The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple
Chapter 65 A Different Kind of Training
Her fingers trembled slightly as she opened the lesson plan, the pages making a soft rustling sound.
"I have an announcement before class begins." Zhou Mei's voice was as calm as usual, but the hand holding the laser pointer trembled slightly. "The college has decided to organize a three-day trip to Xiamen after the final exams. The school will reimburse round-trip airfare and accommodation. Students who want to go can sign up in the group chat after class."
The classroom was quiet for about half a second, then erupted into chaos. A few girls in the front row huddled together, chattering away, while a boy in the back slammed his hand on the desk and shouted "Wow!" Zhou Mei ignored them, standing on the podium watching their antics.
Her gaze swept past the noisy crowd and landed on Lin Feng in the back row. He was turning his head to talk to Shen Qianqian, a smile playing on his lips.
Zhou Mei turned her gaze away and opened her lesson plan.
"Quiet. Class is starting."
During break, Shen Qianqian placed the yogurt bottle on the table and turned to look at Lin Feng. "Are you going to Xiamen?"
Lin Feng ran his finger along the edge of the notebook. He didn't really want to go.
Going away for three days means not being able to teach for three days, and losing the money for several classes.
But when he looked into Shen Qianqian's eyes, his baby face held a hint of cautious anticipation; she seemed to really want to go out.
Are you going?
"If you go, I'll go."
"Let's go together then."
Shen Qianqian's lips curved into a smile.
She lowered her head, opened the word chain on her phone, filled in her name, and then handed the phone to Lin Feng. Lin Feng took it and typed his name below hers.
Zhou Mei stood to the side of the podium, glancing out of the corner of her eye at the two heads huddled together looking at their phones in the back row. Her fingers tightened around the laser pen, the plastic body making a slight creaking sound.
After class, Lin Feng and Shen Qianqian walked side by side toward the cafeteria.
Shen Qianqian took a plate and filled it with half a portion of rice, a portion of stir-fried broccoli, and a portion of sweet and sour pork.
Lin Feng ordered a plate of twice-cooked pork, a plate of scrambled eggs with tomatoes, and three ounces of rice. As the two of them were carrying their trays and looking for a seat, someone called out from the corner.
"Lin Feng! Over here!"
Song Yang waved to him from the table by the window. Next to him sat a fat man with four steamed buns and a plate of braised pork piled in front of him.
The two of them widened their eyes simultaneously when they saw Shen Qianqian behind Lin Feng.
Lin Feng placed the plate on the table. Shen Qianqian sat down next to him and straightened the hem of her pleated skirt, spreading it across her thighs.
Song Yang's gaze lingered on Shen Qianqian's face for a second before shifting to Lin Feng's. The fat man held his steamed bun in mid-air, forgetting to put it in his mouth.
"This is my sister-in-law?" Song Yang's lips slowly curled into a smile.
Shen Qianqian's ears turned red.
Starting from the earlobe, the redness slowly spread upwards, all the way to the edge of the earlobe. She lowered her head, picked up a piece of sweet and sour pork, and put it in her mouth, chewing very slowly.
Then she turned her head and glanced at Lin Feng. Her gaze wasn't one of anger, nor was it one of denial.
They were waiting for him to say something.
Lin Feng waved his hand. "Good friends, good friends, please stop spreading rumors!"
Shen Qianqian put down her chopsticks, somewhat annoyed.
She picked up her tray and stood up. "I'm leaving now. I have class this afternoon." She carried the tray to the recycling area, the hem of her pleated skirt swaying gently behind her knees, her steps quicker than usual.
The fat man stuffed the steamed bun into his mouth, chewed it, and swallowed it. "Lin Feng, are you really stupid or just pretending?"
Lin Feng watched Shen Qianqian's figure disappear at the cafeteria entrance, picked up his chopsticks, took a piece of twice-cooked pork, put it in his mouth, and chewed for a long time.
They were good friends to begin with.
Judging from Shen Qianqian's expression, she seems to be angry.
