She remarried.

"That's good." Lin Zhilan breathed a sigh of relief, unconsciously revealing what was on her mind.

She looked up and saw Su Lang looking at her with a smile.

Lin Zhilan glared at him. "Wouldn't it be better to remarry? If I didn't remarry, where would you find a wife now?"

"Okay, remarrying is fine!"

Su Lang carried her to the bed, knelt on one knee by the bed, bent down to cup her face, and kissed her lips.

His kiss was gentler than ever before, filled with comforting power.

The weather was hot, and with the increased pregnancy hormones, Lin Zhilan soon felt sticky all over. She couldn't help but push his face away and whisper, "I need to go to the toilet."

Su Lang was taken aback, then picked her up again and turned to walk out.

Lin Zhilan grabbed the hard muscles on his arm. "Put me down. I can walk by myself."

Su Lang had already walked out by then.

Jiang Chengzhou reacted quickly, covering Linlin's eyes with one hand and his own with the other, saying, "We didn't see anything."

……

The gaps between their fingers are wider than the strait!

Linlin, being honest, covered her mouth with her little hands and giggled, "I saw it! Daddy hugged Mommy!"

Lin Zhilan's cheeks flushed red, and she tightened her grip on Su Lang's sleeve, "Put me down right now!"

Su Lang stared at her, and seeing that she was truly embarrassed, he hesitated for a moment before finally letting her go. "Then I'll go with you to the restroom."

Lin Zhilan glared at him, then took the flashlight and ordered him to stay inside.

Su Lang sighed, watched her walk out, and quickly coaxed the two children back to their room to sleep.

Lin Zhilan quickly washed her hands and came out, only to find Su Lang standing next to her, leaning against the door frame.

Lin Zhilan bit her lip and glared at him, "Did you hear what I said?"

"What?" Su Lang pretended not to know and asked him with a smile.

Ghost letter!

Lin Zhilan clenched her fist and punched his chest, calling him a bastard.

After being punched a few times, Su Lang laughed loudly, then suddenly wrapped his arms around her buttocks and lifted her high off the ground.

In this way, his head was buried right in front of her chest.

Even though the clothes were thin in the summer, Lin Zhilan became sensitive and quickly raised her hand to push his face away.

Since she could see it but couldn't have it, Su Lang didn't bother her anymore.

Lin Zhilan laughed and pinched his cheek, and the two of them walked back to their room like that.

Jiang Chengzhou, who was still awake, heard the laughter outside and lay on the bed facing the ceiling, laughing out loud to himself.

After the couple bickered for a while, Lin Zhilan was squeezed into the corner of the bed by him. She laughed until she was exhausted and suddenly gagged.

Su Lang quickly stopped and patted her back with his hand.

Once the nausea in her throat subsided, Lin Zhilan looked up and saw him staring at her with pity in his eyes. A sweet feeling welled up in her heart. "It's nothing, just a little bit of nausea just now."

Su Lang helped her lie down and said, "You sleep first. I'm all sweaty and I'm afraid I'll bother you. I'll go take a shower and then come back to sleep with you."

Lin Zhilan nodded.

Su Lang took a cold shower, and in the dim light, he climbed onto the bed, lay down, stretched out his arm to Lin Zhilan, and hugged her in his arms.

"Go to sleep," Su Lang whispered in her ear.

Su Lang was covered in moisture, and felt cool all over.

Lin Zhilan slept soundly in his arms for a long time, and felt refreshed when she woke up the next day.

Worried about Lin Zhilan's morning sickness, Su Lang consulted Chen Hehua and bought some preserved plums from Huicheng.

As a result, after that one episode of dry heaving, Lin Zhilan never experienced any discomfort again.

The remaining preserved plums were used to make preserved plum ribs, which became the two children's favorite.

Shortly after Jiang Chengzhou started school, Linlin was also going to start kindergarten.

Su Lang had already learned about the military region's kindergarten beforehand, but on the day Linlin started school, the whole family was a little nervous.

On his little sister's first day of school, Jiang Chengzhou held her hand and told her, "If anyone bullies you, don't be afraid. Your brother is at the school next door. Whoever bullies you, I'll beat them to death!"

Su Lang patted Jiang Chengzhou on the shoulder. "Who are you going to beat to death?"

Meeting her daughter's gaze again, Su Lang clicked her tongue. "Your brother is right. If you're bullied or wronged, you must tell us, understand?"

Linlin nodded obediently.

She was the only one in the family who wasn't nervous.

Unlike the two of them, Lin Zhilan didn't view kindergarten as a terrible threat, but she was still worried that her daughter wouldn't adapt well.

"You must listen to your teachers at school..." Lin Zhilan looked at her daughter, her true intentions revealed, "You can't let anyone bully you, understand?"

She quickly added, "You can't bully others either."

"Okay." Linlin blinked.

The three watched as the teacher led her away. The little girl waved to them and followed the teacher without looking back.

Two adults and one child were left standing outside the railing.

The three of them only looked away when someone greeted Lin Zhilan.

Jiang Chengzhou went to school as usual, while Su Lang took Lin Zhilan to the hospital and then turned back.

The principal saw her and came out of the classroom. "Commander Su, is there anything else?"

Su Lang looked out the window for Linlin's figure. "It's my daughter's first day of school, and I'm a little worried she'll cry."

The principal smiled and told him to go outside the classroom. "You can stay here and watch, but don't let the children see you. If they know their parents are here, they'll be more likely to cry."

"Okay." Su Lang nodded in agreement.

In the classroom, Linlin sat in her seat, looking somewhat lost.

The classroom was filled with the sounds of crying.

The teacher was too busy to keep up with everyone else.

Linlin frowned slightly, stood up from her chair, and said loudly, "Stop crying!"

The classroom fell silent for a moment, then the children started crying even harder.

"Oh dear," Linlin climbed back onto the chair and sat down, spreading her little hands. "I can't do anything about it."

The principal couldn't help but laugh out loud, "Commander Su, your kid has quite a personality."

Su Lang touched his nose. "She is quite smart and cute."

He was anything but modest, leaving the principal speechless for a moment, but he couldn't say anything in rebuttal.

Su Lang styled Linlin's hair into an adorable Nezha hairstyle today. She looked beautiful with clear, innocent eyes.

Not to mention that all around them were wailing and howling children; in comparison, they were indeed clever and adorable.

"Su Lang?"

Lin Zhilan had just arrived at the hospital, but she was still worried, so she turned back.

I never expected to see Su Lang.

Su Lang turned around and quickly went to help her, "Why did you come here too?"

"I haven't even asked you yet, don't you have to go to work today?"

Su Lang said softly, "There's nothing important to do today, so I took a day off. I'm worried the child won't adjust."

"You've gone too far. Linlin will have to adapt sooner or later. We've protected her as she grows up, and now we need to let her learn to leave and have her own world."

Despite saying that, Lin Zhilan's heart and eyes were already on her daughter in the classroom.
