The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple

I won her over in the first lesson of Chapter 47!

The next pose is Warrior III.

Yang Ru begins in Mountain Pose, shifts her weight to her right foot, lifts her left foot back, leans her upper body forward, extends her arms forward, and stretches her body from her fingertips to her left heel into a horizontal line.

Warrior III pose is very stable, with the supporting leg firmly planted on the ground. The raised left leg and upper body remain on the same horizontal plane, and the hips are positioned neither too high nor too low.

The dark gray yoga pants stretched taut over her raised left leg, clearly highlighting the outline of her left buttock beneath the fabric, her gluteal muscles twitching slightly as she exerted force.

Lin Feng stood to her side, supporting her raised left ankle with one hand and pressing the other on her gluteus medius. "Extend your left leg a little further back. Feel someone pulling your heel backward. Engage your gluteus medius and lift your leg a little higher."

When his palm pressed against her gluteus medius, the muscle tensed up in his hand.

Yang Ru extended her left leg back a little, raising it higher. Beneath her dark gray yoga pants, the muscles in her left glutes were more defined due to the exertion, with the gluteal peak slightly raised.

"Hold for five breaths."

For five breaths, Yang Ru's supporting leg remained motionless. Lin Feng removed his hand from her gluteal muscles and took a half step back.

Warrior III comes after Locust.

Yang Ru lay face down on the mat with her legs together and her arms at her sides, palms facing up.

When inhaling, she lifts her chest and legs off the ground simultaneously, with her chest almost at a 45-degree angle to the mat. However, Lin Feng noticed that she mainly used her lower back muscles when lifting her legs, with insufficient involvement of her gluteus maximus.

So I squatted down beside her legs and placed my palm on her gluteus maximus. "Focus your awareness on your hips. Feel someone placing their palm on here, and when you inhale, use the strength of your gluteus maximus to push your legs up, not your waist."

Yang Ru took a breath, her gluteal muscles taut in Lin Feng's palm, the two round mounds of flesh on her buttocks pushing upwards under the dark gray fabric.

I raised my legs higher than before, but this time the tension in my lower back was significantly reduced.

"Yes, that's it. Hold for three breaths."

Three breaths have passed.

Yang Ru landed from the locust pose, pressed her cheek against the mat, and took a breath, a thin layer of sweat beading on her forehead.

The next step, the bridge style, is Yang Ru's forte.

Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground. As you inhale, push your hips up and bring your chest towards your chin.

Lin Feng squatted down next to her, placed his hands on either side of her hip bones, and lifted her buttocks a little higher. "Higher. It feels like someone is lifting your hip bones towards the ceiling."

Yang Ru pushed her buttocks up a little more.

"Hold for five breaths."

Five breaths later, Yang Ru slowly lowered herself from the bridge pose, her spine sliding back to the ground vertebra by vertebra. As her hips finally touched the ground, she exhaled a long breath.

After finishing her glute workout, Yang Ru sat on the mat and drank some water. She unscrewed the cap, tilted her head back, took a few sips, and wiped the sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand.

"Next up is the chest," she said.

Lin Feng nodded. "For chest training, we'll start with a variation of the cat-cow pose. This movement activates the pectoralis major and intercostal muscles."

Yang Ru knelt back down on the mat.

Raymond Lam led her through a set of cat-cow pose variations specifically targeting the chest area, where she exhaled and arched her back, drawing her chest inward and opening her shoulder blades to the sides.

The next pose is the fish pose. Yang Ru started from a seated position, leaned back, and supported herself with her elbows on the ground. The neckline of her dark gray long sleeves was stretched open a little by this movement, revealing a small patch of fair skin below her collarbone.

Lin Feng stood next to her, supporting her thoracic spine with his palm and pushing it upwards. "When you inhale, push your chest up a little more. Imagine someone is pulling you up from the very center of your chest with a string."

Yang Ru took a deep breath, pushing her chest out even higher.

"Teacher Lin." Her voice came from above.

"Um?"

"Is there any way to make breasts bigger?"

Raymond Lam's hand paused on her thoracic spine. "Breast size is mainly determined by mammary gland tissue and adipose tissue. Yoga can improve the thickness and elasticity of the pectoralis major muscle, making the breasts look firmer, but it won't directly increase cup size. However, through targeted asana training, you can improve blood circulation in the chest, strengthen the pectoralis major muscle, and make the breasts look better."

Yang Ru slowly lowered herself from the fish pose and lay supine on the mat. She remained silent for a few seconds.

"When you inhale, direct your breath to the front of your chest. Feel your chest cavity expand with the breath."

Yang Ru took a breath.

After the camel pose, perform a supine twist and relax.

Lin Feng squatted down beside her, gently pressing his palm on her left side of her chest. "When you exhale, let your left ribs sink down. Feel your left side of your chest completely relax."

During the long rest period, Yang Ru lay on the mat, while Lin Feng sat on the edge of the mat, looking at the clock on the wall.

I did the long rest for five minutes.

"Sister Yang, you can wake up slowly now. Move your fingers and toes, stretch, and slowly sit up on your side."

Yang Ru moved her fingers and stretched. As she raised her hands above her head, the hem of her dark gray long sleeves was pulled up, revealing a section of skin on her waist.

She turned to the side, supporting herself with her hands on the ground, and slowly sat up. After sitting up, she stretched her shoulders and looked down at her chest.

Then she stood up from the mat, walked to the wall, picked up a towel, and wiped her neck. After wiping, she folded the towel, put it in her bag, and turned to look at Lin Feng.

"Your teaching style is somewhat different from Teacher Wang's."

Lin Feng stood beside the mat, waiting for her to continue.

"When Teacher Wang taught me chest poses, she mainly practiced the combination of Upward-Facing Dog and Downward-Facing Dog." She put the water bottle into her bag. "I've done the ones you taught before, like Cobra Pose, Bow Pose, and Camel Pose. But no one has ever adjusted my shoulder blades like you have."

As she spoke, she twisted her neck again, "I'll schedule your class next time."

He turned and walked towards the door.

The door closed.

Lin Feng stood on the mat for a while, then went into the changing room and took off his white yoga clothes. He changed into his own T-shirt and pants.

As Xiao Wei approached the front desk, she was looking down at the appointment form. Hearing footsteps, she looked up, her gaze lingering on his face. "Finished? Did Sister Yang give you a hard time?"

"no."

Xiao Wei raised an eyebrow. "How did she look when she came out?"

"That's great. She said she'll schedule another class with me next time."

Xiao Wei's eyes widened a little.

Then she smiled, a smile that carried a hint of "You've got some nerve, kid." "Yang Ru is notoriously difficult to please. Sister Wang taught her for a year, and she never once praised her to her face. And you won her over in just one lesson?"

Lin Feng scratched the back of his head.

"Alright, go back now. You don't have classes this afternoon, so get some rest. We can contact you anytime!" Xiaowei turned to the next page of the appointment form.

Lin Feng said "okay" and turned to walk towards the elevator.
