My Dongguan Love Story

Chapter 33 Xiaoqian's Boyfriend

Zhao Fengyue was quite surprised to see her daughter, Zhang Xiaoqian, who was preparing to travel to Hong Kong Island with her boyfriend that day.

Logically speaking, at this time, he should no longer be at home.

Knowing that Zhang Xiaoqian wasn't home, she brought Dazhuang back with her.

Seeing Zhang Xiaoqian's ashen face, she pretended not to notice.

"Xiaoqian, didn't you say you were going to Hong Kong Island today?"

Zhang Xiaoqian glanced at me, then looked at Zhao Fengyue: "Well, let's go tomorrow. My boyfriend came today too."

Your boyfriend is here too? Zhang Peng.

Zhao Fengyue narrowed her eyes and looked behind Zhang Xiaoqian.

Then they saw a young man with blond hair standing behind Zhang Xiaoqian. His hair was dyed a dull yellow, and his bangs covered his left eye.

He wore a thick silver chain around his neck, earrings, a floral shirt, and a blue dragon tattoo on his left arm.

He was wearing tight black pants, and his legs were so thin they weren't even as thick as Da Zhuang's arms.

A pair of flip-flops were on her feet, revealing her gray-black toenails.

Upon seeing Zhao Fengyue, his previously nonchalant face immediately broke into a fawning smile:

"Auntie, you're back?"

"Um."

Zhao Fengyue didn't even look up, just grunted in response. She really didn't know why her daughter would fall for such a blond-haired guy. He was always loafing around, didn't have a proper job, and just hung out all day.

She estimated that Zhang Peng's daily expenses were all covered by his daughter's support. Otherwise, he wouldn't even have enough to eat, let alone afford a trip to Hong Kong Island.

But she knew that her objections were useless. Xiaoqian had been spoiled since childhood, and coupled with her busy work schedule in the past, she lacked discipline. Now that she was grown up, she simply wouldn't listen to advice.

Oh well, let's just assume she's just playing around. Hopefully, she'll be more sensible when she's older.

Out of consideration for her daughter, Zhao Fengyue, though dissatisfied with the blond-haired man, didn't show it. When she saw the blond-haired man behind her daughter, she still nodded.

"Auntie, are you hungry? The food is ready, let's eat first."

Huang Mao Zhang Peng said to Zhao Fengyue with a grin.

"Um."

Zhao Fengyue nodded and went inside.

Seeing me following closely behind Zhao Fengyue, Zhang Peng smiled and nodded, "Brother Zhuang, let's eat something together."

"it is good."

After we went inside, Zhang Xiaoqian glared at Zhang Peng with some dissatisfaction: "Why did you let him in? Don't you know I don't like him?"

Upon hearing this, Zhang Peng rolled his eyes inwardly.

You don't like it? Your money all comes from your aunt, and this is her boyfriend. How could I offend him? What if your aunt gets angry and cancels your bank card? Would I be left starving?

He might have been internally complaining, but he didn't dare offend this young lady on the surface. He smiled and hugged her, coaxing her:

"Don't be angry, baby. Later at dinner, I'll make him drink until he throws up, that'll be your revenge, okay?"

Upon hearing this, Zhang Xiaoqian's previously tense face finally broke into a smile, and she looked up at Zhang Peng: "That's more like it."

"Hehe, I have to avenge my little darling." Zhang Peng laughed as he put his arm around Zhang Xiaoqian and walked towards the restaurant.

Zhang Xiaoqian looked at Zhang Peng with sweet eyes. She liked Zhang Peng like this, always obedient to her and with eyes full of her.

The dining room in Sister Zhao's house is in the Hong Kong style.

The walls are painted with light gold latex paint, complemented by marble wainscoting.

A multi-tiered crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling, sparkling in the sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The dining table is made of rosewood and looks to be about two meters in diameter, which is quite large. However, it has a rotating turntable.

Next to it was a mahogany wine cabinet, filled with foreign wines and red wines.

After Zhang Peng helped Zhang Xiaoqian sit down, he looked at me and smiled:

"Brother Zhuang, want some wine?"

"it is good."