Lin Feng finished eating the rice on his plate, while Song Yang continued to chatter on across from him.
The fat man had already finished all four steamed buns with braised pork, wiping the grease from his mouth with a tissue. "Lin Feng, what are you thinking? Shen Qianqian looked like that, and you're telling me you're just friends?"
"Believe it or not," Lin Feng put down his chopsticks and stood up. "I have things to do this afternoon, so I'm leaving now."
Stepping out of the cafeteria, the September sun was so bright it was hard to open my eyes. I walked a few steps towards the dormitory when my phone vibrated.
It was Sister Wei calling. "Lin Feng, Yang Ru has suddenly scheduled a class for 3 PM. Can you come?"
"able."
"Then come early to prepare."
After hanging up the phone, Lin Feng glanced at the time on his phone. It was just past one o'clock.
I quickened my pace and walked into Song Yang's dormitory. I lay down on the empty bed and put my arm over my eyes.
The image that kept replaying in my mind was Shen Qianqian standing up, carrying a tray, the hem of her pleated skirt swaying gently behind her knees, her steps faster than usual.
And the way she looked at him when she turned her head. It wasn't anger; she was waiting for him to say something.
He ended up saying "good friend".
Lin Feng rolled over and faced the wall.
Never mind. I'll stop thinking about it for now.
I took my hands off my eyes, took out my phone, and set an alarm for 2:30.
When the alarm clock rang, he was dreaming that he was teaching Ye Qinghan to do the bridge pose in yoga room number two, and the style of her yoga clothes suddenly changed.
I reached out and turned off the alarm clock, sat up, and found my back covered in a thin layer of sweat. I got out of bed, washed my face, slung my backpack over my shoulder, and went out.
I arrived at Forest Peninsula at 3:00 PM, ten minutes to three. I swiped my card to enter Clubhouse No. 3 and took the elevator to the third floor.
Xiao Wei was filing a stack of appointment forms when she looked up and saw him. "Sister Yang hasn't arrived yet, go and get ready. Yoga room number three."
Lin Feng entered Yoga Studio No. 3 and changed into a white yoga outfit. He straightened his collar in front of the mirror and replaced the band-aid on the back of his hand with a new one.
Stand in the center of the mat and wait.
A few minutes later, the door was pushed open.
Yang Ru walked in, already changed into her yoga clothes. Today she was wearing a dark purple outfit, with a short-sleeved top and a neat round neckline.
The pants were tight-fitting capri pants that covered the thighs and calves. He was carrying a sports water bottle and walked to the mat, bending down to put the water bottle on the ground.
When bending over, the waist and hip lines are smooth and neat, and the outline of the gluteus maximus, which has been trained for a long time, is clearly visible under the fabric. The transition from waist to hip is smooth and natural, showing the solid effect of specialized training.
She stood up straight, facing the mirror, her expression still cold and indifferent, the corners of her mouth flat.
"Sister Yang, which area would you like to focus on practicing today?"
"Still the buttocks," Yang Ru said curtly.
Lin Feng nodded. "Okay. Let's start by activating the hip joints with the Cat-Cow pose."
Yang Ru knelt on the mat.
When doing the cat-cow pose, the pelvic tilt was much greater than the previous two times. She had practiced it at home.
Lin Feng squatted down beside her, his gaze landing on her hip bone. "Sister Yang, have you been practicing at home lately?"
"I practiced twice," Yang Ru's voice came from between her arms.
Yang Ru executed each of the following poses—Downward-Facing Dog, Warrior II, and Side Angle Pose—perfectly.
As the posture changes, the gluteal muscles tighten and stretch in an orderly manner, with a very good sense of exertion, and the muscle lines are clearly defined under the fabric.
When doing the bridge pose, she steadily pushes her hips to the highest point, fully contracting her gluteus maximus, resulting in a tight and powerful physique with a very high standard.
Lin Feng squatted down next to her, supporting her hips with both hands and lifting her up. "Higher. Tighten your glutes a little more."
Yang Ru pushed her hips up a little more, exerting even more force.
