"The Flint family is untouchable, but do you think the Tongxin Society is easy to mess with?" The old dean shook his head.

"Melina brought a little mouse in before. If you don't do anything about it, who knows what she might bring into the academy next time."

Parker was somewhat dissatisfied with the old dean's attitude of only watching and not doing anything.

"If you ask me, these civilians are not trustworthy." Parker's gaze turned cold.

As Melina and Li En stepped out of the academy's barrier, the light in the old dean's eyes quietly faded.

"Parker, put away your arrogance. This is no longer our era."

The old dean shook his head and sipped the fine, invigorating tea alone.

Li En followed Melina's feet, admiring the street scenes along the way.

This time, they didn't take a carriage; instead, they chose to walk.

Looking at the stray cats and dogs being chased away without their owners, Li En narrowed his eyes and asked Melina, "What do you mean by that?"
