"A trap? Can't we just kill it?"

Taylor was puzzled. If Lynn hadn't stopped him, he would have rushed up and fought the Hydra.

Dragons are excellent hunters, able to make good use of the terrain, hide their bodies, and strike at the crucial moment to deliver a fatal blow to their prey.

Of course, this does not include the Red Dragon.

When faced with prey, even prey stronger than itself, the red dragon's superior intelligence will only tell them that it is time to use its super power.

Why use your brain when you can solve things with your fists? And if you can't solve things with your fists, then punch them a few more times until you can solve them with your fists.

Red dragons are not lacking in wisdom; on the contrary, they are quite intelligent, and if you look closely, you can come up with many good ideas.

However, most of the time, the red dragon's brain is connected to its muscles, its horns replace its thinking, and it prefers to speak with its fists.

Unlike the brainless white dragon, the red dragon is intelligent but unwilling to use it.

Lynn shook his head slightly, a hint of doubt in his eyes. "That snake is hiding in the icy river. Are you going to jump in?"

Lynn's considerations were much more realistic.

Among the five dragons, the green and black dragons are the best swimmers, able to freely display their skills and unleash their full power in the water, much like the native inhabitants of the water.

Secondly, there are the blue dragons and white dragons, whose strength is somewhat limited, but they are still far superior to other aquatic land species.

As for the Red Dragon, it's a landlubber. Faced with an enemy lurking underwater, it might want to dry up the entire river to demonstrate its power.

"Oh no, Lynn, tell me about your trap, and I'll cooperate fully with you."

Taylor then realized what was happening and immediately agreed to cooperate.

Making traps is good; I need to learn how to make traps.

"Taylor, do you have any family?"

Lynn stared at Taylor's face and suddenly posed a soul-searching question.

During the Thanatos dynasty, dragons were not allowed to have territory or subjugate followers until they received permission to build a nest.

Every resource within the dynasty's controlled territory, including land and local species, minerals, and trade routes, belongs to the dynasty.

However, the dynasty's territory was vast, and there were many tribes suitable to be its subjects. The dynasty could not possibly incorporate all of these resources and take them away.

All dragons can use these resources left in the controlled areas, but they cannot possess them privately; otherwise, it will be considered an embezzlement of the dynasty's property.

For example, this abandoned white dragon's nest is a place where young dragons can roost and hunt nearby.

However, the young dragons cannot claim this place for themselves. When the dynasty needs to use this white dragon's nest, Lynn must cooperate and leave.

To acquire territory and subdue followers, permission to build nests must be obtained. This is necessary for the dynasty to integrate and allocate resources, and all members of the dynasty should cooperate.

This in itself is a form of protection for the young dragons.

Under normal circumstances, a young dragon without any powerful protection is already considered an elite dragon if it can have its own territory in the wild.

Young dragons are valuable from head to toe. When their strength is insufficient, some greedy races will outwardly submit to the young dragons but secretly plot against them.

Of course, if the young dragon has enough strength to manage these surplus resources, the dynasty will generally not interfere.

Unless the young dragons develop using these resources, the dynasty will not use this as an excuse to cause trouble and collect some gold coins.

Taylor pondered for a moment, then shook his head repeatedly. "Family? You know, I'm just a young dragon, like you, without permission to build a nest, and therefore cannot have a family."

"Taylor, you've given too many explanations. Just tell the truth."

"Don't worry, I only need to use some of my followers as bait; I don't care about your treasure."

Taylor's expression was written all over his face, and Lynn understood it immediately.

Red dragons typically don't explain their behavior.

Taylor's extensive explanations and elaborations suggest he likely has something to hide.

Lynn had heard Taylor mention that he had once robbed a truckload of minerals, which must be the reason.

All the spoils within the dragon's nest territory must be handed over to the dragon's nest owner for distribution, and often a large portion of them are taken by the old nest owner.

Taylor definitely didn't hand over the mineral resources; instead, he hid them outside and planned to retrieve them once he had grown stronger.

If the Dragon's Nest owner discovers it, all the treasure will be confiscated; if it remains undiscovered, all the treasure will belong to Taylor.

This tactic is quite popular in the dynasty. Many young dragons who live with their mothers will do this after they have a fortuitous encounter.

"You guessed it. I did indeed hide the minerals outside and persuaded a kobold tribe to relocate and live nearby to guard the treasure."

Taylor looked embarrassed, scratching his dragon tail on the ground as if he were a little ashamed.

"Taylor, I hope this is the last time you lie to me. Now, go find a dozen kobolds who are willing to die for the dragon."

Lynn exhaled two breaths of cold air, his tone angry and commanding.

No matter what kind of dragon it is, even if Tiamat herself comes, Lynn only wants absolute obedience.

"Lynn..."

Lynn glanced at Taylor and added, "I only want the kobolds. Since you plundered those mines on your own, they belong to you."

"That's great! We have plenty of kobolds willing to risk their lives!"

"You said he didn't mention you, right? Go outside and bring in some stones to set up the terrain."

Lynn glanced at the gloating blue and green dragons, then began pointing and urging them to act.

Lynn rummaged through the items Kane had given him and took out the ones that could create magical explosions and destroy ceiling rocks and ice spikes.

Once the kobolds have lured the hydra out with their lives, Lynn will blow up the rocks and ice spikes on top of the pool, blocking the hydra's escape route back to the pool.

Once the hydra is lured to the ground and its escape route is temporarily cut off, Lynn can launch a righteous gang fight against it.

Lynn didn't care about the kobolds' lives.

Kobolds are nothing more than a resource of loyalty in the eyes of dragons.

"Lynn, are these stones really working? That multi-headed serpent has seven heads, a full seven!"

"Those things have incredibly thick scales. Can these rocks really kill it?"

Roseline was panting heavily. It was much easier to stay home and dig into the alchemical technology in the Dragon's Legacy than to do these physical tasks on an empty stomach.

The once empty White Dragon's Nest was now filled with rocks as tall as a person, all piled up high according to Lynn's plan.

Once the multi-headed snakes enter the attack range, the two weaker young dragons will push the rocks to aid in the battle.

"Whether it works or not, we'll see after we try."

Lynn whipped Roseline with her dragon tail to keep her working.

"Look at Yeliya, she works so hard, she's moved far more stones than you."

Hearing Lynn's praise, Yelia smiled and felt even more energetic.

Once the rock formation was in place, Taylor, followed by over thirty kobolds, strode arrogantly into the White Dragon's Lair.

The traps and bait are all ready.

They are just waiting for their prey to take the bait.
