My Dongguan Love Story

Chapter 209 Su Qin's Idea

Feeling the soft, warm touch beneath me, my heart tightened. I quickly propped myself up and moved to sit on the side of the bed, deliberately creating some distance.

Seeing that I was avoiding her, Su Qin, supporting her weak body, got up, wrapped her arms around mine, and snuggled against me softly, her voice filled with a pitiful, coquettish tone: "Dazhuang, will you stay and keep me company?"

Her face was flushed, her eyes were delicate, and she looked so pitiful that I felt a sudden flutter in my heart.

I quickly composed myself and forcibly suppressed the distracting and evil thoughts in my mind.

Although Tang Yan and I have broken up, I just reconciled with Lin Huimin yesterday. I'm currently surrounded by a lot of entanglements, so I absolutely cannot do anything reckless again.

I gently pried her hands away, picked up the pillow against the wall, and said in a gentle but firm tone, "You still have a fever and aren't feeling well, so go to sleep."

After I finished speaking, I got up to leave the bedroom. As soon as I turned around, I looked up and bumped into my cousin's wife at the door.

She crossed her arms, her face dark, and stared at me with a scrutinizing and appraising look in her eyes.

I only intended to grab a pillow and leave, so I didn't close the door. She definitely saw everything that just happened.

My cousin's wife leaned against the door frame and deliberately imitated Su Qin's coquettish tone, saying, "Dazhuang, just keep me company, okay?"

After saying that, she shuddered and muttered under her breath, "Oh dear, it's so mushy."

I was immediately embarrassed and subconsciously looked at the bed. Su Qin was blushing with embarrassment and hurriedly pulled the quilt over her head, even her ears were flushed.

I looked helplessly at my cousin's wife: "Cousin's wife, why are you peeking through the doorway?"

My cousin's wife shrugged indifferently and said matter-of-factly, "Who was peeping? There was a loud thud in the room just now, which startled me. I thought something had happened and rushed over to check, but I didn't expect to see you having a good time."

My face flushed instantly, and I said helplessly, "Sister-in-law, please stop teasing me like that."

I was really uneasy, afraid that she would tell Lin Huimin about it. Lin Huimin and I had just managed to reconcile, and there were still some misunderstandings in our relationship. We couldn't afford any more trouble. If word got out, I would have no way to defend myself.

I gently closed the door and went to the living room. I saw my cousin's wife already sitting on the sofa. I quickly pleaded in a low voice, "Cousin's wife, please, please don't tell Huimin about this tonight."

My cousin's wife shrugged slightly and readily agreed: "Alright, I'll keep it a secret for you, but you should know better and be more discreet in the future, and don't go around attracting unwanted attention."

"Yes, I know what I'm doing."

With my cousin's wife's nod of agreement, I finally felt completely relieved. I sat down, picked up two bottles of ice-cold beer from the table, handed her one, and said with a smile, "Cousin's wife, it's hot, have some beer to cool off."

We clinked glasses and took a few sips of ice-cold beer. A question had been nagging at me, and I couldn't help but ask, "Sister-in-law, why did you suddenly move back in here?"

A while ago, she complained that Tang Yan and I were making too much noise at night and couldn't stand the noise in the house, so she moved to the company dormitory and hadn't set foot here for so long. Her sudden return today inevitably made me feel strange.

My cousin's wife glanced at me, her tone teasing, "What, afraid I'll come back and ruin your good time?"

I quickly waved my hand and smiled wryly, "No way, I didn't mean that."

My cousin's wife smiled slightly, not bothering to tease me further. She grabbed the beer in her hand, tilted her head back, and chugged it down in one go, emptying the bottle in a clean and efficient manner.

He then grabbed the half-finished bottle next to me, downed it all in one gulp, let out a long sigh, and exclaimed, "That felt great!"

After a few drinks, a faint blush rose to her cheeks. She got up, went to the refrigerator, and brought out several bottles of beer, placing them on the coffee table. After opening a bottle and taking a sip, she slowly said to me, "It's so much more comfortable living at home. The company dormitory has too many rules and regulations; it's too oppressive. Since Tang Yan has moved out, I plan to move back and live here permanently."

As she spoke, she pointed to her room and instructed, "Later, pack all of Lin Guilian's things and clothes that she left in my room and move them to Tang Yan's empty room. Starting tonight, I'll be staying here permanently."

"Okay." I nodded, drinking as I answered, without saying another word.

I knew perfectly well that my cousin's wife was unhappy about where she lived and was using drinking to vent her emotions.

We chatted and drank for most of the night until my cousin's wife was so drunk that her eyes were glazed over and her steps were unsteady. Only then did I help her stagger into the bedroom.

They helped her sit up on the bed. Her head was spinning, and she was completely dazed and listless.

