After a morning of trading, plus the 300 tons supplied by her mother, Jin Xiaoman had hand-wrapped 10,000 cotton-padded coats and 2,000 cotton quilts using blueprints, leaving her so exhausted she could barely stand up straight.

Fortunately, the harvest is gratifying. At this rate, the cotton-padded coats for section 888 will be completed today.

With cotton-padded clothes, even if the temperature drops at night, players won't be in any danger of death without blankets.

Jin Xiaoman clapped her hands, signaling Maoqiu to relay the message to the animals that she would rest for an hour and a half at noon and continue the message at 2 PM.

Just as she was about to send a telepathic message to the squirrel to tell it she was going home for dinner, a small figure came tumbling and crawling from afar.

"Manman, help!"

Jin Xiaoman stood up, put one hand above her eyebrows and looked out. She saw a snowman stretching as far as the eye could see behind the squirrel and another furball.

"My lord, we have brought back special products from the extreme cold."

Jin Xiaoman shielded the two little ones behind her, took out her long spear, and stood still.

She recalled the alliance announcement from that morning, and with a sudden twist of her wrist, the bright red tassel of her spear exploded in the air, sweeping away the three snowmen charging at the forefront.

The snowman's body shattered into pieces the moment it touched the spear, and the Heart of Purification fell to the ground with a 'clang'.

It wasn't that Jin Xiaoman guessed the location accurately, but rather that the long spear had too large a damage range and too high a damage value. With one shot, the snowman was left with only two small branches intact, stuck blankly in a pile of snow.

The squirrel and the furball squealed excitedly, "Manman is so handsome!"

The upgraded spear technique has many more moves, which I couldn't fully utilize before for various reasons. Now, facing the snowman army, it's just the right time.

She let go completely, her steps shifting and turning, her body moving gracefully with the movement of the gun, the shaft spinning in her palm in circles of silver light.

The snowmen gradually realized that something was wrong. Even though the horn in their minds was blowing louder and louder, they began to have thoughts of retreating. In an instant, they scattered and fled.

As the last snowman's purification heart fell to the ground, a figure hiding in the shadows narrowed its eyes, turned into a wisp of mist, and disappeared from the spot.

Jin Xiaoman turned her head to look at a place that was completely empty, with not even a few fallen leaves.

The squirrel hugged Jin Xiaoman's leg: "Manman, what are you looking at?"

Jin Xiaoman: "I have a feeling that there are people there."

Maoqiu looked over and said, "I'll ask the little animals if they've noticed anything strange lately."

"Okay, thank you."

Jin Xiaoman knew that Maoqiu loved desserts, so she took out a large piece of cake from her backpack: "Share it with me when you ask."

"Thank you, Your Excellency."

After escorting Jin Xiaoman and the squirrel to the door of the safe house, Maoqiu waved its two little hands: "My Lord, see you later."

Inside the protective shield, Akamaki said sourly, "My lord, see you later."

Jin Xiaoman reached out and tugged at Chi Mian: "Your master is back, and you didn't even announce it."

The emperor, dressed in red robes, twitched twice and cried out in a strained voice, "Your Majesty, return to the palace!"

A-Ye opened the door with a smile: "What a coincidence, lunch is just ready."

When Jin Xiaoman left in the morning, Eris ran back to her bedroom to sleep. She had just woken up and was being held in A Ye's arms, with a small dried fish in her mouth.

Noticing Jin Xiaoman's gaze, A Ye said, "Is this also an adult? When I was cooking in the kitchen, it kept rubbing against my leg, being very clingy."

Jin Xiaoman raised an eyebrow and hugged Eris: "So she's a clingy little cat."

She reached out and scratched Eris's chin. When Eris felt comfortable, he squinted his eyes and made a purring sound.

The group entered the house.

The table was piled high with food.

There is a rich and vibrant red-braised mutton dish with a savory aroma of meat mixed with the fragrance of cinnamon and star anise. It is mellow and not gamey. The meat is tender and falls off the bone with a gentle touch of chopsticks, and has a savory flavor with a hint of sweetness.

The iron pot was bubbling with steam, the potatoes and radishes at the bottom were soft and translucent, the goose meat was firm, and the meat juices were plentiful.

The braised pork ribs are coated with a thick sauce that clings firmly to the bones and the edges of the meat, with wisps of steam rising upwards, creating a delightful blend of sweet and salty flavors.

Red date paste cake, corn and mixed grain rice, ginger and red date pork rib soup, and spicy boiled fish are arranged around the three main dishes in turn.

Sisyphus commented: "Spicy boiled fish is number one."

A-Ye smiled and said, "Lord Sisyphus likes spicy food. I'll do some research this afternoon and make some spicy strips to whet his appetite."

'Knock knock knock—'

Someone knocked on the window. The squirrel looked up and greeted, "Lord Mountain Lord."

Lilith flicked her tail in response: "Jin Xiaoman, please help me, let Kane in."

Jin Xiaoman peeked out the window and saw a small black cat sitting in the snow, looking somewhat impatient.

Jin Xiaoman granted Kane access on her personal panel as well: "Coming to see Eris?"

"Um."

Kane followed Lilith closer, curiously observing everything. His gaze swept over Sisyphus, who was lying on the ground like a salted fish, and then he showed an incredulous expression. Under Lilith's stern gaze, he swallowed all the nonsense he had in mind.

A-Ye went into the kitchen and added two more sets of bowls and chopsticks: "Adults, please sit down and eat together."

Kane's mouth watered; it hadn't smelled such delicious food in a long time. He looked up at Lilith with expectant eyes.

After seeing Lilith nod, it jumped onto the chair, its tail swaying uncomfortably.

A voice came from outside: "Kane, look at me, Kane. Lady Lilith and Lady Sisyphus don't want me anymore. I only have you left, my dear sister."

Kane's ears twitched. He was initially happy to see his good friend, but after hearing Lilith's attitude, he said, "Even my sister doesn't want you anymore, what use are you to me?"

Did I make my sister angry?

No!

It ate the food that A-Ye had put on its plate without any distraction, occasionally glancing at Eris, lost in thought.

The group was sweating profusely during the meal. Afterwards, A-Ye took Squirrel, Eris, and Kane outside to play in the snow.

Lilith said, "The surprise I'm giving you will arrive tomorrow, so get ready."

"May I ask what the surprise is? After all, a surprise can easily turn into a shock if you don't know beforehand."

Lilith pursed her lips: "A mutated beast that you know, with an 80% mutation rate."
