The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple
Chapter 40 What?! I'm staying at Teacher Zhou's house tonight!
Lin Feng sat alone on the sofa; the living room was very quiet.
The sound of water in the bathroom stopped, and Zhou Mei's voice could be heard speaking to her mother in a low voice. The content was unclear, but her tone was urgent and helpless.
Looking at the bunch of grapes on the coffee table, water droplets still clung to the grape skins, glistening under the light.
I plan to leave once Zhou's mother comes out.
The show should be over by now; if we stay any longer, we risk being exposed.
About ten minutes later, the bathroom door opened. Zhou Mei came out first, her hair wrapped in a towel, her makeup removed, and her skin clean and clear, lacking her usual aloofness.
Zhou's mother followed behind, having changed into a floral nightgown and wearing a face mask that only revealed her eyes and mouth. She walked into the living room and saw Lin Feng still sitting on the sofa, his lips curving slightly beneath the mask.
"Xiao Lin, it's so late, don't go back." Zhou's mother walked to the sofa and sat down, patting Lin Feng's hand. "I just talked to Mei Mei, you'll stay here tonight. If you're busy tomorrow, go ahead and do your work. If you're not busy, take us two old folks for a stroll around Hohhot. It's rare for your uncle to come here; he doesn't usually like to go out."
Lin Feng's hands froze on his knees.
Before he could even speak, Zhou's mother had already stood up.
"Alright, you two should get some rest." She walked into the side bedroom, and the door closed behind her. The sound of the door closing wasn't loud, but Lin Feng felt like the sound exploded directly in his head.
He sat on the sofa, remaining motionless in the same position. After a few seconds, he slowly turned his head to look at Zhou Mei.
The other person stood in the middle of the living room, their hair wrapped in a towel, and their expression was similar to his.
Lin Feng's gaze shifted from Zhou Mei's face to the sofa in the living room. The sofa was upholstered in fabric and was about 1.6 meters long; lying on it required curling up quite a bit of your legs.
I looked at the floor again. The wooden floor was very clean, but there wasn't even a mat for sleeping directly on the floor.
Zhou Mei walked over, her voice low. "Forget about the sofa, my mom might come out to check on us in the middle of the night. Come into my bedroom first thing in the morning, and just say you have an urgent matter at the company and you're leaving. They'll only stay for a day or two at most."
After saying that, she turned and walked towards the bedroom, but stopped after taking two steps and turned her head to the side. "There's a new toothbrush and cup in the bathroom cabinet, go wash up first." After saying that, she continued walking towards the bedroom, her pace faster than usual, and pushed open the bedroom door and went in.
Lin Feng stood up from the sofa and went into the bathroom. The bathroom was still steamy from his shower, and the mirror was fogged up.
Opening the cabinet, I found neatly arranged spare toiletries inside.
He grabbed a new toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste, along with a light green toothbrush cup. While brushing his teeth, he stared at himself in the mirror. The water droplets on the mirror were wiped away by his fingers, creating a small, clear area that reflected his face.
The collar of the light blue shirt was still pressing against my neck, but when I reached up and unbuttoned the top button, the area around my Adam's apple finally felt a little more comfortable.
After brushing his teeth and washing his face, he took out his phone and sent his mom a WeChat message: "Mom, I'm staying in the dorm tonight, not going back home." His mom quickly replied with an "okay." He had indeed stayed in his classmates' dorms a few times before, so his mom wouldn't suspect anything.
I put my phone back in my pocket and turned off the bathroom light. I went to the living room and turned off the living room light as well.
The whole room darkened, with only a sliver of warm yellow light shining through the crack in Zhou Mei's bedroom door.
Standing at the bedroom door, I took a deep breath and then pushed the door open.
Only the bedside lamp was on in the bedroom.
Warm yellow light spilled out from under the lampshade, illuminating the sheets and pillows, while the rest of the room was shrouded in shadow.
Zhou Mei lay in bed, the blanket pulled up to her chin, revealing only her face. Her hair had been freed from the towel and was spread out on the pillow, half-dry, with a small dark water stain at the ends.