I usually drink alcohol like water, so when he asked me to have a few drinks, I readily agreed. Besides, I was a little thirsty myself.

"Okay."

Zhang Peng walked to the liquor cabinet and picked up two bottles of Moutai.

He has been to Zhang Xiaoqian's house many times, and he basically treats it as his own home, taking things here and there as he pleases.

Sometimes, he would even take a couple of bottles of Moutai with him when he left to resell and make some pocket money.

They had originally planned to take a bus to Hong Kong Island for a few days.

But after hearing Zhang Xiaoqian tell him about Aunt Zhao and Dazhuang, he suddenly became restless.

Thinking that Aunt Zhao might bring Dazhuang back tonight, the two canceled their train tickets to Hong Kong Island and stayed home. Sure enough, Aunt Zhao did bring Dazhuang back.

To be honest, Dazhuang was tall and burly, and at first glance, he seemed quite good-looking. No wonder Aunt Zhao took a liking to him.

But in his heart, he was very hostile to Dazhuang.

After all, Aunt Zhao only has one daughter. If she doesn't marry, all of her property will belong to Xiaoqian after she passes away, and everything Xiaoqian owns will be hers.

Now that Dazhuang has suddenly appeared, who will inherit Aunt Zhao's enormous wealth?

Although Zhang Xiaoqian is Aunt Zhao's biological daughter, the old saying goes, "Once a daughter is married, she's like water spilled from a cup." Aunt Zhao has a husband; how could she possibly give all her wealth to her daughter?

Originally, I thought that if Aunt Zhao remained single, she could pass on her wealth to Xiaoqian and me.

Unexpectedly, Aunt Zhao couldn't stand the loneliness and found a man!

Holding the Moutai, Zhang Peng couldn't help but glance at Zhao Fengyue as he turned around.

She sighed inwardly. Aunt Zhao, you've been single for so many years, why can't you just bear it a little longer? If you just endured it a little longer, your whole life would be over.

As Zhang Peng sat down, he glanced at Da Zhuang and sneered inwardly:

"You want a share of the Zhang family's assets? You don't even deserve it! Let me get you drunk first, make you look foolish, and then you'll lose face in front of Aunt Zhao. Let's see how you'll pursue her then."

Zhang Peng suppressed his dissatisfaction and put on a smile:

"Brother Zhuang, how about some Moutai?"

As he spoke, he poured the wine with both hands and handed me a small bottle.

"it is good."

I nodded, picked it up, and downed it in one gulp.

"Brother Zhuang, you have a good capacity for alcohol." Zhang Peng gave me a thumbs up, smiled, and then downed his drink in one gulp.

He sneered inwardly, "What are you pretending for? Down it in one gulp? Let's see how many bottles you can drink!"

Although Zhao Fengyue was dissatisfied with Zhang Peng, she only felt a slight dislike for him. She didn't completely ostracize him.

Seeing Zhang Peng's enthusiasm for Da Zhuang, he felt a surge of goodwill towards him.

She knew, of course, that Zhang Peng's enthusiasm was entirely due to her. He didn't necessarily want to befriend Dazhuang.

But none of that matters.

All she wants is for everyone to get along harmoniously.

Now that her daughter is unhappy about her relationship with Dazhuang, it would be great if her boyfriend could speak up and change her stereotypes.

Thinking of this, she unusually picked up her wine glass and looked at Zhang Peng:

"Come on, Xiaopeng, let's have a drink too."

"Okay, Auntie."

When Zhang Peng saw that Aunt Zhao had actually taken the initiative to drink with him, he was overjoyed and flattered. He quickly filled his glass and clinked glasses with Aunt Zhao.

When clinking glasses, he deliberately held his glass slightly lower than Aunt Zhao's.

After touching it, he drank it all in one gulp.

After finishing his drink, he looked at me.

"Come on, Zhuang, let's have a drink too."

To be honest, he was quite flattered when Aunt Zhao offered him a drink for the first time. But then he thought, aren't all these changes thanks to Dazhuang?

Damn it, has Dazhuang already taken such a big place in Aunt Zhao's heart?

No way, I have to get you drunk today and make you look like a fool of yourself.
