The Secret of the Yoga Club: The Women's Identity is Not Simple

Chapter 88 ruins Fu Yongwei's reputation.

"Brother Lin," Brother Biao stepped forward to greet her, "This is Sister Hong."

Lin Feng walked up the steps. "Hello, Sister Hong."

Hongjie's gaze lingered on him for a moment.

The gaze was neither warm nor cold, as if it were appraising her. Then she nodded, turned, and walked towards the revolving door. "Come in," she said, her voice low and her tone cold.

The interior of the KTV was even more opulent than the exterior. Crystal chandeliers hung from the high ceiling, casting light on the marble floor.

The walls are inlaid with gold decorative lines, and the corridor is lined with dark wooden doors, each with a gold door number.

Waiters in uniform black uniforms moved through the corridor, carrying fruit platters and drinks.

Someone was singing in the lobby on the first floor. The man's voice leaked out from under the door, completely off-key.

Sister Hong walked at the front, her pace neither fast nor slow. Brother Biao followed beside Lin Feng, lowering his voice to say, "Sister Hong doesn't usually treat people to meals. You've got a lot of influence, kid."

The elevator went up to the fourth floor.

At the end of the corridor was an indoor swimming pool. The blue water shimmered under the lights. No one was swimming, and the surface of the water was as still as a mirror.

Next to the swimming pool was a double dark wooden door, and two burly men in black suits stood in the doorway, with earpieces on their ears.

Upon seeing Sister Hong approach, both men lowered their heads simultaneously. The one on the left reached out to search Lin Feng's body, but Sister Hong raised a finger, and the two men immediately retreated.

The private room was very large.

In the center was a round table covered with a white tablecloth, laden with dishes: lobster, abalone, steamed grouper, roasted pigeon, crab roe tofu, and bird's nest soup.

In the center of the table was a bottle of unlabeled red wine. The bottle was dark, and the vintage was not visible under the light.

Sister Hong pulled out a chair and sat down, pointing to the seats next to her. Lin Feng sat down next to her, and Brother Biao sat opposite him, picking up a bottle of red wine and pouring it for both of them.

"About yesterday. If you hadn't notified me beforehand, all of Ah Biao's card and mahjong parlors would have been raided today." She separated two wine glasses, pushing one towards Lin Feng and holding the other in her own hand. "Today, the Municipal Bureau mobilized over a hundred people, conducting surprise inspections of all the card and mahjong parlors in the entire West City. Those under my name were all shut down last night, and everything that could be investigated was confiscated. The KTVs here, they confiscated everything that needed to be confiscated too."

He raised his glass. "This glass is for you."

Lin Feng raised his glass and clinked it against hers.

The clinking of glasses echoed crisply in the quiet private room. He took a sip; the red wine was smooth and not astringent.

"Why did you help Ah Biao?" She put down her wine glass. Her pupils, beneath her single eyelids, were deep, and she looked at Lin Feng in the light of the private room.

"It's not to help him. It's to help myself." Lin Feng put his glass on the table. "Someone paid me to cause trouble. That person is Fu Yongwei, the office director of our school's business school. He previously colluded with the son of a shareholder on the school's board of directors named Wang Qingchen to drug our counselor. I happened to witness it and took the counselor away. He's held a grudge ever since, and a couple of days ago he sent some thugs to ambush me. Those thugs are Brother Biao's men. I'm not looking for Brother Biao to settle scores, but to find out who paid for this."

Hongjie slowly traced a circle with her finger along the rim of the wine glass. "Fu Yongwei, Wang Qingchen, what are you planning to do?"

"It would be best to ruin Fu Yongwei's reputation. Someone like him working in the school administration must have some dirty secrets. If we can get evidence of him abusing his power or embezzling public funds, the disciplinary committee can take him away, or do something to ruin his reputation. As for Wang Qingchen, he relies on his father. If his father knew what he had done, he would be finished without anyone else lifting a finger."

Sister Hong picked up her wine glass and took another sip.

The red wine stained her dark red lips, making them appear even deeper. "I'll take care of this. You've done me such a huge favor, I have to repay it. As for how to ruin his reputation—don't worry about that, I'll arrange it all, it'll definitely satisfy you."

She placed a piece of lobster on Lin Feng's plate. "What's your relationship with Ye Qinghan from the Municipal Bureau? Last time, Ah Biao said you mentioned her name."

"Her daughter is my classmate. I happened to help her out once before and she treated me to a meal. That day at Brother Biao's place, in a moment of panic, I mentioned her name."

Sister Hong nodded and didn't ask any further questions.

The two ate and chatted, while Brother Biao poured drinks for them.

Hong asked him some trivial questions: what his major was, where he worked part-time, and what he planned to do after graduating from university.

Lin Feng answered selectively, without mentioning specific details about being a yoga instructor, only saying that he worked part-time at a club.

When they finished eating, most of the food was still on the table. Sister Hong placed a napkin on the table. "You can stay here tonight. They have everything—karaoke, swimming, sauna. I'll have someone arrange it for you."

"Thank you, Sister Hong. I'm a little tired today, maybe next time."

Hongjie glanced at him. Then, a slight smile curved her lips; the danger was faint and fleeting, gone in an instant.

She stood up from the chair, her entire body completely covered by a black long-sleeved shirt and straight-leg trousers. "Ah Biao, take Brother Lin home."

Brother Biao responded and stood up.

As Lin Feng reached the door of the private room, Sister Hong's voice came from behind him, "I'll get back to you about Fu Yongwei in a few days."
