Bai Lu glanced at her. "Why are you always a step behind me?"

Two mid-stage Mahayana female demons were arguing back and forth in front of Shen Yifei, while Shen Yifei calmly looked inward at his dantian. Xie Liaochen stared at him for a long time, then asked, "Where's my senior brother?"

"Elder Chen? Didn't he leave?"

"He's gone? Where did he go?"

"This disciple doesn't know. Elder Chen said he was worried about the Golden Crow Sect that day and went back first. This disciple even saw him off at the mountain gate."

Xie Liaochen closed his eyes and took a few breaths.

He remembered that when this kid left Qingyun Sect for Hehuan Sect a few months ago, he was only at the late Golden Core stage. After staying at Hehuan Sect for two months, he returned at the late Nascent Soul stage. After a trip to the Hundred Thousand Mountains, he returned at the early Deity Transformation stage.

In less than a year, he jumped from the Golden Core stage to the Nascent Soul stage.
