Liu Feng was taken aback for a moment, then realized what was happening, rolled up his sleeves, and took a step forward.

The servant's expression changed, and he shrank back.

"You dare! This is the Ding family home; it's not your place to run wild here!"

Before he could finish speaking, Liu Feng had already moved in front of him and slapped him across the face.

Snapped!

With a crisp, loud sound, the servant spun around on the spot, spitting out two bloody teeth. Half of his face swelled up like a steamed bun, and he screamed as he fell to the ground.

The other servant turned pale with fright, turned around and ran inside, shouting as he ran.

"Help! Someone's causing trouble!"

Liu Feng shook his hand and glanced back at Luo Chen.

Luo Chen stood with his hands behind his back, his expression indifferent.

"Wait."

Not long after, a commotion of footsteps came from inside the mansion gate, and seven or eight people rushed out.

The leader was a middle-aged man, burly with dark skin and a pair of sinister triangular eyes.

He started yelling as soon as he came out.

"I'd like to see which one of these dares to cause trouble in my Ding family! Are they tired of living?"

Luo Chen raised an eyebrow.

"Ding Wei, you're still the same old you."

Ding Wei looked closely and recognized Luo Chen. He was taken aback at first, then sneered and crossed his arms.

"Oh, it's you, kid? What's wrong? The Zhu family's fortunes have run out, so you've come here begging for food?"

Luo Chen smiled, but the smile didn't reach his eyes at all.

"Ding Wei, you're playing dumb. You colluded with my mine guards to steal my spirit stones. There has to be an explanation for this, right?"

After hearing this, Ding Wei threw his head back and laughed loudly.

"Hahaha—are you kidding me? Something happened at your mine, and you come to the Ding family demanding an explanation? You surnamed Luo, have you lost your mind? Do you really think the Ding family is easy to bully?"

Luo Chen wasn't annoyed. He tilted his head and looked at him, a slight smile playing on his lips.

"That's right, I'm here today to bully your Ding family, so what?"

Ding Wei's smile vanished abruptly, and a murderous intent surged in his triangular eyes.

"Luo Chen, you're overestimating yourself! Do you think we're the Zhu family's good-for-nothings? Fine, you want to bully us? Come on, let me see how you do it!"

Before he finished speaking, he sprang up, his fist wrapped in powerful internal energy, slamming into Luo Chen's face with a whooshing sound.

Grandmaster level eight, unleashing his full power.

With this punch, even a ninth-level Grandmaster would have to retreat.

Liu Feng and Wang Tie's expressions changed, and they instinctively tried to rush forward, but Luo Chen raised his hand to stop them.

Luo Chen stood still, waiting for Ding Wei's fist to reach him before slowly raising his right hand.

The two fists collided.

boom!

Ding Wei felt a surge of violent power rushing into his arm.

The bones cracked and splintered, and the person felt as if they had been struck in the chest with a hammer. They screamed and flew backward, crashing heavily into a doorpost before sliding down and collapsing to the ground.

His right arm hung limply, most of the bones broken.

He was in so much pain that he was covered in cold sweat, and his lips trembled so much that he couldn't utter a complete sentence.

"Luo...Luo Chen...you...you..."

Those from the Ding family who had followed them out were all dumbfounded.

They stood frozen in place, their eyes wide open, not daring to breathe.

Their Third Master was a Grandmaster of the Eighth Level, and he usually roamed freely in Luosha City. But as soon as the other party raised his hand, the Third Master was sent flying.

Liu Feng stood behind, his back straightening up a bit.

Wang Tie grinned, then quickly pursed his lips.

After a few moments of silence, someone suddenly realized what was happening and screamed.

"You...you dare to hurt my Third Master!"

Then someone rushed into the mansion in a panic, shouting at the top of their lungs.

"Quickly, go and fetch the head of the family!"

Chaos erupted at the entrance, with everyone's faces filled with panic.

Ding Wei collapsed to the ground, enduring the excruciating pain as he raised his head, staring at Luo Chen with a face full of resentment.

"Luo Chen...you dare to cripple my hand! My Ding family will not let you get away with this! Today, you won't leave Luosha City alive!"

Luo Chen looked down at him, her expression unwavering.

"Your Ding family never intended to let me go, otherwise, why would you have tried to steal my mine?"

He had already figured out the score in his mind.

The Ding family dared to instigate the mine guards to steal spirit stones because they thought they had found a powerful backer in Ding Quan's entry into the Crimson Flame Sect.

The Ding family, however, believed that Luo Chen had used some underhanded means to destroy the Zhu family, and that it wasn't his true ability at all.

That's why they dared to steal the spirit ore.

But Ding Wei's punch shattered any remaining hope the Ding family had.

If that's not real skill, then what is?

One punch was enough to cripple an eighth-level Grandmaster!

Liu Feng leaned close to Luo Chen's ear and lowered his voice.

"Patriarch, their patriarch must have come out, we..."

Luo Chen shook his head slightly.

"No rush, we're just waiting for the main character."

No sooner had he finished speaking than a large group of people poured out of the mansion gate.

There were more than twice as many as before, and each of them had an unfriendly expression.

The leader appeared to be nearly fifty years old, with a lean build. He wore a dark purple brocade robe and had a gloomy, eagle-like gaze fixed on Luo Chen.

Ding Buqun, the head of the Ding family.

As soon as he came out, he glanced at Ding Wei, who was lying on the ground. When he saw Ding Wei's limp right arm, his eyelids twitched violently, and the flesh on his face tightened.

"Luo Chen! You have some nerve! How dare you hurt my third brother!"

Ding Buqun pointed at Luo Chen, his anger rising instantly.

"Surround them! Don't let a single one escape!"

A dozen or so grandmasters rushed forward, forming a tight encirclement.

The blades were pointed at Luo Chen and his two companions, their cold light flashing and their killing intent palpable.

Liu Feng gripped the hilt of the knife so tightly that his knuckles turned white.

Wang Tie leaned half a step behind Luo Chen, his back pressed against the saddle, his heart pounding like a drum.

Being surrounded by more than a dozen grandmasters, it would be a lie to say you weren't panicked.

Both of them had been through the wringer, but they usually only dealt with a few martial arts masters.

Any one of these dozen or so people is more capable than the two of them combined.

Wang Tie's throat went dry. He swallowed hard and stole a glance at Luo Chen.

Luo Chen stood there, his hands hanging at his sides, his face expressionless, his eyes calm as still water.

For some reason, Wang Tie's initial panic subsided and he felt a little calmer.

The patriarch never fights a battle he's not confident of winning. Since he's not making a move, it means it's not a big deal at all.

Luo Chen glanced at the Ding family members surrounding him, his gaze finally settling on Ding Buqun's face.

"Your Ding family colluded with my mine's guards to steal spirit stones, and now you're trying to bully us with numbers. It seems you're not going to admit it?"

Ding Buqun stood with his hands behind his back, a slight smirk playing on his lips, and gave a dismissive laugh.

Whether you acknowledge it or not, what can you do about it?

He took a step forward, his eagle eyes fixed on Luo Chen.

"You injured my third brother, and there's only one outcome today—none of you three will leave Luosha City alive."

Luo Chen stared at him quietly for a couple of breaths, then slowly shook his head.

"It seems one shouldn't be too kind; if you are, you'll be seen as a saint."

He looked up and his gaze fell on Ding Buqun's face.

"Today, let the blood of your Ding family wash over the ground in front of your own doors."
