After getting into the car, Lin Feng didn't rush to speak. His gaze lingered on those legs for a moment before he leaned back into his seat.

Wang Yue started the car and drove onto the main road with one hand on the steering wheel.

"Mr. Lin, where should we go first?"

"Back to Shuke. Tell me about the health company on the way."

Wang Yue began her report while driving.

The health company's recent operating data has been generally stable, with monthly revenue increasing by eight percentage points month-on-month. Online sales have risen from 30% to 45% of total sales, and profit margins remain within a healthy range. Last month, we began contacting several raw material suppliers in Northeast China and are preparing to arrange a site visit.

"The Northeast has a rich variety of local products. Ginseng, deer antler, Ganoderma lucidum, and frog oil all have a foundation for large-scale planting and breeding, and the prices are about 20% to 30% lower than in the south." Wang Yue stopped at a red light, turned her head to look at Lin Feng in the back seat. As she turned, the seatbelt tightened her shirt, outlining a distinct curve in her waist. "But the problems there are also obvious—the quality varies greatly. Some suppliers lack the necessary qualifications, and their inspection reports are incomplete. So I plan to fly there myself next week to conduct on-site inspections of three to five companies, to see their planting bases, processing workshops, and inspection processes. After obtaining samples, I'll send them to a third-party testing agency. Only after they pass the tests will we discuss cooperation."

"Quality control must be extremely strict," Lin Feng said. "Health products are different from industrial products; if there's a problem, it's a matter of life and death. How many potential suppliers do you have on hand right now?"

"We initially screened twelve companies. After the first round of phone communication, we eliminated four. I plan to visit the remaining eight companies in person and then screen them again. In the end, we will select two or three companies for long-term cooperation." Wang Yue spoke in a steady tone and at a slow pace, but she explained each step clearly, showing that she had done her homework.

"In addition, people are paying more and more attention to health recently, and the market is on the rise. We must seize this window of opportunity."

You'll personally go on the inspection tour to Northeast China; the company will cover all expenses, and you can choose the personnel yourself. After you return, give me a detailed inspection report.

"clear."

The car continued driving forward.

Wang Yue mentioned Ouyang Qian again.

"Director Ouyang has finished renovating both floors of the company building, and the various departments are moving in one after another these past few days. The third floor used to be so crowded, like a sardine can, but now it's finally spacious. She has reorganized the departments into different areas: the thirteenth floor is for functional management and human resources, the fifteenth floor is for technology and R&D, and the original twelfth floor is reserved for operations and sales."

"With such a heavy workload, can she handle it?" Lin Feng asked.

"She's a workaholic," Wang Yue chuckled. "Last time she worked overtime until 11 p.m., and the light in her office was still on when I left. She often comes to the company on weekends, either for meetings or to revise plans. But to be honest, the company's management has definitely become much smoother since she came. All those squabbles and buck-passing have decreased by more than half."

The car was parked downstairs in front of the Shuke Company office building.

Lin Feng got out of the car, and Wang Yue drove to the underground parking garage, agreeing to meet at the ground exit later.

Lin Feng walked into the office building lobby and happened to run into a few Shuke employees in the elevator. Two girls were huddled together watching a short video on their phones. When the elevator doors opened, they looked up, saw Lin Feng, immediately put away their phones, nodded, and called out, "President Lin." Lin Feng nodded and pressed the button for the thirteenth floor.

The elevator opened on the thirteenth floor, and the corridor was much brighter than when I last came. It turned out that half of the partition wall on this floor had been removed and replaced with a glass partition, allowing natural light to shine from the windows all the way into the depths of the corridor.

The company's business structure diagram and five-year plan have been newly hung on the wall. It is an acrylic display board covering an entire wall, with different colored lines marking the business relationships and development paths of the four sectors: Tianlong Group, Shuke Equipment, Health Industry, and New Energy Project.

The company logo and slogan were printed in the lower right corner of the display board. The layout was clean and neat, clearly the work of Ouyang Qian. Her presentation slides also had this style, with high information density but no unnecessary content.

Lin Feng was looking at the display board when the door to the conference room next door was pushed open.

I turned my head to look.

Ouyang Qian walked out of the conference room. Today she was wearing a dark gray shirt. The shirt was not made of thin chiffon or anything, but ordinary combed cotton, but the cut was extremely close-fitting.

Two buttons were undone at the neckline, just revealing the hollow of her collarbone. Buttoning one more button up would make her look too reserved, and unbuttoning one more button down would make her look too frivolous. She always managed to find the perfect position.

The front of her shirt was stretched taut by her figure, and through the gaps between the buttons, one could see her black bra, edged with delicate lace. She walked slowly, but with each step, her chest swayed gently, not intentionally, but simply because of her weight, a physics beyond her control.

She wore black suit trousers with perfectly pressed creases, the cuffs covering her insteps and only revealing the tips of her high heels. She carried a black folder in her left hand and adjusted her silver-rimmed glasses with her right hand as she walked up to Lin Feng and stopped.

"Mr. Lin, it's good that you're here. There are a few things that need your signature." She opened the folder, pulled out a few documents and handed them to him. Then she stood next to him, about half a step away, and continued, "The renovation acceptance forms for floors 13 to 15 need your signature. Also, the budget approval for the Northeast inspection trip is on your desk."

Lin Feng took the documents and flipped through a couple of pages; they were several purchase approval forms and personnel transfer notices. He took out a pen from his suit pocket and signed his name in the signature section.

After signing, he returned the document to Ouyang Qian, his gaze lingering on her face for a moment, then moving down her chin, neck, and collarbone, stopping for a second at her chest before looking away.

When Ouyang Qian took the documents back, she noticed his gaze.

Without dodging or deliberately straightening his back, he simply tilted his head slightly and asked, "Mr. Lin, were you listening to me just now?"

"What did you say?"

"I said, you need to sign the renovation acceptance forms for floors 13 to 15. Also, the budget approval for the Northeast inspection trip is on your desk." Ouyang Qian pushed up her glasses, her eyes behind the lenses showing a knowing look. "You're daydreaming."

Lin Feng was exposed to his face, but he showed no embarrassment whatsoever.

Leaning against the wall in the corridor, with his arms crossed, he looked Ouyang Qian up and down before speaking.

"Haven't seen you for a few days, Director Ouyang looks even more beautiful. Oh, right! Where were we? Say it again."

Ouyang Qian smiled, closed the folder, hugged it to her chest to cover the wrinkles in her shirt, and took a half step back to lean against the glass door of the conference room.

"Mr. Lin has probably said this to many girls."

"I'm telling the truth," Lin Feng said. "Let's talk in your office."
