It was past 2 p.m. when the plane landed at Sanya Phoenix Airport. Fifteen people, dragging their suitcases, poured out of the arrival hall. The humid tropical air immediately enveloped them, carrying the salty smell of the sea breeze and the sweet fragrance of frangipani flowers by the roadside.

The shuttle bus drove along the coastline for about forty minutes before finally stopping in front of a seaside resort hotel.

The hotel lobby is open-plan, without walls, with only a few tall white pillars supporting a thatched roof. The sea breeze blows directly through the lobby, making the check-in forms on the front desk rustle.

Through the floor-to-ceiling windows at the back of the lobby, you can see a vast blue infinity pool and a gleaming white beach in the distance.

Lin Feng asked Wang Yue to distribute the room keys to everyone. The rooms were all pre-booked sea-view rooms, two people per room, except for Lin Feng who had a suite to himself.

Everyone took their room keys and went back to their rooms to put away their luggage. They agreed to meet in the hotel lobby an hour later and take a yacht to a nearby island that hadn't been commercially developed yet.

Lin Feng had just put down his suitcase, poured himself a glass of water, and sat down on the sofa to catch his breath when there was a knock on the door.

He stood up, walked over, opened the door, and then paused for a moment.

Wang Yue stood at the door.

She had changed out of her morning T-shirt and denim shorts and put on a pale yellow halter-neck backless dress.

The upper part of the dress features a strapless design, with two thin straps crossing over the neck and tied behind the neck, revealing the smooth back and the beautiful contours of the shoulder blades.

The skirt was very short, just reaching her upper thighs, revealing her long, straight legs without reservation. She wore a pair of flat white Roman sandals with thin straps crisscrossed around her ankles.

Her hair was loose over her shoulders, with the ends slightly curled. She had touched up her makeup and applied a glossy lip gloss.

She was carrying a canvas beach bag containing sunscreen and sunglasses, and stood at the doorway, tugging at the hem of her skirt with a hint of embarrassment.

"Mr. Lin, I've changed my clothes. Are you ready?"

Lin Feng's gaze swept over her from head to toe, lingering for a moment on her bare, long legs, before he nodded.

"This dress suits you very well. It looks even better than the floral one you wore yesterday."

Wang Yue's ears turned red instantly, and her fingers unconsciously pinched the hem of her skirt. "Thank you, Mr. Lin. Um... Su Hui picked this out for me when she went shopping with me last time. She said that I should wear brighter colors when I come to the beach. I was a little hesitant to buy this style myself, thinking it was too revealing."

As she spoke, her voice grew softer and softer, clearly indicating that she was still not used to wearing such daring clothes.

"Since you've bought them, wear them without worry. Let's go to the restaurant." Lin Feng picked up the sunglasses on the table, put them on, and walked with her towards the elevator.

At lunchtime, the restaurant featured a long seafood buffet table, with king crab legs, garlic oysters, steamed grouper, salt and pepper mantis shrimp, salmon sashimi, and various shellfish that I couldn't name.

Lu Fei and several young men from the business department had already started eating, and the table was piled high with shells that had been peeled off.

Seeing Lin Feng and Wang Yue walk in, Lu Fei waved for them to come and sit down.

Wang Yue carried the plate around the table, picked up a few boiled shrimp and a plate of steamed sea urchin with egg, and returned to her seat to slowly peel the shrimp shells.

When everyone had almost finished eating, Lin Feng stood up and said a few words. This team building activity lasted for four days in total. The company covered all the basic activities, and anyone who wanted to participate in any additional activities had to pay for them themselves.

Make sure everyone eats well, has fun, and stays safe. Please check in on the group chat every morning and evening.

After he finished speaking, everyone applauded, and several young salespeople had already started looking up diving tips for tomorrow on their phones.

After finishing their meal, everyone walked towards the beach in twos and threes. Wang Yue could have gone jet skiing with Lu Fei and the others, but she stayed behind, keeping a respectful distance from Lin Feng.

Raymond Lam slowed down to let her catch up and asked her why she wasn't going to play. She said she had read up on the jet skis online and could do it tomorrow; she wanted to explore the area today.

The two walked slowly along the beach. The sand under their feet was fine, white, and soft. Waves surged up and receded, leaving circles of white foam at their feet.

In the distance, sailboats on the sea were tinged orange-red by the sunset, and seagulls circled low overhead, emitting long cries. There was a coconut stall by the roadside; Lin Feng bought two chilled coconuts, inserted straws, and handed one to Wang Yue.

The two leaned against a coconut tree by the beach, drinking coconut juice and watching the sunset gradually sink on the horizon, turning the sky from orange-red to deep purple.

Wang Yue took a sip of coconut juice, the juice sliding down the straw into her mouth, cool and refreshing with a subtle sweetness.

"I never imagined I would be drinking coconut water by the sea. When I was little, I saw the ocean on TV and thought it was a very faraway place. Last year when I went home for Chinese New Year, I told my mom that I definitely wanted to go to the beach to see the sea, and she thought I was bragging. This afternoon, when I was standing on the beach, I suddenly felt like I was dreaming."

"You'll be able to see the sea every year from now on. Shuke will have team building activities every year, and you can go wherever you want."

Wang Yue placed the coconut on the beach chair next to her, put her hands behind her back, and tilted her head to look at Lin Feng. The sea breeze blew her hair around, and a few strands clung to her cheeks.

My gaze lingered on his profile, which was flushed red by the sunset.

Over the next two days, everyone enjoyed many activities together, including jet skiing, banana boating, and beach volleyball. Lu Fei was particularly active in the beach volleyball competition, leading his team to victory.

Lin Feng discovered that Wang Yue had an exceptionally good athletic ability—she could drive a jet ski all by herself without the coach's help, and on the way back, she even raced with the coach to see who could cross the finish line first, her laughter mixed with the roar of the engine, drifting far across the sea.

She would also take the initiative to invite Raymond Lam to participate, and when handing him a beach volleyball, her fingers would linger on the ball for a moment longer. When she looked at him, her gaze was also more open than before.

On the third day, everyone took a boat to a nearby, relatively undeveloped island. There were very few tourists on the island, with only a few scattered groups of people along the long white sand beach.

The seawater was clearer than that on the main island; standing in waist-deep water, you could see your toes and seashells on the seabed.

Lin Feng arranged for everyone to snorkel freely, and he changed into his own gear and went into the water. Wang Yue swam with him to a coral reef a little further from the shore, where colorful tropical fish darted among the corals.

Wearing a mask, she lay on the water's surface, engrossed in watching the scene, when suddenly a wave crashed over her. Before she could catch her breath, a mouthful of water went down her throat. She jerked her head up, the mask askew on her face, and began to frantically thrash about.

Lin Feng was just a few meters away from her. Seeing her choking on water, he immediately swam over. He supported her back with one hand and reached under her armpits with the other to lift her up, quickly swimming towards the shore.

Once they reached the shallow water, he placed Wang Yueping on the beach, closed his eyes, and coughed several times, coughing up only salty seawater.

Lin Feng squatted down to check her breathing and pulse, and then began to perform CPR on her—he pressed his hands together in the middle of her chest several times, then pinched her nose and bent down to give her artificial respiration.

He pressed his lips to hers, blew air into her, and then went back to press on her chest. After several rounds, Wang Yue finally coughed up a mouthful of seawater, and her eyes slowly opened.

I looked vaguely at the face that was leaning closer, and felt the lingering warmth and touch on my lips.

Lin Feng's lips were warm, still carrying the salty taste of the seawater.