Remembering her previous instructions, I turned and went to the wardrobe to pack Lin Guilian's clothes. She didn't have many clothes to begin with, only five or six sets of outerwear in total, which I quickly organized.

With a pile of underwear mixed together, I couldn't tell which ones belonged to Lin Guilian and which ones to my cousin's wife. Just as I was about to ask her, I turned around and saw that my cousin's wife had already slumped on the bed and fallen into a deep sleep.

Afraid she would catch a cold at night, I went over and gently covered her with a thin blanket. Just as I bent down to cover her, I heard her mumbling incoherently in her sleep.

Curious, I leaned down and put my ear closer, but I still couldn't hear clearly.

I dared not linger any longer. I quickly straightened up, picked up my packed clothes, and quietly left the room, closing the door behind me.

After putting all the clothes into Tang Yan's empty bedroom, I took a pillow and lay down on the sofa in the living room.

The night was sweltering, and having just drunk quite a bit of beer, I felt unbearably hot. This rented apartment didn't have a fan, so there wasn't a breath of cool air inside. I simply took off my shirt and sprawled naked on the sofa.

A gentle evening breeze blew, and the effects of the alcohol began to rise. Before long, my eyelids grew heavy, and I slowly closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Time flew by and it was past 3 a.m.

Su Qin woke up groggily in bed, still feeling dizzy from the fever. She rubbed her throbbing temples and looked around blankly.

In the unfamiliar room with unfamiliar furniture, feeling weak and having just woken up, she was momentarily disoriented and at a loss.

After a moment of stunned silence, her groggy mind slowly cleared, and she remembered that Da Zhuang had rescued her from the nightclub that day and placed her in this rented room.

She raised her hand to touch her forehead; it was still burning hot, and her throat was dry and sore. Supporting her weak body, she slowly got out of bed, put on her slippers, and walked gently to the bedroom door, opening it softly.

In the dim light of the living room, a familiar figure lay on the sofa. Su Qin looked closely and saw that it was Da Zhuang, fast asleep.

She felt weak all over and slowly walked to the sofa. She glanced at a bottle of opened mineral water on the coffee table, not caring who had drunk from it. The burning thirst in her throat forced her to not think twice and she picked it up and gulped down several mouthfuls.

But it didn't quench her thirst at all, so she simply tilted her head back and drank the rest of the mineral water in one gulp.

He drank too quickly, and water spilled from the corner of his mouth, trickling down his long neck and seeping deep into his collar. A cool sensation instantly washed over his neck and chest, dispelling some of the heat in his body.

Su Qin picked up a tissue from the coffee table, slowly wiped away the water stains, and sat down wearily on the edge of the sofa, quietly staring at the sleeping Da Zhuang, her eyes slowly becoming hazy and gentle.

She knew in her heart that she had long harbored feelings for Dazhuang. When the Hunan gang set up a trap to ambush Dazhuang, she even secretly fantasized about personally testing the legendary Dazhuang's extraordinary abilities.

Previously, she had repeatedly taken the initiative to approach him, but Dazhuang remained unmoved. Last night, though she was out of control and deliberately moved closer, Dazhuang still maintained proper boundaries and did not overstep them in the slightest.

After being rejected time and again, Su Qin felt disappointed and discouraged. But the more she couldn't have him, the more she missed him and the more she couldn't let go of him.

She shifted her body and sat down in front of Da Zhuang, looking at his smooth, muscular body. She couldn't help but reach out and gently poke his firm abs with her fingertips, feeling their firmness and elasticity. She muttered to herself, "With such a strong body, he must be quite strong," and her mind began to wander.

Looking at Dazhuang, who was fast asleep, she felt that this opportunity to be alone with him was rare and she did not want to miss it.

She glanced instinctively at her cousin's tightly closed door, secretly wondering who was inside. A sense of unease crept in, and she subconsciously regarded the woman as a rival in love.

After thinking for a moment, she gently moved closer to Dazhuang's side, carefully snuggling up to him. She wanted to use this close interaction to slowly close the distance between them, dispel the alienation and defensiveness in Dazhuang's heart, and also to use this intimacy to subtly express her feelings, letting others understand her feelings for Dazhuang and silently dispelling any other people's thoughts.

Su Qin made up her mind, gently moved to the inside of the sofa and lay down next to Da Zhuang. She reached out and hugged him tightly. After hesitating for a moment, she quietly placed his hand on her waist.

Fortunately, the sofa was spacious enough that the two of them could lie down comfortably, even though it was a bit cramped. They snuggled together and gradually closed their eyes.

As morning sunlight streamed through the window, Li Qing slowly opened her eyes. Her head was still throbbing from the hangover; she rubbed her forehead, got up, and prepared to go out to wash up.

But as soon as she stepped into the living room, the scene before her eyes made her stop in her tracks. There she saw Dazhuang and Suqin sleeping together, their bodies pressed tightly together in an intimate pose.
