Hello readers, it's hard to believe that it's already March. I started writing this book at the end of December last year, went to work for a month and resigned at the end of the month, and now I have written nearly 300,000 words.

Actually, I haven't been feeling very motivated to write these past two days, and I think there are two main reasons for this:

First, I have another job that I haven't finished. I asked about its progress the day before yesterday, but I've only just started. It feels like there's a thorn in my side if I don't finish this job.

Secondly, in March I need to prepare for the re-examination. Some people may be able to guess what the re-examination means. It is quite important for an ambitious person, so I have to spend time reading books and materials every day.

If I were only doing two things, I might be able to manage them with ease, but now that I've added writing novels to the mix, I have to do three things every day. And my writing efficiency isn't very high either; I often only manage to write two chapters during the day and afternoon.

Without completing the first two tasks, I was constantly distracted while writing the novel, which directly affected the quality of the novel.

Therefore, I may not be able to update twice a day in March, maybe once a day, or even skip a day.

But I urge readers to believe me: even if the novel performs poorly in terms of ratings and statistics, I will never abandon it or stop updating it altogether.

Many of my readers come from another novel, so comparisons are inevitable, which is only natural.

I must admit that I am just a new author, and this is my first work on any platform.

I haven't read "Dragon Raja" or many Japanese light novels. I've only read some romance web novels. Based on my imagination and years of reading, using my own experiences as material and realistic logic as a foundation, I'm exploring the path of writing novels.

In terms of writing style, I may indeed be inferior to others. After all, I never thought I would write novels, so I have never carefully read a good online novel.

In terms of plot arrangement, there may be issues such as insufficient conflict and somewhat mundane daily life, which require time to think about and resolve.

But in reality, the world doesn't revolve around the male and female protagonists. As Aristotle said, "Man is a social animal."

If a novel aims to simulate real life, then the male and female protagonists will inevitably encounter all sorts of people and develop certain social relationships with them.

Only through the operation of such social relationships can a more realistic fictional world be presented to the audience.

The novel's male protagonist, Li Mubai, can be said to be based on me, and the character model is also based on me. Many of his experiences are also based on my own personal experiences, but it is definitely not entirely autobiographical. It is 60% fiction and 40% reality.

Li Mubai's loneliness and inferiority complex are a reflection of my past, and how to get rid of inferiority complex is never something that can be achieved with just a few words.

He buried his inferiority complex deep in his heart, and bravely took the first step. Learning, making progress, and winning awards all became sources of self-confidence.

Finally, he can face it calmly.
