Xingtie: My silly online friend is actually a raccoon!

Chapter 9, March 7th, the defense was broken.

Xing couldn't wait to light up the screen.

A series of images came into view, densely covering the chat interface.

Her eyes lit up, and she immediately clicked on the first one.

A blue-gray metal trash can, with faded sorting labels on its body, stands quietly in the corner.

The second picture shows yet another trash can.

The third picture is also of a trash can.

The fourth, the fifth... she scrolled through them one by one. Each photo was of a different style of trash can, some square, some round, some with flip-top lids, some with open mouths facing the sky, all at different angles and with random compositions.

There was absolutely no information about whether the plan would succeed or fail.

Xing stared at the screen full of trash cans, initially with a puzzled look on her face.

Wasn't this person trying to steal the key?

How come you still have the leisure to take pictures of trash cans?

Had the plan failed? Was his last wish before his death to be to have himself assess the quality of the garbage cans in the Tower of Babel?

But as she flipped through the pages, those question marks were quickly pushed out of her mind.

This stainless steel piece is in good condition, and the rounded edges are crafted with great care.

The design with the flip-top is ingenious, and the sealing performance is definitely top-notch.

The extra-large capacity model in the corner can easily fit an adult.

The more Xing looked, the brighter and more focused her eyes became.

Without realizing it, her upper body leaned forward slightly, and her head was almost touching the phone screen.

The golden eyes reflected the gleam of the trash can, her lips parted slightly, and her breathing became lighter.

"This is amazing...this is amazing too...I wish they were all mine..."

She murmured to herself, her voice so soft it sounded like she was talking in her sleep.

An image uncontrollably popped into my mind: I was standing in the middle of a row of gleaming trash cans, rummaging through one on the left and one on the right, finding unexpected treasures in each one.

This is simply heaven.

As she thought about it, the corners of her mouth involuntarily turned up slightly, a faint, glistening sheen appearing on her lips.

"Snapped!"

A crisp slap landed precisely on the back of Xing's head. The force wasn't great, but it was enough to bring her back to reality from her garbage can paradise.

March 7th withdrew his hand, stood behind Xing with his hands on his hips, his face full of disappointment.

"Snap out of it! What were you thinking about? You were practically drooling all over the screen!"

Xing subconsciously wiped the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand, denying it righteously: "No."

"You clearly have it!"

On March 7th, pointing to the screen full of photos of trash cans, her voice rose half a tone.

"Look at all this! Trash cans, trash cans, just trash cans everywhere! Did he take a picture of every single trash can he passed and send it to you?"

She became more and more excited as she spoke, gesturing with her fingers in the air as if she wanted to pour out all her pent-up emotions.

"Didn't he say he was going to steal the key? Why is he taking photos of a trash can?! Aren't you guys even a little bit nervous? That's an A-rank Valkyrie over there! She could easily pound him to the ground in one move!"

Xing looked down at the trash can on the screen, then looked up at the sullen March 7th, pondered seriously for two seconds, and then solemnly gave her evaluation.

"But this stainless steel one is indeed in good condition."

The defenses were completely breached on March 7th.

That's not the point!

She covered her face with her hands and let out a long, desperate sigh.

"Now I finally understand why you two can talk to each other."

The voice of March 7th came out muffledly from between his fingers, carrying a hint of weariness after realizing the truth.

"They're all birds of a feather, each one more unreliable than the last."

As she spoke, she leaned back and slammed into the soft sofa as if her bones had been removed, her short pink hair scattered in a mess on the cushions.

"I'm tired. Let's destroy it!"

She spoke those five words weakly, revealing a sense of world-weariness and disillusionment.

However, as soon as he finished speaking, March 7th, who was sprawled on the sofa, saw Xing turn her head, her golden eyes flashing with a mischievous smile, and the corners of her mouth curving into a meaningful arc.

"Are you embarking on a path of destruction?"

Xing tilted her head and asked in a serious tone, as if she were really giving advice to her best friend on her future career planning.

March 7th paused for a moment, then realized that this guy was playing on the "fate" meme.

She opened her mouth to refute, but found there were too many points to criticize and she didn't know where to begin. In the end, she could only roll her eyes, resignedly cover her face with the pillow, and let out a muffled wail.

"I'm hopeless, you're hopeless, and your online friend is even more hopeless."

"You two should stay locked up, and whatever you do, don't go out and cause trouble for others."

Looking at March 7's utterly dejected expression, Xing couldn't help but curl the corners of her mouth into a smile, and happily prepared to continue admiring the next picture of the trash can.

However, before she could even swipe to open the screen, a new message from Lu Ze popped up.

[Jin Xing's son-in-law: Calling Bat Man, are there any items in these trash cans?]

Xing raised an eyebrow and quickly typed out a reply.

[Galaxy Batman: Batman received! Can't you check if it's in stock yourself?]

The message was replied to almost instantly, so fast that Xing could almost picture the helpless yet exasperated face on the other end.

[Jin Xing's son-in-law: I've checked. Any bucket without your blessing is nothing but garbage.]

[Venus's son-in-law: I need divine blessings to expand my power.]

Before Xing could even respond to those words, a roar erupted from the party car.

"That's not how you use the power of pioneering!!"

The shout was delivered with great force, carrying a strong sense of dissatisfaction at being offended.

Everyone lowered their heads in unison, only to see Pam appear beside Xing at some point, her big red eyes burning with raging anger, her long ears twitching slightly with excitement, and the entire train conductor on the verge of exploding.

Clearly, the conductor of the Star Train had been holding back for a long time.

From the moment Luze asked to "explore the blessings of divine power," Pam felt that her professional dignity had been seriously challenged.

However, Xing simply tilted her head and looked at Pam with an innocent expression.

"How should we use the power of expansion?"

"The power of exploration is used for great undertakings such as exploring the unknown, opening up sea routes, and connecting the world!"

Pam waved her little fists and began her speech with great enthusiasm.

"This isn't for rummaging through trash cans!"

"But," Xing pointed seriously to the photo of the access card that Lu Ze had just sent on her phone screen, "we did find a way out by rummaging through the trash cans."

Pam opened her mouth, then closed it, then opened it again, until her whole face turned red, and she couldn't utter a single word.

March 7th peeked half her face out from behind the cushion, watching the scene with schadenfreude, feeling that she was finally not the only one there who was speechless after being choked by Xing's words.

Just then, the phone notification sounded again.

Lu Ze has sent another message. This time, it's not a picture of a trash can.
