Her brother had just caused trouble at someone's doorstep. Her father had been running rampant in the nearby villages for years because of his connections at the chemical plant. Lin Feng had no connection with the Qi family, only with them during holidays.

What could she use to get him to give in? She suddenly remembered the look he had given her earlier; it wasn't a lecherous glance, but he had lingered on her for a few moments.

Looking down at the carefully dressed outfit I had put together today, I suddenly realized that all I had left was this body.

She slowly stood up and walked to Lin Feng, bending down to pour him another glass of wine. As she bent down, the collar of her silk shirt drooped, revealing a large expanse of fair skin below her collarbone and the edge of her lace bra.

Her eyelashes trembled slightly as she raised her wine glass and handed it to Lin Feng. They were very close, close enough that he could smell the faint scent of perfume mixed with white wine on her.

My fingertips were trembling slightly, and the wine swayed gently in the glass.

"Mr. Lin, I know there's no such thing as a free lunch. Whatever level of sincerity you desire, I can provide it."

Lin Feng took the wine glass she offered, but didn't drink it immediately. Instead, he leaned back in his chair and looked at her with a scrutinizing gaze.

Her face was flushed from the alcohol, the blush spreading from her cheekbones to her ears, but her eyes did not look away.

He was just saying it casually, but he didn't expect the other party to misunderstand him.

"You're quite sincere."

"I have no other bargaining chips." Qi Qing's voice was soft, but every word was clearly enunciated. "I'm in my early thirties and have worked at Chitian Chemical for over a decade. If I don't get through this, all my efforts will have been in vain. My brother's mistakes shouldn't be my responsibility, but he's my brother, and I can't watch him drag my whole family down with him. Mr. Lin, I'm doing this willingly. As long as you're lenient, you can do whatever you want tonight."

Lin Feng finished the last sip of his drink and placed it on the table. He stood up, straightened his shirt collar, and looked down at her. Her eyes were red, her makeup was still intact, but some of the lipstick on her lips had smudged while she was drinking, revealing faint lip lines underneath.

"Let's go, let's talk somewhere else."

Qi Qing picked up her bag and stood up, her stiletto heels making a crisp sound on the floor.

As she followed him out of the private room, her steps were unsteady, whether from the alcohol or from the impending events that made her legs weak.

They arrived at the restaurant entrance and got into Lin Feng's car.

The two went to the best hotel in town. Although it was called the best, it was really just a three-story hotel. The lobby had beige floor tiles, and a row of clocks hung on the wall behind the reception desk, displaying the time in different parts of the world, although most of the clocks had stopped moving.

Lin Feng booked a suite. After pushing open the door, he glanced around the room. It was fairly clean, though the leaves of the pothos in the corner were a bit yellow. The curtains were dark gray blackout fabric, which completely blocked out the outside light when drawn. The bed was made fairly neatly.

Qi Qing followed him in and stood in the center of the room, holding the bag straps in both hands, her fingers rubbing back and forth on the leather, unsure whether to sit down or stand.

My high heels swayed slightly on the thin carpet in the hotel, my ankle wobbling a little, whether from the alcohol or nervousness, I couldn't tell.

"Go take a shower first. I'll have a smoke." Lin Feng walked to the window, opened it, lit a cigarette, and leaned his elbow against the window frame, looking at the town's street scene outside.

Qi Qing responded, placed her bag on the bedside table, went into the bathroom, and closed the door. The water heater roared to life, and the sound of rushing water came through the frosted glass door.

Lin Feng finished his cigarette and stubbed it out in the ashtray on the windowsill. Leaning against the window, listening to the sound of water in the bathroom, he didn't feel much emotional.

He and this woman had only known each other for a few hours, and there was no emotional foundation whatsoever. She needed to be lenient with him, and he just happened to be interested in her—it was that simple.

When Qi came out after washing up, she was wrapped in a white hotel bath towel. The towel was large, covering her from her chest to mid-thigh, but it couldn't contain her full figure. The top edge of the towel was positioned below her collarbone, and the two full mounds were slightly deformed by the towel, creating a deep cleavage.

The lower edge of her skirt just past the middle of her thighs, revealing a pair of long, fair legs covered in moisture. They weren't covered by stockings, and water droplets still clung to her skin, giving them a damp sheen under the light.

Her hair was wet and draped over her shoulders. Her makeup had been removed, revealing her fair skin. There were a few fine lines at the corners of her eyes, but they only made her look more real.

Lin Feng drew the curtains tightly shut, walked to the bedside, and sat down. Qi Qing hesitated for a moment, then followed him to the bedside, sat down beside him, and clasped her hands together on her knees.

With her eyes closed, her eyelashes trembled slightly.

Lin Feng placed his hand on the back of her neck, feeling the warm, smooth skin there, with a few strands of damp hair clinging to the back of his hand.

He pulled her closer and lowered his head to kiss her lips. Her lips were soft, with a hint of the lingering spiciness of the liquor.

Her response was awkward; her teeth accidentally touched his tongue, then she quickly pulled away and whispered, "I'm sorry."

"How long has it been since you last did it?"

"It's been a long time. My fiancé and I were introduced by a matchmaker; he's quite traditional."

Lin Feng's fingers slid from the back of her neck to her shoulders, pushing the top edge of the bath towel down a bit, revealing her two full breasts, which popped out from the edge of the towel and were fully exposed to the light.

……

Halfway through, Qi Qing's phone suddenly rang, and both of them paused for a moment.

The phone screen was lit up, and the caller ID displayed the name "Chen Hui," her fiancé's name.

Qi Qing glanced at her phone screen, then turned back to look at Lin Feng, a hint of panic in her eyes for a moment.

After seeing those two words on the screen, Lin Feng said in a commanding tone, "Answer. Put it on speakerphone."

Qi Qing hesitated for a moment, then reached for the phone on the bedside table. His finger hovered over the answer button for a moment before he swiped it open and pressed speakerphone.

A man's voice came from the loudspeaker, sounding tired and apologetic. He said he went to her house to look for her today, but her mother said she had gone to town. He thought about it and still felt he should talk to her in person and ask if she was free tomorrow.

Qi Qing bit her lower lip, trying to keep her voice steady, and said that tomorrow might not be convenient, and they would talk about it in a couple of days.

He was halfway through his sentence...

He quickly covered his mouth, pressing his fingers firmly against his lips, forcibly suppressing the groan that was escaping his throat.

Chen Hui was silent for a few seconds on the other end of the phone, then asked her what was wrong, whether her voice sounded off, or if she had caught a cold.

Qi Qing took a deep breath to steady his voice and said that he had a bit of a cold and his throat was a little sore, and that he could talk on the phone.

Her fingers gripped Lin Feng's arm, her nails digging into his skin, it was hard to tell if she was begging him to wait or pleading with him not to...

Lin Feng watched as she covered her mouth while talking to her fiancé and suddenly found the scene quite amusing.

On the phone, Chen Hui started rambling on and on, saying that he had thought about it for a long time and felt that he still needed to apologize to her in person. He said that when he said "take it slow" before, he did not mean that he wanted to break off the engagement.

His father said those words in a moment of anger, and Qi Qing had already talked to him about it. As she listened, she bit her lower lip hard, and tears streamed down her face.

For the sake of his future prospects, he's doing this kind of thing now...

After hanging up the phone, Lin Feng chuckled and pinched the other person's cheek. "Madam, crying doesn't count towards the time limit... there's still an hour left!"
