looked at the night view of thousands of lights outside, and let out a soft sigh of relief.

Starting today, it's time for the two of us to live together.
