In the darkness, thousands of pairs of eyes, glowing with an eerie light, simultaneously gazed at the tailless rat, one of the three rats.

The rat with the broken tail panicked immediately.

"Is that so? The tail has been cut off!"

A flicker of interest flashed in the Rat King's moist eyes.

The rat with the broken tail looked around and saw that the other two rats were far away from him, looking like they didn't want to get involved.

He was consumed by rage, breathing on the tiny mouse, "Blackie is the one! Blackie, that vile rat, you've ruined my freedom, but it's free!"

The mice's gaze shifted to the small mouse.

"Is that so, Black Fur?" the Rat King asked.

Black Fur trembled, completely forgetting its promise to the mice.

"Big Tooth, the first vile rat, deceived me, made me unfree, it is free! I deceived Broken Tail, Broken Tail deceived Graybeard..."

The fattest rat, Big Tooth, was at a loss under the gaze of the other rats. Its mind was being read by many rats at the same time. With such frequent mental contact, it didn't have time to make up a lie.

The Rat King leaped down the steps, a wicked glint flashing in its cunning eyes.

"I understand now. To save yourselves, the three of you betrayed your own kind! How despicable! You have lost all right to be called rats!"

The rats let out angry screams.

The three mice immediately knelt down, "Your Majesty, have mercy!"

The Rat King let out a shrill laugh: "You rats should have no place here! But I'm willing to give you a chance!"

Hearing this, the three mice craned their necks and looked expectantly at the king.

The Rat King said, "Black Fur and Broken Tail, though traitors, are not the main culprits. You have a chance to rejoin the rat pack."

Black fur and a broken tail squeaked excitedly.

Big Tooth sensed something was wrong. Why wasn't his name there? It prostrated itself on the ground, pleading, "Your Majesty, have mercy!"

The Skull Rat King coldly said, "The first traitor, Big Tooth, the rat who lost his rat nature, you will die by the claws of the one you betrayed."

"Black Fur, broken tail, if you want to rejoin the rat pack, prove it with the blood of Big Fang!"

Black Fur and Broken Tail exchanged a glance, their moist eyes filled with sadness and pain. The mice had risked their lives to save each other; their bond was no ordinary one among mice.

But the Rat King has already given the order: in order to avoid being driven out by the rat horde, and in order to survive! We have no choice but to sacrifice you, Big Tooth!

Big Tooth let out a desperate scream, "I'm leaving, never to come back."

"Too late, Big Tooth! You die! We live!"

Black Hair and the broken tail lunged at Big Tooth at the same time.

The three mice were entangled together, wishing they could tear each other's fur off.

Seeing this, the Rat King laughed with satisfaction and said, "Look closely, my rat people, this is the consequence of betraying the rat pack."

In the filthy, dark sewers, pairs of eyes gleamed with an eerie light, like spectators on a stage, watching the carnage with amusement.

After losing a tail and an ear, the battered Big Tooth realized in despair that it couldn't beat Black Fur and the broken tail, and its only hope of survival was to escape from here.

They fled to a place where the rats dared not approach.

A blurry figure appeared in Big Tooth's mind: humans kept their promise and released it, but its own kind wanted to kill it!