Lying on her side, facing the window, Lin Feng could only see the back of her head and a section of her neck sticking out from under the covers.
The air conditioner was on, blowing cold air out.
Lin Feng stood by the bed, unsure of what to do with his hands, which eventually hung down at his sides.
Looking at the bed, Zhou Mei was sleeping on the side near the window, while the side near the door was mostly empty. Looking at the floor, the wooden floor was indeed quite clean, and felt cool to the touch when barefoot.
"Teacher Zhou," he said in a low voice, "I'll sleep on the floor; it's not cold in the summer anyway."
I turned to look for extra blankets or quilts in the closet. I had only taken two steps when I heard the sound of a blanket being pulled back behind me.
"Come up and sleep."
Raymond Lam turned his head back.
Zhou Mei sat up in bed. The summer blanket slipped off her shoulders, revealing a black lace nightgown she was wearing on her upper body.
It's a very thin one, with two thin straps hanging on the shoulders, and a V-shaped neckline, with the skin color faintly showing through the lace pattern.
Under the warm yellow light, her collarbone revealed two clean curves. Below her collarbone, the black lace neckline was stretched open by her full breasts, and two mounds of soft, white flesh peeked out from the edge of the lace. The cleavage in the middle showed shadows of varying depths under the light.
The movement of sitting up caused her chest to sway slightly, and the lace fabric trembled gently against the contours of her skin.
When Lin Feng's gaze fell on that patch of skin, he recoiled as if burned. He stared at the bedside lamp, its shade a beige color with a small, slightly charred ring around the edge from the light bulb.
"Teacher believes in your character." Zhou Mei said this softly, but her speech suddenly quickened a bit when she got to the last few words.
She patted the empty space next to her, then lay back down, pulling the blanket up to her chest. But the neckline of her black lace nightgown was too low, and even after the blanket was on, a small section of the lace edge still peeked out.
Lin Feng stood by the bed, then went around to the other side of the bed, gently lifted a corner of the blanket, and lay down.
His body was almost pressed against the edge of the bed, with about a pillow's distance between him and Zhou Mei.
The summer quilt was very large; two people each covered one corner, and the empty section in the middle collapsed, allowing the cold air from the air conditioner to blow in through the collapsed part.
The room was so quiet that Zhou Mei's breathing could be heard.
The warm light from the bedside lamp spilled over from her side, casting a small shadow on the side of her nose.
Neither of them moved.
The only sounds in the bedroom were the low hum of the air conditioner and the breathing of the two people.
Zhou Mei moved first.
Her fingers slipped out from under the blanket, the fingertips touching the back of Lin Feng's hand, cool to the touch. She pulled them back after a moment, then reached out again a few seconds later, this time without pulling them back, just resting them on the back of his hand.
Lin Feng didn't dare to move.
You could feel that Zhou Mei's breathing had become a little heavier. It wasn't the same even breathing rhythm anymore. Sometimes she would suddenly stop for a moment and then slowly exhale.
"Teacher Zhou..." he began, his voice dry.
"Mmm," Zhou Mei responded, her voice muffled under the covers.
Lin Feng turned to face her. Her eyes were closed, but her eyelids were trembling slightly, and her lips pursed and then relaxed, relaxed and then pursed again.
He reached out and slid the back of his fingers down her cheekbone, along the curve of her cheek, all the way to her chin.
Lin Feng's fingers stopped on her chin, and his thumb gently brushed against her lower lip. Suddenly, she opened her eyes, and the two were very close.
"Don't...make a sound!"
When lips touch.
Lin Feng felt Zhou Mei's breathing suddenly become heavier, her hot breath hitting his face. Without hesitation, he took her lower lip into his mouth and gently sucked on it.
Zhou Mei let out a short hum and pressed her body against him, the blanket being squeezed between them by their movements.
His fingers traced down her neck, his palm slipping inside her pajamas; Zhou Mei's breasts were very soft...
