After a long while, Im's figure slowly rose into the air.

His figure pierced through layers of churning gray smoke, like a black spear rising from the seabed, and finally hovered in mid-air.

He stared at the distant sea with a complex expression, staring for a long time. A rare and obvious emotional fluctuation appeared on his usually calm face.

He is not afraid that someone will be born into this era carrying the will of Nidhogg, Joy Boy, David Jones, and so on.

Because he always believed he had the ability to eliminate these threats, every time, every generation, no matter what form they took.

But now, something even more worrying for Im has happened.

He encountered someone he couldn't understand, someone who wielded power that didn't belong to this world.

This was the first time he had felt such intense unease since the fall of Joy Boy and his companions.

That unease was like a fine needle, piercing into his unwavering confidence.

"Where do you come from..." Im murmured softly, her voice scattering in the wind, "To come here... what are you here for? To help the new David?"

"Tap tap tap tap!"

On the ground, three figures rushed quickly toward Im. Their steps were neat and hurried, and the soles of their boots struck the broken stone slabs, making a dense and muffled sound.

When they reached directly below Im, the three of them knelt down in unison, their heads bowed, their posture humble and reverent.

"Lord Im," they said in unison.

Im's gaze shifted slightly downwards, landing on the three kneeling figures.

Those deep eyes held no superfluous emotions, like a calm lake.

"I need any information about 'Ron'." He paused, as if remembering something, and added, "Including someone named 'Monkey D. Garp'."

"Yes, Lord Im."

Im didn't speak again. In mid-air, his figure began to float slowly, flying towards the stone temple in the mountains.

"Splash!"

Half of the island has been almost completely submerged by the sea. Through the huge crack, seawater surges in continuously, like countless greedy mouths, gnawing at the remaining land bit by bit.

The surviving naval soldiers began an emergency rescue operation, their footsteps hurried across the slippery ground, shouts rising and falling.

"Guards! Guards! We've found Master Zhan Guo!"

With one of the naval soldiers shouting, a group of figures in white uniforms rushed over.

"Where's the medic? Medic, come here immediately and provide emergency treatment for Sengoku-sensei!"

"Time is of the essence; the sea is about to engulf this area!"

"They're here! The medics are here!"

"Brubru~~"

"Brubru~~"

Naval Headquarters, Kong's office.

The urgent ringing of the Den Den Mushi broke the long-standing silence in the room.

Steel Bone Kong was resting on the table, his forehead resting on his crossed arms, his brows slightly furrowed, as if he were having a restless dream.

The sudden ringing startled him awake, causing him to lean forward slightly and instinctively press his hand against the edge of the table.

"Hoo," Kong slowly exhaled, calming his breathing which hadn't fully returned to normal, before leisurely picking up the Den Den Mushi to answer the call.

"I am Kong, please speak."

"I am Garin Saint. I need your navy to immediately compile all the information about 'Ron' and send it to the Holy Land of Mary Geoise. Also, include someone named 'Monkey D. Garp'."

Kong paused slightly in the hand holding the Den Den Mushi. His brows furrowed slightly, and his lips twitched, but he ultimately suppressed the urge to ask further questions.

"Garp? Are you sure you're not mistaken?"

"Steelbow Kong, don't question the World Government's decisions. You just need to carry them out, understand?" Garin said irritably. He was furious after being humiliated and couldn't stand anyone contradicting him.

Kong's eyelids twitched. He opened his mouth, but out of respect for the World Government, he only gave a soft "hmm".

"Is things... going well?" Steel Bone asked.

"Beep beep beep~~~"

Karin Satoshi didn't answer and hung up the Den Den Mushi immediately.

Kong silently held the Den Den Mushi, his gaze fixed on the view outside the window.

After a long silence, he murmured softly, "Sengoku... please, please don't let anything happen to you."

A new world, a certain sea area.

As the sun sets, the sea is dyed a flowing golden-red color, as if someone has laid a huge silk ribbon on the water.

The water glistens, seabirds fly low, and the sea breeze, carrying a salty and damp scent, blows from afar, gentle and unhurried.

The golden nine-tailed fox demon's pace gradually slowed, its four giant claws treading on the gently rippling sea.

Ron sat cross-legged, one hand supporting his chin, his gaze fixed on the distant sky, which was tinged with warm hues.

He hummed a little tune, not very loudly.

"Victory or defeat, a single thought can make all the difference."

"Life and death are but a fleeting moment, yet their heroic spirit shines eternally."

"This land is so vast, where is home?"

"Overcome numerous obstacles, and witness the magnificent fireworks display ♫"

"I won the world, but lost her ♫"

Ron's voice was like a wisp of smoke, broken into an indistinct melody by the wind.

Behind him, Locke sat down cross-legged next to Ron, his hands on his knees. He glanced at Ron with a faint smile on his face: "You seem to be in a good mood, Ron, having just returned from the brink of death."

Whitebeard then sat down on Ron's other side, cross-legged, took out a gourd-shaped wine gourd from his pocket, unscrewed the lid, took a sip himself, and then slowly spoke, "Although the process was tortuous... the result was ultimately good."

Then he handed the gourd to Ron. "Would you like a drink, Ron?"

Before Ron could even reach out, Rocks couldn't sit still any longer. He leaned over and glanced at the gourd, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Hey, Newgate, isn't this my gourd? How did it end up in your hands again?"

While the two were talking, Ron had already reached out and taken the gourd of wine, tilted his head back and took a swig. The warm wine slid down his throat, bringing a sense of warmth.

The white-bearded man then slowly added, "I found it."

"Hahahaha!" Rocks burst into laughter, then snatched the gourd from Ron's hand, gulped down several mouthfuls, and exclaimed, "You're such a cunning fellow!"

Kaido arrived late, plopped down next to Rocks, and peered curiously towards the gourd, muttering, "Leave me a sip, Rocks! If you don't let me drink, I'll look like an outsider!"

"Get out of my way," Lockes glared at him, annoyed. "We almost got tricked by that thing because of you!"

Kaido didn't listen at all. He reached out and snatched the gourd, tilted his head back and drank it all in one gulp. He didn't care that the wine slid down his chin.

Then he stood up, walked over to the three men, pointed to the bloody welt on his back that stretched from his shoulder to almost his buttocks, and said righteously, "I did help too! See? This is the best proof!"

"Tsk~" The white-bearded man looked up at the wound: "The scar on your back is a disgrace, it's from being too slow and getting slashed."

"Newgate, you son of a bitch!"

Kaido's voice boomed, sounding somewhat exasperated, yet not truly angry.

"Hahaha~"

All four of them burst into laughter at the same time.
