Shangguan Jinghong's tone remained calm, but when he said "It's not like I don't know," the curve of his lips became more pronounced, not like anger, but rather like a helpless indulgence.

Chao Yuan's project planner was already waiting at the entrance of the visitor center. He was surnamed Liu, in his forties, wearing a safety helmet and holding a stack of planning drawings.

He led the three into the visitor center, where a huge master plan of the scenic area was hanging on the wall, with the development areas of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III marked in different colors.

The first phase mainly develops the main cave of Longxi Cave and the surrounding canyon rafting route. The second phase develops two more larger side caves and a jungle crossing project. The third phase is a resort hotel and health and wellness base.

The overall design concept of the scenic area is a three-in-one combination of "cave exploration, canyon rafting and jungle trekking". The ticket, shuttle bus and scenic area are combined into one ticket. There will also be a snack area and a specialty product exhibition and sales area inside the scenic area, which will be rented out in a unified manner.

After leaving the visitor center, the planner led them along a newly paved stone path into the mountains.

Wooden railings have been erected on both sides of the road, and there is an antique-style street lamp at intervals. After walking for about ten minutes, we arrived at the main entrance of Longxi Cave.

The cave entrance is very large, estimated to be several stories high, with several thick stalactite columns hanging down. The sunlight shines through the mist and reflects a faint rainbow at the cave entrance.

The three men put on safety helmets and changed into tall rain boots at the cave entrance, with the planner leading the way with a flashlight. There were no lights installed inside the cave yet, but the walkway beneath their feet was already completed—a wooden boardwalk spanning the underground river with rope railings on both sides.

The beam of the flashlight swept across the cave walls, illuminating various unique stalactite shapes. Some resembled inverted icicles, others looked like stalagmites growing from the ground, and still others had merged into thick stone pillars.

The highest point of the cave ceiling is estimated to be several tens of meters high; even a flashlight beam cannot reach the top.

The plank road meanders along the underground river, the water flowing beneath it making a crisp echo. After walking for several hundred meters, and turning a corner, the view suddenly opens up.

This is a huge cavern, as big as several basketball courts, with dense stalactites hanging from the dome, shimmering with a moist luster under the flashlight beam.

In the center of the cavern stands a massive stone pillar that stretches from the ground to the dome, its surface etched with layers of patterns by underground water. The planners estimate that this pillar is at least a thousand years old.

Beyond the main cave lies a dense, primeval secondary forest. The trees in the forest are tall and straight, their canopies blocking out the sun.

The planner pointed to two mountain hollows in the distance and said that there were two larger side caves there, with interior spaces larger than the main cave, but the roads were not yet open and they could not be accessed for the time being.

According to the plan, the two side caves will be developed into adventure routes, without fixed trails. Visitors will need to wear professional equipment and enter under the guidance of a guide.

Then, a jungle trekking route was planned in the woods outside the cave, including ziplines, suspension bridges, and climbing walls, complementing the cave exploration. Lin Feng stood outside the cave entrance, looking at the forest before him.

The air was filled with the fresh scent of earth and leaves, and the faint sound of a stream could be heard from the distant canyon. Occasionally, a few birds would fly through the treetops.
