[Ordinary Girl] My boyfriend's brothers are all very curious about me.

Chapter 54 May I come in for a drink of water before I leave?

"What are you doing?" Sheng Qiming preemptively asked, jumping up from the ground and pointing at Lin Su, who was sitting in a chair, and Shao Huaizhi, who was standing at the door.

"How dare you two meet in secret? Aren't you afraid Zong Yan will find out? Shao Huaizhi, you shameless bastard! I'm going to tell Zong Yan!"

Shao Huaizhi hung the clothes on the hanger, casually closed the door, and asked indifferently, "Have you eaten?"

Sheng Qiming paused for a moment before saying, "I haven't eaten yet."

Shao Huaizhi walked over, took a pair of disposable chopsticks from the table and handed them to him, "Since you haven't eaten, let's eat something together."

Sheng Qiming took the chopsticks blankly, his arrogance vanished, because it was all a bluff, and he himself was quite nervous.

There were only two seats in the room, and Sheng Qiming immediately grabbed the other one. After sitting down, he glared at the person opposite him with a hint of resentment.

Lin Su was completely bewildered by his commotion; how did he suddenly reappear?

"Why are you back?" Shao Huaizhi asked.

Sheng Qiming immediately smiled smugly, "When have you ever seen me fail to come back?"

As for his private antics of crying, making a scene, and threatening suicide, there's no need to elaborate.

Shao Huaizhi twitched the corner of his mouth. He had forgotten that Sheng's father doted on his child the most, and every time it was all bark and no bite. Sheng Qiming had hardly ever been beaten since he was a child.

"I know it's all because of your complaints that I've been hurt so badly, but I'm magnanimous and forgiving you. Just don't do it again next time," Sheng Qiming said, waving his hand magnanimously, though he was actually afraid they would hurt him again.

Shao Huaizhi: "..."

Lin Su: "..."

Sheng Qiming was hungry. There were only two bowls of rice on the table. He looked at them and saw that they had both been eaten. He was looking at Lin Su's rice bowl when she immediately blocked it with her hand.

Sheng Qiming snorted, "Do you think I'd enjoy eating your leftovers?"

Lin Su glanced at him, wondering who had eaten her sandwich this morning.

Sheng Qiming picked up a piece of pork rib and, while gnawing on it, said, "Why are you guys hiding in your rooms to eat like this?"

"To prevent the dog from stealing it," Shao Huaizhi said.

Calling him a dog? Sheng Qiming suddenly lost his appetite for the meat in his mouth.

He put down his chopsticks, raised his refined and handsome chin, and said, "Even though you're just eating in the room, don't think I won't tell Zong Yan."

Shao Huaizhi's good mood for eating was ruined by him, and his tone was cold and indifferent, "Do as you please."

Sheng Qiming turned his head to look at Lin Su, "You really want me to do whatever I want?"

Lin Su said softly, "I'm glad you like it."

"He likes it my ass," Sheng Qiming snorted dismissively. "Fine, I admit I didn't catch you guys red-handed this time, but next time... hmph."

Shao Huaizhi: "Not everyone is a rogue like you, with a head full of filthy thoughts."

Lin Su: "Mm."

Sheng Qiming jumped to his feet, pointed at the two of them, and said incredulously, "You two ganged up on me?"

Shao Huaizhi: "I'm telling the truth."

Lin Su: "Mm."

"What are you 'humming' about?" Sheng Qiming glared at Lin Su. "Have you forgotten how good I've been to you?"

Lin Su blinked in confusion. "Really?"

Sheng Qiming thought for a moment and realized that there wasn't one. He suddenly felt a bit speechless and guilty. "That's because you didn't give me a chance. You always avoided me."

Shao Huaizhi said calmly, "If you hadn't acted like a hooligan first, why would she be avoiding you? Why isn't she avoiding me?"

"How did you know?" Sheng Qiming glared, then looked at Lin Su. "Why do you tell him everything?"

Shao Huaizhi: "Because I am trustworthy."

"..."

Sheng Qiming suffered a crushing defeat, and he silently shed tears of sorrow.

He couldn't sleep at night, so he called his "brain trust" in England and said, "Shao Huaizhi has gone too far. Shouldn't I report him? Let Zong Yan beat him up too."

"You only saw them eating; that's a disgrace."

"I even saw him pick up Lin Su from school!"

"And then? They just had a meal together." He Zaizhou said lazily, "Don't assume every man you see has the same feelings for you."

Sheng Qiming was a little annoyed. Everyone kept saying that he had improper thoughts, but he didn't!

He pursued Lin Su with a completely innocent heart; his body and mind were utterly pure.

"I didn't," he retorted weakly. "I just can't stand Shao Huaizhi. He gave me a really bad scolding today."

"You deserve it."

In a fit of anger, Sheng Qiming hung up the phone. He stood up and paced back and forth in the house, then drove out before dawn.

The mall doesn't open until nine o'clock. At eleven o'clock, Sheng Qiming came out of the elevator carrying more than a dozen paper bags. He barely managed to free one hand to press the doorbell.

Ten minutes later, after confirming that no one was home, Sheng Qiming took out his phone and called Lin Su.

Lin Su was borrowing books in the library. Her phone was on silent, so she didn't hear the messages. She only saw Sheng Qiming's several missed calls and unread text messages after she left the school.

Seeing him waiting for her at the door of his house in Shuijun Bay, she turned around and immediately changed direction.

When Lin Su stepped out of the elevator at Swan Bay, she opened her mouth in surprise when she saw Sheng Qiming squatting at the door of her Swan Bay home.

For once, Sheng Qiming was clever enough to stand up triumphantly. "I knew you'd avoid me."

"Is it necessary?" he scoffed. "I just wanted to give you a small gift. I'll leave after I do that so I won't bother you."

Lin Su saw the pile of paper bags on the ground in front of his house behind him. She pursed her lips and said, "I don't want them. You can take them."

Sheng Qiming: "Why wouldn't I want it? This is proof that I'm good to you!"

Lin Su: "Giving me something I don't like isn't good."

Sheng Qiming paused for a moment, then asked, "So what do you like?"

Lin Su: "I like Zong Yan, and I only want to have a proper relationship with him."

"..." Sheng Qiming was rejected again in a roundabout way. He pouted, his eyebrows furrowed, and his beautiful eyes looked at her sadly.

Lin Su said softly, "We can be friends, as long as you don't do anything strange."

"Just like you and Shao Huaizhi? You treat him as a friend?" Sheng Qiming said, pursing his lips.

Lin Su nodded.

Sheng Qiming immediately said, "Is it wrong for a friend to want to give you a small gift?"

Lin Su glanced at the at least ten paper bags behind him. "Can I just take one?"

"But I personally selected all of these," Sheng Qiming said, looking at her expectantly. "I think each one is perfect for you."

Lin Su felt a little soft-hearted under his gaze; he was just too handsome. "Then I'll take two, thank you."

"Alright, I'll deliver the rest later." Sheng Qiming's eyelids drooped, looking pitiful. "I'm a little thirsty, can I come in and get a glass of water before I leave?"

Lin Su moved the paper bags piled up by the door, opened the door with the password, and said, "Come in."
