The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple
Chapter 23: The First Female Customer
There was silence for about three seconds.
Su Mengya slapped away Lin Feng's hand that was wrapped around her waist, then lifted her foot, the sole of her canvas shoe stepping on Lin Feng's instep.
"You brat, you dare to take advantage of your older sister?" Her eyebrows shot up, but the corners of her eyes curved.
Lin Feng hopped back half a step on one foot, rubbing his instep on the ground. "Mengya! Are you being reasonable?! You hugged me first! You kissed me first—" He pointed to his lips, "...kissed me first!"
"I was just acting!" Su Mengya said, hands on her hips and chin raised.
"Then why did you pinch me! Twice!" Lin Feng lifted the hem of his T-shirt, revealing two faint fingernail marks on his side where she had pinched him. "Look!"
Su Mengya's gaze lingered on a small patch of skin on his side for a moment. Then she quickly looked away and reached out to pull down the hem of his T-shirt.
"Alright, alright, stop talking nonsense." Her voice was a little softer, and her ears were slightly red. "You did a good job just now. I won't hold you accountable for breaking into my bathroom last time."
When he said the word "bathroom," his speech quickened noticeably, and his eyes were fixed on the utility pole at the entrance of the alley.
Lin Feng scratched the back of his head and chuckled.
Su Mengya rolled her eyes at him, then turned and walked out of the alley. "Let's go buy ice cream. It's so hot."
Lin Feng followed.
The two walked out of the alley side by side and turned into the convenience store at the entrance of the residential area.
Su Mengya pushed open the glass door, and a blast of cold air hit her. She stood in front of the freezer, bent over, and picked through the items for a long time before finally taking two popsicles.
When it came time to pay, Lin Feng rushed to scan the code, and Su Mengya didn't argue with him. She tore open the packaging of the popsicle and handed it to him.
Two people walked into the residential area with popsicles in their mouths.
There weren't many people in the neighborhood at noon. Su Mengya walked ahead, her white T-shirt billowing slightly in the wind, her high ponytail swaying behind her head.
I took a bite of the popsicle; it was crunchy and satisfying.
"Sister Mengya, how long has that Wang Jian been pursuing you?" Lin Feng asked, his voice muffled by an ice pop in his mouth.
"It's been more than three years." Su Mengya didn't turn around. "From my sophomore year until now. Last month, when our company moved offices, he showed up downstairs the very next day."
Lin Feng slowed his pace. "What does he do?"
"A junior manager at some trading company." Su Mengya took a big bite of her popsicle, making a loud crunching sound. "She thinks she can buy anything just because her family has a little money."
Saying this, she took the popsicle out of her mouth, turned around, and walked backwards while looking at Lin Feng, "Thanks for today. I'll treat you to a big meal another day."
Lin Feng watched her walk backwards, her ponytail swinging behind her head, a little popsicle syrup still clinging to the corner of her mouth, which made her even more adorable.
"What kind of feast?"
"Sister Ma's Spicy Hot Pot".
"You call that a feast?"
"I'll add some sliced beef for you, is that big enough?"
……
The two walked into the building while bickering.
One of the motion-activated lights in the hallway turned on. Su Mengya walked to her front door, took out her key from her pocket, and paused as she inserted it into the lock.
"Feed".
Lin Feng was taking out his house keys when he looked up.
"What's wrong, Mengya?"
Su Mengya looked at him, her lips moved as if she wanted to say something but hesitated, then she turned her head back, turned the lock on and pushed open the door.
"It's nothing. Don't wander around this afternoon. My mom said she's making dumplings tonight and wants you to come over for dinner."
After saying that, the door closed.
It's not like it's the first time he's eaten it, why all the secrecy? Lin Feng stood in the hallway, holding his house key and a half-eaten popsicle in his hand. He stuffed the popsicle into his mouth, took out his key, and opened the door.
Lin Feng entered the house. His mother had left a bowl of leftover rice and half a plate of stir-fried vegetables on the stove, covered with a gauze cover.
I poured the rice into the pot, turned on the heat, cracked two eggs, scrambled them, poured them in, stirred them with a spatula for a few minutes, and ate it all from the pot.
I set my alarm for 2 a.m. on my phone.
The mattress creaked as I lay down, and I put my arm over my eyes, closed them for a while, and then fell asleep.
When the alarm clock rings.
I reached for my phone, turned it off, and sat up. I sat on the bed for a few seconds, then stood up and stretched, turning my shoulders, stretching my legs, and doing a few simple stretches.
A thin layer of sweat appeared on my body.
The cold water rinsed over me, and I was completely sober.
I pulled a clean white T-shirt and a pair of dark gray casual pants from the closet. After changing, I glanced at myself in the mirror and was fairly satisfied with the overall look.
I picked up my phone to check the time: 3:05.
He stuffed his phone charger, wallet, and keys into his pocket, pushed open the door, and went out.
The subway wasn't crowded, so I found a seat and sat down.
The subway has arrived at Forest Peninsula Station.
He walked along the road lined with plane trees towards the clubhouse area. When he arrived at the entrance of Clubhouse No. 3, the access control system's camera scanned his face, and a green checkmark appeared on the screen.
I walked through the lobby, the marble floor reflecting the light of the crystal chandelier. Without stopping, I went straight to the elevator and pressed the up button.
When the elevator doors opened, Xiao Wei was standing behind the reception desk, looking down and flipping through a folder. Hearing the elevator bell, she looked up, saw Lin Feng, and smiled.
"You're here." She closed the folder and came out from behind the counter. "Perfect timing, there's still time. Let me show you today's customer information first."
Lin Feng walked over, and Xiao Wei opened the folder and handed it to him. Inside was a printed form with only a few lines of information.
He Qianwen, 36 years old, is the deputy general manager of Tianlong Group and is married.
Yoga basics: Beginner plus, practice time approximately six months.
Personality notes: Dominant type, accustomed to leading the pace.
Taboo topics: family situation, husband.
Lin Feng's gaze lingered on the last line.
Family situation, husband?
He silently repeated it to himself, then looked up, his lips moved as if he wanted to ask but hadn't yet uttered the question.
Xiao Wei has already come over.
He glanced to the left and right, then lowered his voice and whispered a few words.
"My husband is in his sixties."
After saying that, she withdrew her body, and her expression returned to the standard smile of a receptionist, as if she hadn't said anything at all.
Lin Feng suddenly realized what was going on and gave Xiao Wei a grateful smile. Xiao Wei waved her hand, took the folder back from his hand, and put it back on the table.
"The customer made an appointment at 4:30, they're usually very punctual. You have about ten minutes left, go and get ready."
Lin Feng said "okay" and turned to walk towards Yoga Room No. 3. He pushed open the door to his office, where several sets of disposable yoga clothes were hanging in the changing room. He picked up a white set, unfolded it, checked the size, and it fit perfectly.
After changing, I went to the mirror and looked at myself. The short-sleeved shirt had the right shoulder width, and the capri pants fit perfectly at the waist. The fabric felt cool against my skin, and it looked like a high-end product.
Stepping into the yoga room, the wooden floor was spotless, and the blinds on the floor-to-ceiling windows were half-open.
I did a set of warm-up exercises on the mat: shoulder rotations, leg presses, and spinal curls. After sitting for a few minutes, I felt slightly warm, so I stopped and went to the wall to adjust the air conditioner temperature.
Just as I finished adjusting it, there was a knock on the door.
