The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple

Chapter 172 I'm too scared to watch horror movies at night

Lin Feng was hanging the equipment back on the rack when he heard the noise, so he stopped and turned around.

Yang Ru got up from the yoga mat, walked to the full-length mirror, turned to the side, and examined her waistline and hipline in the mirror.

The muscles he had trained were tight and smooth, and his athletic shorts were slightly damp with sweat, clinging to his shapely buttocks and outlining a sharp silhouette.

She gently pressed her hips, feeling the firmness of the muscles, then turned to Lin Feng with a smile: "Every time you lead me in glute exercises, do you always feel that the effect is most obvious from behind?"

Lin Feng finished hanging up the last elastic rope and walked over to stand behind her. In the mirror, the two of them stood one in front of the other, he was more than half a head taller, and his broad shoulders perfectly framed her figure.

Looking into her eyes in the mirror, he nodded and said, "Indeed, this angle clearly shows the proportions of your entire body. Your waist is slender, and your hips are beautifully lifted. You've been training your hips for so long, and the results are right here, which is commendable in itself."

"Thank you for the compliment, Coach Lin!" Yang Ru smiled, her eyes crinkling with pride.

In the evening, Yang Ru, having finished washing up, leaned against the sofa wrapped in loose loungewear, her hair still damp and her eyes slightly red from exercise. She looked up at Lin Feng and asked softly, "Tonight... can I stay here?"

Just as Lin Feng was about to speak, his phone rang. Shen Qianqian's profile picture appeared on the screen. He answered the phone, and the girl's soft, coquettish voice immediately came through the receiver: "Lin Feng, my mom isn't home these past few days, and I'm a little scared living alone. Can you come over and keep me company? We haven't seen each other for so many days, I miss you so much."

Lin Feng glanced at Yang Ru subconsciously.

The voice on the phone wasn't quiet, so Yang Ru naturally heard it. The smile on her lips faded a little. She lowered her head and gently drew circles on the sofa armrest with her fingertips. After a while, she looked up and said, "Go if you have something to do. I'm fine." Her tone was calm, but there was a hint of disappointment hidden in her eyes.

Lin Feng answered the phone, "I'm coming right now," hung up, walked over to Yang Ru, reached out and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, and said gently, "Message me if you need anything."

Yang Ru tilted her head back and gently pecked his chin, then smiled and nudged him, saying, "Go on, don't keep them waiting."

Shen Qianqian's home is still in that familiar neighborhood.

Lin Feng rang the doorbell, and the door opened within seconds. Shen Qianqian stood in the doorway, wearing a loose pink cotton nightgown that reached mid-thigh, making her legs appear slender and fair.

Her long hair was loosely draped over her shoulders, with natural curls at the ends. She walked barefoot on the cool wooden floor, her toenails painted with light pink nail polish, looking delicate and cute.

She wasn't wearing makeup; her skin was fair with a rosy glow. She stood on tiptoe, wrapped her arms around Lin Feng's neck, and leaned in to kiss his lips. The kiss was filled with longing and eagerness after not seeing him for many days; her fingertips gently ran through the hair at the back of his head.

Lin Feng put his arm around her waist and lifted her up. Shen Qianqian took the opportunity to wrap her legs around his waist, and the two remained in this position, kissing all the way from the entrance hall to the living room.

Lin Feng gently placed her on the sofa and leaned closer. His hand slipped under the hem of her nightgown, and his fingertips just touched the skin on her inner thigh. Shen Qianqian flinched slightly and let out a soft moan.

But the next second, his fingertips touched the padding at the edge of his underwear, and his movements suddenly stopped.

Shen Qianqian turned her face to one side, her ears turning bright red, her voice barely audible: "I... I got my period, it's only the second day."

Lin Feng was silent for a moment, then withdrew his hand from under her nightgown, gently rubbed her waist, lowered his head and placed a soft kiss on her forehead, and did not move again.

The coffee table was piled high with potato chips, chocolates, jelly, cookies, and several bottles of strawberry yogurt. The television screen was frozen on a scene from a horror movie; at the end of a gloomy corridor stood a figure in a white dress.

Shen Qianqian wriggled out of his arms, sat cross-legged on the sofa, picked up the remote and pressed play, hugging a cushion and muttering, "I don't dare watch this by myself, so I specially waited for you to come and watch it with me."

Lin Feng reached out and pulled her into his arms. Shen Qianqian instinctively hugged his waist, burying her face in his chest, only revealing half her head and one eye, timidly staring at the screen. Every time a scary scene appeared, she buried her face even deeper into his chest, her fingers tightly gripping the collar of his T-shirt, like a frightened little rabbit.

Lin Feng could feel the warmth of her against his body; through two thin layers of clothing, he could see the soft curves of a young girl. But he didn't make any unnecessary movements; he simply held her firmly, gently patting her back to soothe her silently.

The two watched the entire horror movie in one go, and then went on to watch the sequel. Most of the snacks on the coffee table were gone, and several bottles of yogurt were finished.

By the end, Shen Qianqian was already drowsy in his arms, her head resting on his shoulder, her eyes half-open and half-closed as she stared at the screen, about to fall asleep.

Lin Feng glanced at his phone; it was almost 3 a.m. He turned off the TV, picked up Shen Qianqian, and carried her to the bedroom.

Shen Qianqian's bedroom was spotless. Light blue sheets covered the bed, and a soft white cat plush toy she had won from a claw machine sat on the bedside table.

Lin Feng gently placed her on the bed, pulled the blanket over her, and lay down on the other side of the bed himself. Shen Qianqian turned over groggily, hugged his waist, pressed her face against his chest, and mumbled, "It's okay to sleep while being held," before closing her eyes and falling into a deep sleep.

Lin Feng turned off the bedside lamp. In the darkness, he could feel her breathing gradually becoming steady and deep.

When Lin Feng woke up the next morning, Shen Qianqian was still nestled in his arms, fast asleep, with a slight smile on her lips, as if she were having a sweet dream.

Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains, casting a pale golden dapple on her fair profile. Her long eyelashes cast delicate shadows beneath her eyelids. The strap of her nightgown had slipped down one shoulder, revealing her delicate collarbone and a small patch of fair skin.

Lin Feng carefully pulled his arm out from under her neck. The little girl mumbled something, turned over, and fell asleep again. He picked up his phone from the bedside table. On the screen was a WeChat message from Ye Qinghan: "Xiao Lin, Qianqian told me you came to our house last night. I wasn't home. Thank you for taking care of her." It was followed by a very ordinary smiley face emoji.

Lin Feng stared at the message for a long time, his thumb hovering above the screen.

Ye Qinghan's tone was completely different from before; it was polite yet distant, and she spoke to a student's parent in a businesslike manner.

This deliberately created distance made Lin Feng feel a strange sense of unease, a mix of irritability and inexplicable melancholy.

He turned off his phone and placed it on the bedside table without replying. He tiptoed out of bed, went to the kitchen, and opened the refrigerator. There weren't many ingredients inside, but milk, eggs, and bread were all there.

I took out eggs and bread and made a simple breakfast for Shen Qianqian. I placed it on the table and carefully covered it with plastic wrap.

He then wrote a note on a sticky note and placed it under the plate: "Breakfast is on the table. Remember to eat it when you wake up. Call me if you need anything."

After doing all this, Lin Feng changed his shoes, gently closed the door, and left the residential area.
